Well Admiral, you made quite the tear though the galaxy. I got to watch some of it first hand after linking up with your fleet. If the Star Destroyers now floating in the void are anything to go by, you are a man whose wrath is not to be tested. When you linked up with Mon Mothma, I separated form your fleet to meet with an.. interesting contact of mine. Seems Queen Dalné of Naboo, has grown very frustrated with her rulership being nothing more than a figurehead with Moffs running the world instead. Seems the Emperor barley has respect for the traditions of his own people. If we can take Naboo, the Queen is more than happy to side with and aid the Rebel Alliance. On that note, I've discovered that the imperial supply lines across several worlds, including Naboo are razor thin. We strike at the right time, it will cause a massive collapse of the supply lines and rebel cells will easily be able to launch uprisings against their Imperial Opressors. I'll be making my way back to your fleet, in the meantime, keep doing what you are doing. The more chaos the Empire is thrown into, the easier it will be for me to launch my operations.
Greetings Alrec, as glad as I am that you are alright. This is good information, but currently we are stationed on the other side of the galaxy and it will be difficult to reach them. But with the Imperial defenses significantly reduced due to our recent raids it may be possible to reach them. But please send the Queen my compliments as we will be arriving soon.

In the meantime you can observe the way this ship functions in order to familiarize yourself with the way a Mon Calamari ship functions. Be aware that you are strictly an observer on this ship. 8:50 Yo! That’s me! Nailed the pronunciation on the name btw! Also can I just say I love how involved you are with the viewers and their characters? You don’t usually see that. I really appreciate the lengths you go to in order to interact with and put our characters not only in the world but on the frontlines. “What are you talking about, Jayson?” Skallis asked, fidgeting with his blaster. The bulky white Trandoshan stood in the corner of the dimly lit room, checking his equipment. Jayson found this odd. Skallis rarely double-checked anything, even something as important as his gear. Jayson Jerrid had never been a mercenary, but he figured making sure the gear you used was working was pretty important. “I’m saying my report actually reached Admiral Ackbar. I think he might consider letting you join the cause!” Jayson said. Skallis scoffed. “Ackbar might LET me? You say that like I’m the one begging the Good Admiral to let me into his fold! In case you forgot, they are fighting to restore the Republic, the same Republic that branded the Jedi traitors and hunted down every last one of us-“ Skallis stuttered and hissed, “them! I mean them.” Jayson paused. He knew Skallis had some kind of history with the Republic, but what did the Jedi have to do with anything? “Look, Ackbar mentioned a providence cruiser he thought he could get you-“ “Look,” Skallis interrupted,”I know it’s Rebel One you’re talking about and I don’t want that thing! At this rate I would take one of those Sullustain cruisers, or even one of those coveted Calamari ships you won’t shut up about! Anything to let me get up close and personal with those Imperial sleemos!” “I’m sure that can be arranged.” Jayson tried. “Not for someone like me,” Skallis said, a hint of sadness in his voice, “no one would care enough to do that. After all, my kind are nothing but hunters and slavers, right? I’ve seen Ackbar’s report -you should really take better care of your things- the Wookiees liberated themselves from their cruel Trandoshan oppressors! Well that admiral is right. My kind are heartless, cold-blooded killers and aren’t worth your time, and I’m nothing special. Once you get that through your skull you’ll be sorry you wasted your time on me.” “Look Skallis,” Jayson soothed, “that’s not what I-“ Jayson was cut off by a blaster bolt whizzing past his head. Just as the bolt flew past Jayson’s head, the door opened, revealing a figure in the frame. Whoever it was died instantly as the blast slammed into his chest, sending him crumpling to the ground. “Good day, Jayson.” Skallis hissed as he lowered his blaster and trudged out the door. As he walked, Jayson thought he was dreaming when the body in the doorway moved on its own out of Skallis’ way, and if pushed by an invisible force… 53:04 Verrak: Admiral, you’ll be pleased to hear that all systems are running perfectly and- hold on, how many destroyers? Ensign: Uh, quite a few, Captain. We’re clocking- 53:19 Well we’re not even with the fleet! Get us back there, ensign! They need our support! Admiral, this is Captain Verrak. I’d like to apologize for not supporting the fleet during the Battle for Azzmen Station, we were staying behind to run diagnostic after previous action. Nonetheless, you’ve triumphed again, and I commend you for it, sir. Glad we have the chance to show Mon Mothma the beauty of our home world. I can only hope she can convince the rest of our people to throw in our full support for the Alliance. In other news, my agent, Jerrid, has returned to me with more information regarding the Trandoshan mercenary, Skallis. I