Hi Jen, I was watching this and thought this would be great for a teacher. But saying that most teachers could not afford this! Thanks for you honest opinion! I agree with you. I’ll keep my maker and wait until the next affordable product comes out! Because I do love my cricut! Pat
I love paper projects and always had to shrink my projects for my maker 3 so I am SO excited and purchased the Venture! Do I need it, NO, but I wanted it!
I got one but I sent it back after finding out that I would have to buy all new mats and blades. I figured it just wasn't for me. It is amazing but more for those with a small business who do repetitive work. I wish they would have made a Maker 4 with the speed of the Venture. Also they need to work on Design Space a little bit more!!
I love my cricut products. I have owned Cricut machines since the first one they came out with including the Imagine. I own the Cricut Floor Lamp and also 3 sizes of the cricut heat press. The new Venture missed the mark in my opinion for the average hobby crafter. The price is extremely high especially since all the features only work with cricut products. My craft room is packed and no room for something this large. As a retired teacher, my cricut machines served me well and I would not have wanted a larger machine. Thanks for the information you gave in this video which expressed my feelings exactly.
Honestly I heard a lot of ladies saying that at the event. The price is high and the thought of storing the materials for it? You can use non-Cricut products with it but only on those giant mats which I think is going to be a big turn off to lots of home crafters too, particularly the home business crafters they’re trying to target.
Thanks so much for this video Jen! This machine is very cool. It would be great for a small business owner, but it's a bit much for the everyday hobbyist. I can't imagine weeding that huge project! Does this machine use the Design Space software or is there a new software to learn? Gus Gus was cracking me up!
It does use Design Space but only on the desktop version. I’m sure eventually it will work on the mobile versions (phone/tablet). There are other features for regular machines that only work on desktop now.

I would love a version of the Maker that is that fast!
I would be interested if they did a venture mini. I don’t need anything that big but the speed is appealing.
Thanks for your honest review. And btw I love the cat meowing 😂❤️

Well it's not for the average hobby user, it's for power users who maybe make an income from there craft.

All I can think of is the many small projects you can do at one time. The cup wraps this is amazing, but the price 😢
The price is crazy. But being about to do a bunch of stuff at once would be cool.
Yes I needs it. I need the precious! Lol😂
Lol I know the feeling!
Very nice review! It’s way out of my budget, but a very interesting product!
The biggest drawback for me is the materials
The materials and the overall size for me.
Thank you for the info. This is def not for me and I love my cricuts!
