I love that I can always count on Cricut to invent something amazing for those of us who craft. This machine looks fantastic. I'll be saving up for one. But I have to do it quietly ...don't want to make my Maker jealous .. LOL
Cons: "Smart" materials needed to be matless. Design Space required. No rotary blade. Having a rotary blade would make this super useful for people doing fabric arts. If Cricut is expanding into commercial space, the software can't be breaking all the time.
I finally am feeling comfortable with the maker. I’ve had it almost 2 years now. It’s always FOMO when new and grander things come out but I think I’ll just stay focused on becoming an expert on my maker. Still lots to learn! lol
Jennifer what a wonderful introduction! ❤️ I am 79 years old and I don’t think I will be needing the Cricut Venture. If I were younger and going in business I would love it. I have to remind myself of my age. I do love crafting! I also really love all of your tutorials! Thank you so much from my heart! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Jennifer for sharing! You were my first teacher when I purchased my maker 3, I downloaded your book and I know I can trust your reviews and you are a thorough and excellent teacher!😊
That’s what I love about you, Jennifer, your honesty. I am planning a project for a wall and although it would be great, the cost right now, I cannot manage.
Hi Jennifer. It is so nice to see that Cricut doesn't "sit on their laurels" so to speak when it comes to inventing new products for crafters to use. I am sure this will be an asset to those who do a lot for crafting for sales and I'm sure that right now it is on a lot of crafters' bucket lists. However I am later on in years and would not be buying this. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to use transfer tape on something as big as these cuts can be but I'm sure the younger crafters will figure it out. As usual Jennifer, your tutorials are so very much fun and informative. thank you for staying on top of things for us. You are a gem.
Thank you for the best information about the new Cricut machine. I have seen a few "announcements" from others, but you always have the most comprehensive information.
Jennifer, you were my first Cricut guru and I follow you to this day. You are so informative and you make it easy to understand. Thank you for always imparting your tips and tricks to help us become better crafters. Bravo!
I cannot wait until mine arrives. This video was very helpful. I originally wanted one to do the larger cutouts. It was costing too much to print up (now I've switched to an Eco tank printer so that helped with the cost) and then the time to piece together the pieces. But the last 6 months I've been getting bulk orders and i needed something to cut more at one time... I had no idea the cutting time was faster. (I didn't do much research.) i went with the Venture because I already use design space with my other 3 machines.
I am going to be making merchandise for my son’s business and would love to get this, I think I will save for the next year to get the Cricut Venture and table. I am sure you awesome Vloggers will show us all the great things that it will be good for. I just purchased the Cricut Auto Press and Mug Press this year and have an Explore Air 2. 🎉 Excited for the new Venture! 🎉
Cricut is killing me! I just got an Explore Air 2 and fell in love with it. Now I see this awesome machine and think, "I need love that!" LOL. Guess I better start saving.
Thank you so much for this Jennifer Maker !! I honestly am more excited about this machine than I was with the 3 I already owen. I will be saving saving saving for this one I know what is going on my christmas list for every one this year. So excited this could help me bring my business to the next level. So thank you so very much for this !!!
It has taken them a long time to catch up with the Silhouette Cameo Pro which I bought years ago at around half the price. If you do buy such a wide format cutter it is really useful for drawing and cutting out pdf sewing patterns. You still have to tile the larger pattern pieces, but it is a lot quicker than printing and cutting A4 or letter size paper. On the Cameo you can use the rotary blade to cut out some fabric pattern pieces directly on the mat.
@@JenniferMaker It can be loud, I would not use it late at night, depends on what material it is cutting. However it is no worse than my embroidery machine, I do not need to wear ear defenders to use it.

Great video, Jennifer! I plan to buy one with the stand. It will be a Merry Christmas, Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday gift. My family will help me buy it, and they will be off the hook for gifts for a whole year!😉
Thank you for the thorough preview. While it looks like a cool machine, I don’t see a need for this in my crafting. Small business owners will benefit greatly. I’m very happy with my Explore and will continue to learn from your fantastic videos.

Good comment, also everyone needs to think about where they plan to keep the materials. I have a 24 in Roland cutter and my rolls of vinyl are a lot to store, not to mention the new Cricut 24 X 28in cardstock!! That's why I really liked the original Maker!!
Great introduction! I sure wished there was a rotary blade for this machine. For this price point I feel like that would seal the deal for me. But as I understand it, you can use a bonded fabric blade. That could work as well. 🤔

I want this with a stand! But the price of the machine, along with the added cost of new mats and vinyl makes it out of my price range now. Would be lovely!
Thank you for explaining why you paid for the machine yourself. When I saw your other CRICUT Venture unboxing, I thought that CRICUT simply didn’t want to provide the machine to you at no cost. This is another great review!!! PS. I place a small piece of painters tape on the mat covers to identify which side to place back onto the mats after I use them.
Great presentation, Jennifer. Thank you. I watched the official Cricut presentation earlier, (your email came just as it was endingt) and it pales in comparison with yours.
Jenniffer great job on the introduction off the new Cricut Machine! Cricut has done it again another great awesome cutting machine well done Cricut!!!! Done think I will be getting one maybe if I was a little bit younger lol Thank you again for sharing this amazing machine! Hugs Liz 😊

