So, something I've found myself doing a lot with songs (not so much with Gavin's work, mind) is wishing that I could hear a song based entirely on one part of the song (see the intro to "Life's Been Good to Me" for that particular chestnut). Well, I want to see a song entirely based on the part of this song where he starts going "musket guns and silver slivers, justice runs in crimson rivers..." What I mean is a song that matches that musically and thematically. This song's pretty sweet, but that part just blew the rest of it out of the water for me.
I might do one next year.... currently have to take a break from recording due to my tinnitus but will certainly consider it as the next MOS song when I can work again :)
I greatly enjoy the style you went with on this one. It sounds kinda like an actual music video made by Ubisoft or something. Your songs are awesome, especially the AC ones
This one actually grew on me. At first I thought it was okay but, the more I listened to it, the more I got it. At the risk of sounding a tad pretentious, I guess it's fitting that a game about revolution and change should have a song that differs from the usual work that you do. So yeah. Thumbs up from me!

I'm going through your entire playlist after recently rediscovering your music (how could I ever forget?! the mind boggles...) and I'm consistently impressed by your insightful lyrics, and the way you always manage to make the songs fit the atmosphere of the work you are referencing, while always making it your own thing. You are now my favourite musician on youtube, keep up the awesome work!
What compelled you to write two songs about a game that you did not even enjoy nearly as much as its predecessors, I will never know. What I do know is: both of these songs are amazing! I may be the only one, but I absolutely didn't like this song. Don't get me wrong, I love all MoS songs in general. But the rapping/dubstep like choice for Assassin's Creed 3 makes absolutely no sense. Normally MoS tries to pick a music genre based on game's theme, or genre that would symbolize that game. Dubstep works in the "Higher Tonight" Saints Row 4 video. As it fits to the game's theme. But it doesn't fit in AC3, a theme of a native American that became an Assassin and got involved in politics while being still too young and naive to see the world clearly.