will put the report through to you now… Admiral, this is the Rebel operative, Jayson Jerrid, currently stationed on the newly liberated world of Trandosha. I spoke with Skallis, the Trandoshan mercenary, about joining the Alliance, but he turned me down again. Something about his quarrel with the Old Republic. Admiral, I know he’s good deep down. He’s not like the rest of his kind, he’s not just a killer. However, something is blocking him from us. I think if you could speak with him, show him that the New Republic won’t be the same one that hurt Skallis a long time ago, then he’d join us. He would be so helpful, a god tactician and an amazing fighter? He’s a near perfect combination! There is something else as well… I don’t know what it is, but Skallis somehow sees things before they happen, and he seems to manipulate objects without touching them. He knew an Imperial agent was about to crash our meeting before he could even see or hear him, then moved the body without even touching it! Do you know what this ability is? Anyway, I think with your power of speaking you could convince him to our cause. I think he’d take any flagship at this point, he just needs to feel seen. Would you like me to initiate a meeting? Just in case, here’s Skallis’ portfolio again: Jerrid out. Subject: Trandoshan Gender: Male Age: Unknown (relatively young but old enough to have seen the Republic) Scale Color: Paper white, massive burnt scar near left eye, looks almost like a lightsaber wound? Eye Color: Dark red Height: 6'4" Weight: 198 lbs. Typical clothing: Ugly green vest Weapons: Blaster pistol, blaster rifle strapped to back, and a strange gold and silver cylinder on the back of his belt Skills: Pretty good shot, quick-witted, clearly learned strategy (I don't know from where but he seems to enjoy deceptive tactics), and has an inhuman reaction time. I now notice that he sees events before they happen and can move objects without touching them. I have updated the following stats according to my most recent interactions with Skallis: Strength: 9/10 Intelligence: 9.5/10 Speed: 6/10 Constitution: ? Charm: 8/10 Finesse: ? Shooting: A Hand-to-hand: S+ Hacking/Technology: A Piloting: C Tactics: S Deception: S+ Diplomacy: D Logistics: C SpecOps: S+ Intel: A+
Verrak, good to hear from you once again. No worries about the no-show at the Battle of Azzameen Station since in the end we didn't need you to come out victorious. I too am glad to see our leader seeing our home world. Tell Jerrid that I would love for him to set up a meeting with him. If what he says is true, then I feel I know what it is that afflicts his soul. I'm only surprised that he, Jerrid himself has not figured it out. It seems rather arbitrary as to what his prior experience is. But if he can't figure it out himself first, then I won't reveal it 'til I'm face-to-face with Skallis himself. Tell him I will meet with him at any time of his convenience. (Thank you for saying that about me. I try my best to get involved with my role-players' characters, but I'm hardly the best at it, or does the name TigOldBitis ring a bell? He actually creates custom ships to fit the characters his role-players give him. Though I wish I could do that. As of yet I can't so you won't be seeing that out of me. But anyway thanks as always for the feedback.😊)
@@thehomeonecommanderii7509 “Karabast,”Skallis swore under his breath “there’s an old Imperial officer on that MC40.” “What? How can you tell?” Jayson Jerrid said beside him as the two looked out the viewport at the mid-sized Calamari ship that had just entered the system. “I can’t believe you talked me into this. What makes you think this brilliant admiral of yours can convince me to join your cause when you couldn’t after two years?” Skallis threw up a claw. “Because this admiral is a lot smarter than I am,” Jayson said, crossing his arms, “and he’ll be able to show you what the Rebellion is all about.” “I understand that you would know,” Skallis protested, “but the Republic wasn’t exactly the perfect government you think it was. In case you forgot, it was the Republic that betrayed the Jedi and became the Empire.” “This will be different.” Jayson said. “Yeah, that’s what the tried to tell me before I left the Order.” Skallis said quietly. The door slid open and a young man bearing the ensign rank stepped in. “The admiral is ready for you, Skallis.” The man said. “Perfect.” Skallis growled, shoving past Jayson as he followed Ensign Benjamin Parker out of the room. “Admiral,” Jayson said as he quickly pulled out his comlink, “Skallis is coming, and I think he’s ready to talk…”