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for the great review! I am thinking of picking this up for my sewing studio. This would save me so much cutting time, for those patterns with SVG files.
Pretty cool, but I have a Maker because of the rotary blade. Just like the Joy, I can’t really justify it, nor can I get excited about making room for it. Love the cart tho. ❤
Yes! While the Cricut Venture doesn’t work with the Maker’s rotary blade, but you can use the bonded-fabric blade to cut material using the same steps as those for the Explore. 😊🌻

I was thinking about sublimation paper. If it makes everything else easier, i don't mind taping the sub paper together to get larger pieces. i got mine for 599.
You found to let us know what field to dig in to find the cool grand this thing is gonna cost? (And the siser is 25 percent less.) (I know there's issues with that machine, and I'm sure some will pop up with this one also.) And having to buy smart materials......
Hi thank you for this video, i feel like im getting conflicting info on whether the venture can cut/engrave wood and leather. Can you confirm? I thought I saw it can do everything the maker does but then heard on another channel it can only do what the explore does. Thank you
I would like to know if *Cricut has made or is going to make a card mat for this cutting machine? It would be awesome to make large batches of cards at one time.💝
I’m actually curious to see if this could be my solution I’ve been looking for to cut out clothing patterns for my sewing. Would love to see how it does with fabric
Wow so many things! I am wondering how it cando print then cut since we have to use our printers to get the color on it. Please explain. Thanks so much!
You use your printer to print just as you would the Cricut Explore or Maker, then you cut it out using the Cricut. Watch this video to learn more about Print Then Cut: ua-cam.com/video/fWvKrmNAxTw/v-deo.html
This looks really cool! But although I do own a small business, I most likely wouldn't need or have a use for something this big for at least a couple of years! 😅 It's nice to know that it's out there now, though!
Strongly considering buying this. I have the 24” silhouette machine but it’s been causing a lot of frustration with the vinyl moving all over the place while making larger cuts. My only issue with the venture is that I won’t be able to make larger cuts without a mat using non-cricut vinyl. I really love oracal vinyl so I’m torn.
I almost thought about giving this a try but not if I can only use cricut vinyl when cutting mat less. I'll stick with Sillouette Pro and use whatever vinyl I want mat less.
Hello Jennifer, Thank you for this video. This is very exciting. I have the cricut maker 3. I love the easy use of Cricut design space. 1 1/2 yrs ago I purchased the Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro 24 inch. I have used it 3 times. I find the Silhouette software and the machine too complicated to navigate. I will have to take a look at maybe investing in the venture as I could use design space.
The Cricut Venture can cut, draw, score, and add sparkle with the foil tool! And, it can use its sensors to make awesome Print then Cut projects. It’s compatible with the same 100+ materials as a Cricut Explore, just on a much larger scale. I have a link to the printer I used in the blog post, linked above. 😊🌻
It's amazing but for a business is not better a good laser machine? I think that the price is very very high but its my opinion...thanks for this video Jennyfer! I love you all your made...
Q: Can you please tell us about your printer shown in this video? I was hesitant about the Cricut Venture before your video but after watching your presentation I’m coming around BUT I will have to watch more in-depth videos before I jump on this boat. SPACE is definitely my biggest consideration. I’m definitely a Cricut girl, I just wish Cricut would do a BETTER job of making the accessories more interchangeable for their customers. I understand wanting to be innovative BUT think about the customers and the machines they already have. I have 3 Cricut machines and I want to continue using them BUT I also want to have exciting new accessories for them. Thank you Jennifer for doing these videos, you really are a GREAT teacher. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ you and Cricut.

Should make them jealous for all the terrible machines silhouette has make thru the years that last 3 months.
Cons: "Smart" materials needed to be matless. Design Space required. No rotary blade. Having a rotary blade would make this super useful for people doing fabric arts. If Cricut is expanding into commercial space, the software can't be breaking all the time.
Plus the fact that design space can only be used on desktop!
@@denisetebbs2742 I use design space on my iPad? Or is it desktop only for the venture?
Exactly!
@@HopeMartin-vj5tw Desktop only for the venture I'm afraid

Thank You so much for your help and your reply.😉💝
I’m actually curious to see if this could be my solution I’ve been looking for to cut out clothing patterns for my sewing. Would love to see how it does with fabric
Hi Jennifer from Kentucky
I was wondering what size printer and brand you use
It's a Canon ImagePrograf TC-20 I bought on Amazon -- here's my affiliate link for it: amzn.to/46DAWp6
Get a graphtec 😊
I can use oracal matless in my maker 3 but don't know if it would work on this
I almost thought about giving this a try but not if I can only use cricut vinyl when cutting mat less. I'll stick with Sillouette Pro and use whatever vinyl I want mat less.
It sounds like the Venture is not the right machine for you. :)
Give it a few weeks, I'm sure hacks will come out for using oracal vinyl :)
Hello Jennifer,
Thank you for this video.
You're welcome. :)
Does it engrave? Also for the print and cut what printer would you recommend for large printing?
The Cricut Venture can cut, draw, score, and add sparkle with the foil tool! And, it can use its sensors to make awesome Print then Cut projects. It’s compatible with the same 100+ materials as a Cricut Explore, just on a much larger scale. I have a link to the printer I used in the blog post, linked above. 😊🌻
Hello Jennifer! Thank you for the demo. 🤗
You are so welcome!
It's amazing but for a business is not better a good laser machine? I think that the price is very very high but its my opinion...thanks for this video Jennyfer! I love you all your made...
Thank you! This is a lower price if you compare it to the other comparable professional machines on the market.
This is the printer she says she uses on her website:
