Apart from the last design, which is my favourite, the rest are in no particular order. 5 of them I think are likely finalists, the others won't stand a chance BUT all are wonderfully different (I think) from the other designs submitted. Let me know your thoughts below and, for any I haven't chosen, it has been a hard decision, there is a lot of fan talent on show.
Adventure in Transylvania should be an official set. It's so gorgeous. I would definitely buy it even if it was pricey. It's a shame that it's only in the brinklink series. It could be so much more.
I'm rooting for Brickwood Manor but I also really love the Mushroom Village. I love all the spooky details in the mansion and we don't get enough dark or mysterious builds. And they're my favorite. The mushroom village concept I just absolutely love too. The designer is on another level. It has so many genius details, and I want to see the series continue.
If they do the Manor, I am TOTALLY putting my Scooby-Doo figures in there. It's perfect for that. But I soooo want that Transylvania set. It's just an epic display piece while still having all the fun of Lego....and it could look really amazing next to the Nightmare Before Christmas set that comes out later this year.
From the ones you featured the mushroom village is my favorite. I've ordered the mushroom house and this would make it all the more fantastic. The myserious mansion takes the number 2 spot for me. The other sets in this video, I wouldn't buy. Even though I like the look of some of them; they just don't fit in with what I have going in my lego room. ;) I have to say that this is a strong series; I've 'liked' and 'loved' more sets than in any of the previous series.
Indeed, it’s always down to personal taste and what is already on display, but so many great ones to choose from here. I think the mushroom village stands a great chance, will be popular as such a good follow-up to the mushroom house 👍
I remember supporting the _Art Factory_ back when it was a LEGO ideas set (made it to the selection process but wasn’t chosen) … and I’d definitely order it if it’s selected. Same for the _Brickwood Manor_ and same for the _Transylvania castle / house_
I was tempted by the galactic city. Been submitted before and I covered it in the previous round. Is a cool concept. And the canal lock is also nice, both deserving of a vote
I am going to go for the Popcorn Wagon, The Old Skull, the Black Tower, the portal of Shadows and Dracula’s Castle. The last two are my favourite. How did you not mention the portal of shadows….look at those mini figs 😀
I think Draculas Castle, the Mushroom Village and the Popcorn Wagon are all going to be a finalist... have to look through the rest a bit closer to get my top 5 predictions, but I think these 3 have a really good chance.
the first set, i really like. i think its not supposed to be completely accurate to human form. i see it as an artistic choice to make them look the way they look. theirs a game out there called going medieval and this set reminds me of the look of the little villagers in that game, i really like it its unique.
Love the Old Skull, it's one I'd want to support! So many cute and interesting details, plus pieces that could be reused for other builds that aren't necessarily modern city! The mushroom city is cute but probably not something I'd get (nor was I that interested in the mushroom house). They're cool, and if I had unlimited money I'd get them, but they're not that high on the list for me. Still like that Transylvania set a lot of course too!
I was sooo close to including that steampunk airship. I don’t think it will be picked, that kind of build never has in the past but it’s my thing absolutely, really cool 😎
I agree! And since the piece count isnt a lot and the parts arent mostly exclusive this means that the price point will be lower then 200, which is to me an amazing price point
I started voting fewer and fewer sets (I am really trying to vote only the sets I would buy) - I didn't buy the mushroom house this time around, so it's unlikely I will buy the mushroon village. It is a great looking set though. Can't complain. Same goes for the pirates sets. They are just not my jam. However, I love the cathedral construction site (if they could have made it finished with option to have it "partially built" as well - that would have been great. Adventure in Transilvania is most likely something that will win, and it's refreshing ( I love castles, but we already have a castle, a waterside castle portion, a siege camp, a south american castle looking thingy and that forestman ruin - all big sets ... ). This can be used in city, castle as a frightnights set or anything else really, I like it. And very well made. I do hope they will vote one of the smaller medieval sets though (1000 ish pieces at most) with the wolfpack. Those are sets we really need (unless lego decides to make them themselves ... I'd much rather have this - a creator / normal set / even a GWP if they put in the work and make the printed shields and a flag - remake of the wolfpack tower / renegade )
I doubt both Brickwood Manor and Adventures in Transylvania will be in Series 5. The concepts are too similar. I would really love to see The Thieves of Tortuga be selected, though two sets with 4000 pieces is unlikely as well. I'm curious how many votes the Logging Railway and Ocean House got, seeing how relatively little interest there is in these sets. Maybe there were sets that got more votes but were too similar, so LEGO chose these sets even though not many people voted for them. Else I can't explain why they're not selling. I mean, if you're voting for it, you'd want to have one, right? Why vote for something you're not going to be buying?
Yes it would be interesting to look at. Of course pricing isn’t known when voting beyond an educated guess. But the number of votes doesn’t need to be as high as the amount available to preorder. But you are right that a lot of hype is made for not as much follow through
I'l be crushed if Design 4, The Art Factory, doesn't make the final five. It's been my favourite fan design since I first saw it as a Lego IDEAS submisison a few years back, and it would be a shame if arguably Brickester's best design didn't join Brick Cross Station and the House of Chocolate as Bricklink Designer Program finalists.
I really hope Dracula's Castle isn't as popular with most fans outside of this YT community. We're going to get many more Dracula's Castle clones in future submissions, but the Floating Waterfall Castle is something we'll only see once. Such a shame.

Very true. I like a lot of what Lego does but they seriously miss out on officially doing sets like that. It’s stunning.

Tortuga looks so beautiful, the problem is that it use a lot of pieces so i doubt it will be a finalist

Bricklink sets have to be original not based off of an existing IP. That said, if it’s public domain now I’m not sure
