I have the Siser Romeo and the Cricut Maker and I’ve all but switched to Siser because I find their software to be better suited for me/my needs. I do think Cricut did make some really smart choices in the design of the Venture but the material choices have me scratching my head a bit. After seeing your videos, I really want to get a Husky unit or two for my space!
I completely understand about switching. I haven't tried Siser yet, but it's on the list. The cost of the Cricut Venture machine and supplies are pretty heavy. I feel like they've moved away from the hobbiest to the business person. I'm still hoping they continue to improve and develop the Cricut Joy and Maker further. And I LOVE my Husky work benches. The amount of storage is amazing!
I appreciate your honest review and I know these videos take some time to execute. I love Cricut for getting me seriously into crafting but they have failed to truly innovate for quite some time. I love my Siser Juliet and Romeo much better and the price for the Romeo is perfect. I still use my Cricut Maker for teaching and as another machine to run simultaneously with my other machines for large jobs but I am not convinced of the Venture. I was surprised that many, many reviewers have made no mention of the loud vacuum sound the Venture makes as well as the exorbitant price for Cricut materials just to cut off mat! Very disappointed in Cricut;(
Thanks for watching and your feedback. I love my Cricut machines and their software is easy to use, but they are missing the mark and I was really hoping for something new to come out but this wasn't it. I'm going to delve deeper into using the Silhouette Cameo 4 and Brother Scan 'n Cut as well as look at getting one the Siser machines. I'm hearing good things about it. More videos to come. Thanks again.
If design space wasn't so glitchy this would be a good investment for a small business i have a small business and cricut air 2 I rather upgrade to a maker
You may be right but according to Cricut's website at help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/15868041918103-Cricut-Venture-FAQ - it states "The Performance Machine Mats created for use with Cricut Venture are made of a more durable material; they were created to withstand the speeds, forces, and pressures that this machine generates. Other Cricut Machine Mats will not fit in Cricut Venture and will crack and warp under the pressure of the pinch rollers."
The Cricut Venture is expensive plus you need to use only their vinyl is a bummer. With limited colors and yardage it's a no for me, I do enjoy Cricut machines more. I own the Cricut Air 2 and I have the Silhouette Cameo 4. My preference is Cricut I like how they make quality machines and the computer program is user friendly. If anyone knows where I can purchase vinyl for the Venture machine in bulk in different colors and more yardage PLEASE share. By the way Cricut STOP locking your customers in purchasing vinyl from you it has too many limitations. Honestly speaking I would still like to invest in this machine.
Agree that the smart vinyl made specifically for the venture is expensive. I haven’t looked to see if anyone else is making it yet. I use my venture for high volume projects like gift tags. The cutting time is reduced tremendously and I’m able to get more done faster. 🙂

BEST review of the Cricut Venture yet! Appreciate you being objective. Think it's unnecessary for me but might be a good upgrade for some.
Glad it was helpfu. This machine is really meant for those running a business with high volume.

I LOVE those Huskys!!!

No lie - Felicia was up until 2AM with this thing so she could produce this video today.
It's fun playing with a new machine! I couldn’t wait to see what it could do. More videos to come. :)
People do not appreciate your kindness 😢
Dedication ❤
Great job with the review… I also love your storage solutions … keep up the good work jun
Thanks for watching. I can’t get over how much the Husky workbenches can hold! Love them. 😊

This is my goal ☺️
You can do it! 🙂
Can one use the iPad app with this?
Yes. Cricut Design Space app works great on an iPad.
Does it cut fabric?
I don’t think so. It cuts 100 materials but I don’t think fabric is one. The Cricut Maker can cut fabric.
I was expecting something a lot more groundbreaking. I was disappointed
If they were smart, they would have incorporated a printer into this machine
@@ChuckFreshOh now that’s an amazing idea
I wish they had modeled this after the Cricut Maker instead of the Cricut Explore. The Maker can do so much more.

The Maker is an awesome machine and perfect for a small biz. The venture is nice and all but comes at a hefty price.
But you're totally right about Design Space.
24X24 PAPER? WHERE CAN I BUY PAPER THAT BIG???
On Cricut's site here - cricut.pxf.io/QyXkya 😀
@@craftwithfelicia thanks but that is 2x the price I pay for 12x24" paper, I'll just stick 2 pieces of 12x24" paper on to save money.
It will not Ruin the other sizes mats 12x12, 12x24 will be just fine.

$1000? I could buy TWO Silhouettes for thatLmao and
You could buy a Silhouette Cameo Pro AND a Siser Romeo and still be under the cost of the Venture. Just sayin....it's crazy!
Beware it doesn't cut FABRIC as stated above. ONLY BONDED FABRIC!!!!!!!!!
Correct. Thanks for clarifying.
Yikes that was a terrible job with the decal on the wall.
Thanks. 😐 I’m truly no fan of working with large sheets of transfer tape.
