- These are the Lego Ideas submissions chosen by Lego as Staff Picks, the ones that have caught their eye for one reason or another. In this video, I take a look at the top 25 sets in a countdown to the closest (currently) to the 10,000 votes needed.
Could one of these be a future official Lego set? Which will you vote for? Let me know in the comments.

Creator of the humpback whale here; thanks for the feature!
Pleasure, thanks for the cool build submission
I love this build! Such motion captured in time. I hope this goes well for you!
I’m super excited for the Day of the Dead, the Book building, the constellation, and the capybara. Love to have an Australian animal, the educational yet simple build of the constellation set and I think the book building would be perfect for a bookend on a display shelf (many of my friends would love this especially if they can choose or change the names on the spines - say fantasy or sci-fi books or science books, etc!)
Oh and the Italian Rivera! Yes please!
All great choices. Shame can’t all be made
I have to say I like the Volcano the most!
It’s very impressive
That knight is amazing!
bricklink bricklink bricklink!
these longer videos are great, 50 min drive to and from work. Thank you!!
Welcome 🤗
A few of these were already projects I’d supported, & ones I’d actually buy . My favovourites are “La Caterina” (day of the dead figure) & Bobs old Tugboat. The details on both are just that extra bit special 😍
I also really like a few of the others you’ve shown too, but wether I’d like them enough to buy & display ¿🤷🏼♀️? I know they can’t all win so I agree with you that it’d be so good to be able to buy plans of the ones that didn’t!
Absolutely. Cool sets, and for those rejected would be nice for the fan designers to be able to sell instructions if they so wish
The tugboat is by far my favorite set featured in this video and probably the only one I'd buy (unless certain sets would receive considerable re-designs by Lego, which could of course change my opinion).
I am really impressed by La Catrina, but even so I don't think it's something I would buy. I'm mostly into minifigure scale stuff and any 'big build' would have to be based on something I truly care for a lot - which this is not (and I've yet to see a set like that, honestly).
Whale and la catrina for me if I had to pick two! Also I have seen an Italian Riviera on BrickLink before and I remember it looking nicer than this I think.. 😅
I do like both the whale and la catrina very much
Love the telly as I’m one big retro baby. Not keen on the big blob of yellow honey.
Good thing about Lego ideas is that stuff appeals to different people for different reasons 👍
The day of the dead model is stunning. Bit too creepy for me though. Imagine that coming to life in the middle of the night….nope nope nope
It does have a touch of The Witcher about it, lol. But what a stunning build
I’d be giddy. It’s almost be like a storyline from a Tim Burton movie
I’m noticing some of renders have bricks lit(luminous), is that allowed? I’m suprised, I wonder if they allow in BDP renders, cause I just entered series 5 with modular, and I purposely left out any “luminous” renders, cause they said “only” bricks actually IN set are allowed in renders, which “luminous” colors weren’t in pallet, now I’m scared I’ll be only dummy that “dosent” do it lol
Whats your thoughts on the sets that have been revealed in latest results
I gave my thoughts on them in my predictions video. I am surprised they won out overall although the minifigs for the gumball should be very interesting. The Pixar one I thought had the best chance but not sure over licensing and that seems to be what’s causing an issue with it