*Skallis enters the office of Admiral Ackbar. Ensign Benjamin Parker motions him in and excuses himself.* Admiral Ackbar: Ah, Skallis I believe, just the Trandoshan I was hoping to see. Skallis: Make it quick Admiral. I was told you were able to "convince" me of joining your cause. Well... "convince" me... Admiral Ackbar: As you no doubt know we here in the Rebel Alliance are out to restore the Republic, and that you are not a fan. Skallis: Yessss... painfully aware, now on with it. Admiral Ackbar: Well, would it surprise you that we are not out to restore the Republic outright. But to better it and fix the mistakes that the Old Republic made. We are not out to restore the Old Republic, we are out to create a New Republic. Skallis: Humph... you say that, but what would be so different from you and the Old Republic. Admiral Ackbar: Because we not only strive to remedy the Old Republic, but we aim to end the corruption in high places. Even now our leader Mon Mothma seeks to sway the hearts of my home world of Mon Cala with her words instead of force for them to join our cause. Skallis: You say that, yet I saw an Imperial Officer on my way in. Admiral Ackbar: No doubt you speak of Azar Strider. His is no doubt an unconventional tale. Yes he was an ex-Imperial Officer but he has defected to our side. I am told he has a mind that could rival Grand Admiral Thrawn in tactical acumen. And contrary to your belief he wasn't given the welcome mat. He imposed on himself a 10 year prison sentence. Skallis: Well good for him. The Force knows he must've known he deserved it. They ALL deserve it. Admiral Ackbar: NO! (Slams a fist on his table) He didn't deserve it. See unlike other Imperial officers he never committed any atrocities or war crimes. But he witnessed a fair few and also unlike the others he has a conscience and defected to our side. It was only because of my intervention that he was given another chance. He now awaits the command of one of our finest ships. Just one example of how the we do business differently than the Old Republic. Skallis: Well, I guess I was wrong. But that alone will not convince me. Admiral Ackbar: No I suppose not, but would it surprise you that your request for a ship has gone through. It may not be a Providence-class like you initially requested but would an MC75 do? Skallis: You... Admiral Admiral: You can do with it as you please. You don't have to be member of our Alliance just point it at where you want to go and the crew will do as you say. Skallis: You... Trust me like that? No questions asked? Just that simple? Admiral Ackbar: What would you expect of us for a former Jedi? (Skallis was at a loss for words for once. He stuttered his next lines) Skallis: Kkkkuuk... querrrr... H-How do you k-know that? Even Jayson doesn't know that! Admiral Ackbar: Wasn't hard to figure out. I've known a few Jedi in my time. Even fought by the side of the greatest of them in Anakin Skywalker once. All I had to go on was Jayson's description of you being able to predict things and move things with your mind and I immediately knew. Besides I could practically smell the Jedi coming off of you when you came into my office. Is the bitterness of losing the Order what prevents you from joining us? Skallis: Maybe... but what could make me think that you are no different. The Old Republic betrayed the Jedi Order. Admiral Ackbar: Ah! So that is the root of the cause. Well would it surprise you that it wasn't the Republic that betrayed the Jedi Order but Emperor Palpatine that did. Skallis: What? And if so what of it? Admiral Ackbar: But don't you see, Palpatine was already manipulating the Old Republic into becoming the Empire well before the Jedi Order fell. It was the order of a wicked individual that felled the Jedi Order, not the system which the Jedi Order had protected for 25, 000 Years. It was Palpatine's manipulations that caused the downfall of the Jedi. He was already planning to betray the Jedi long before he claimed they attempted to rebel. Besides it was Palpatine's rule that the Jedi were trying to overthrow, not the Republic. So in a way it was really the Empire and what it represents that betrayed the Jedi and not the Old Republic. Skallis:..... I... never thought about it like that... Admiral Ackbar: Well... whatever you decide I hope the Force rewards you with a longer and more profitable life. Farewell Skallis, former Jedi, and May the force be with you. Skallis: Wait! What about my new ship? Admiral Ackbar: Like I said you may do with it as you please. But you'll have to wait a period of time for us to get it ready. Skallis: Just like that? No questions asked your going to let me go? Admiral Ackbar: Yes, what have you changed your mind? If not then Ensign Parker will see you to your ship. Ensign! *The door opens and Ensign Parker comes through* Ensign Parker: Yes Sir! Admiral Ackbar: See this man to his ship. Ensign Parker: Very good Sir. Please accompany me... *Ensign Parker motions for the door to open and for Skallis to walk through. But Skallis was deep in thought.* Skallis:........... Wait! *Ackbar and Parker both look at him waiting on baited breath both* Skallis..... I'll join your stupid Rebellion. But only to get back at that Imperial scum, nothing more. *Both Ackbar and Parker let out knowing smirks.* Admiral Ackbar: Excellent! We'll work out the details of your rank later but for now, welcome to the Rebel Alliance. *Ackbar offers him his hand. Skallis hesitates a moment, but eventually he accepts the gesture and takes takes him in his hand and shakes it.* Skallis: Thank you. Don't make me regret this decision. Admiral Ackbar: We'll try, no guarantees. (There, I hope that was to your liking. I hope I didn't overstep my bounds by making him choose to join the Rebellion. I hope you would've chosen that yourself for the character? That was where you were leading this to, no? Anyway I hope you enjoyed this little bit.)
