Is there review/tests comparing say the 40" to 48" Monitors...ASUS, Samsung, AORUS, etc...I'm using a ASUS 32" but would like a bigger one without going the TV route....good stuff as usual

The nicest thing about the bendability is the fact your can create the perfect curve for you. I personally find the 800R as to deep.
So are there any 40 plus” OLED cured 4k monitors that you recommend. I hear there maybe some new ones coming at the end of the year.

Haven't tried that one out yet personally. Would love to! But my overall thoughts on monitors past 240hz is that it pretty much seems like a waste at that point since most games don't get fps that high and you don't really notice it that high either
@@JustinTechTips games with mods are alot different wanna check out some insane fps the new Forza motorsport 8 8k gaming is all some when it comes out but I'ma get the 17400 Corsair I'm only 15 so lol it'll take me a few months

I draw projects for a living, so i might be a bit picky, but i noticed that when you bend this monitor you do not attain an arc of circle, instead there are "bending knees" where the image gets distorted in a similar way like those luna park mirrors, although much much less significantly. Thus, if you draw a circle with a cad program, and you drag it from one side to the other, you can notice it will ovalize vertically variating the 2 oval axis proportions when it passes over the bending knees. I obviously don't pretend drawing geometry on an enterteinment setup, but, knowing the picture gets distorted from how it was meant to be, without the brain being able to see it with correct proportions like it would do with an arc of radius, really upsets me... So i just end up using this always flat even when i watch movies and play games... I would really prefer a fixed radius of 2000 (imho the perfect middle point to use a 21:9 for both gaming and watching films) on an proper arc of circle...

I'm very curious about this monitor. I game (all kinds) do light productivity, Photoshop, AI image stuff, Blender for 3d, fun video stuff etc. I like the idea of setting my own curve and the size of the thing along with all the other stats.
The PPI is the one thing I wonder about but I already zoom in on webpages sometimes with my current 34" ultrawide at 1440p Resolution so I don't think it would be an issue actually.
Who else has this monitor? How do you feel about it?
Not being mountable is an instant deal breaker for me, gonna go with the lg UltraGear 45 that has the same panel

I run mine at 3860x1600 and still get HDR and 100hz refresh rate. Though as far as I can tell it is not "supported."

Im on my second in a week and the banding on the screen is terrible. Verticle grey lines shouldnt be a issue on a 2k monitor in 2023

for the price not having Gsyn ultimate makes this a complete pass I decided on the alienware AW3423DW

monitor was a big no for me at 49 sec. 3440x1440p on that size is just bad. my 1600p 38" is bad already and the pixels can be seen easily.

This monitor is now 1 year old and more expensive at 2k that makes sense.
Why is it so expensive I understand that it new and has extremely high quality features but I’m just going to wait for the price to drop
if you play fps games more often than others than you want to stick around 27 inches for a monitor size

depending on how comeptive you are in fps online games a goad size screen like 24-27 inches has been proven to be better for reaction times and for noticing things like enemies and so forth@@Mocorn