@@thehomeonecommanderii7509 That was PERFECT! You perfectly nailed the inner turmoil and backstory I was going for! Definitely wanted him to join the Rebellion. Skallis is a character with a good nature deep down that he tries not to show to anyone. Love the MC-75 too, closest thing to a Providence the rebels can get with its armor and missiles. Love it! Thank you for reading my character so well!
@@maliciousyam-466 Thank you, but if I'm being honest, making interactions using characters I either don't know too well or who are not mine is stressful on me. Please don't make me do it too often. I don't mind it for a few occasions but those are rare. Ackbar, despite his notoriety is mostly a blank canvas to me and Parker is just simply my own character through and through. But when I'm responsible for someone else's character I feel incredibly, burdened with responsibility of handling that character properly that it honestly feels stressful. I just don't want to screw up so bad. Now I wrote a series of Dragonball Z fanfiction stories for years where only one character was my own and the rest were all canon. But that was only because I was so knowledgeable about the characters in question that I felt I could successfully utilize them in the stories. I knew them almost as inside and out as anyone. But with you and @Night_Stalker I had to do them almost on command without any research or prior media to give me a true "feel" for the characters. So please, don't ask me to do that too often. In fact ask me as little as possible, please. Thank you.

Jayson paused. He knew Skallis had some kind of history with the Republic, but what did the Jedi have to do with anything?
“Look, Ackbar mentioned a providence cruiser he thought he could get you-“
“Look,” Skallis interrupted,”I know it’s Rebel One you’re talking about and I don’t want that thing! At this rate I would take one of those Sullustain cruisers, or even one of those coveted Calamari ships you won’t shut up about! Anything to let me get up close and personal with those Imperial sleemos!”
“I’m sure that can be arranged.” Jayson tried.
Once you get that through your skull you’ll be sorry you wasted your time on me.”
“Look Skallis,” Jayson soothed, “that’s not what I-“
Jayson was cut off by a blaster bolt whizzing past his head.
As he walked, Jayson thought he was dreaming when the body in the doorway moved on its own out of Skallis’ way, and if pushed by an invisible force…
53:04 Verrak: Admiral, you’ll be pleased to hear that all systems are running perfectly and- hold on, how many destroyers?
Ensign: Uh, quite a few, Captain. We’re clocking-
53:19 Well we’re not even with the fleet!
I will put the report through to you now…
Admiral, this is the Rebel operative, Jayson Jerrid, currently stationed on the newly liberated world of Trandosha.
Just in case, here’s Skallis’ portfolio again:
Jerrid out.
Subject: Trandoshan
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (relatively young but old enough to have seen the Republic)
Scale Color: Paper white, massive burnt scar near left eye, looks almost like a lightsaber wound?
Eye Color: Dark red
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 198 lbs.
Typical clothing: Ugly green vest
Weapons: Blaster pistol, blaster rifle strapped to back, and a strange gold and silver cylinder on the back of his belt
Skills: Pretty good shot, quick-witted, clearly learned strategy (I don't know from where but he seems to enjoy deceptive tactics), and has an inhuman reaction time. I now notice that he sees events before they happen and can move objects without touching them. I have updated the following stats according to my most recent interactions with Skallis:

“Karabast,”Skallis swore under his breath “there’s an old Imperial officer on that MC40.”
“What? How can you tell?” Jayson Jerrid said beside him as the two looked out the viewport at the mid-sized Calamari ship that had just entered the system.
“I can’t believe you talked me into this. What makes you think this brilliant admiral of yours can convince me to join your cause when you couldn’t after two years?” Skallis threw up a claw.
“Because this admiral is a lot smarter than I am,” Jayson said, crossing his arms, “and he’ll be able to show you what the Rebellion is all about.”
“I understand that you would know,” Skallis protested, “but the Republic wasn’t exactly the perfect government you think it was. In case you forgot, it was the Republic that betrayed the Jedi and became the Empire.”
“This will be different.” Jayson said.
Ensign Benjamin Parker motions him in and excuses himself.*
Admiral Ackbar: Ah, Skallis I believe, just the Trandoshan I was hoping to see.
Skallis hesitates a moment, but eventually he accepts the gesture and takes takes him in his hand and shakes it.*
Skallis: Thank you.
Thank you.
