Hello again Admiral. Seems that while we have been making gains in the lower edge of the galaxy, every other faction that can, has attacked us near the upper middle. Empire, Black Sun, The Hapes. Seems you'll have your hands full soon. Speaking of hands full though, I've gotten a lot of activity reported from some associates of mine. Seems both Kuat, and other major Shipyards have been burning the night cycle oil on something. Massive ship parts are being produced and sent off for assembly, though which Drive Yard is doing that Assembling I can't yet say. Word is a Belator, and at least one other ship Executor have been scheduled for construction. Seems their response to our recent aggression has been to call in the big ships and try and blast us down to something more manageable.. but how would it look if we could set those ships ablaze and floating in the void?
Well I'm going to be off now. The string of rebellions have begun just as I thought. I need to get to Naboo and ready the queen and her guards for when things hit the fan. With any luck, the next month cycle will see a free Naboo ready to join the alliance.

Sender: Commander Skallis of the MC-75 Profundity class cruiser, “Savoir Faire”
Recipient: Admiral Gial Ackbar of the MC80 Independence class cruiser, “Home One”
    50:08
Ensign: Commander, Commander! We’ve just received word of an attack in the area.
Skallis: (absentmindedly glancing around the bridge, still familiarizing himself with its configuration) Finally, our first combat. And where might this attack be, ensign?
    Ensign: Trandosha, sir.
(A tense silence descends upon the bridge as the eavesdropping officers all turn to look at Skallis, whose expression is unreadable)
Skallis: Alert General Iblis and prepare the hyperdrive.
    52:49
Ensign: Condact, sir! I count about 6 Acclamator class assault ships!
Skallis: Yes, quite the welcoming committee. Not to worry kid, those Acclamators aren’t as dangerous as they look, I would know. I’ve commanded one in the past. They’ve got nothing on these Calamari ships. We just have to watch out for those rockets. Now, prepare to fire a salvo!
    54:11
Skallis: There, a gap in their line! All power to engines, cut off the lone Acclamator on our starboard side and fire off a salvo!
    54:30
Ensign: We’ve got two acclamators in range on the starboard side, sir.
Skallis: Well what are you waiting for? Send them our message.
    Ensign: yes, sir. Full salvo!
    54:35
    Ensign: enemy ship destroyed, Commander!
Skallis: (sarcastically but with a teasing grin) What gave that away, kid? It was the giant explosion for me.
Ensign: (laughs bashfully and returns his attention to the viewport)
Admiral, this is the second report of Commander Skallis, and first fleet action report. I am happy to report the Black Sun invaders have been repelled. I will admit I was hesitant to rush to the defense of my home planet, as it’s the only thing I hate as much as the Empire. We engaged and destroyed a large contingent of Acclamator class cruisers as well as some lighter craft. I knew from my time as Jedi Commander that those old transports wouldn’t stand up to your admittedly impressive cruisers. General Iblis’ tactics were adequate, but I more so appreciate the freedom from politics in his fleet. In regards to the Zealtros situation, I argued that we should launch the attack but Generals Iblis and Madine both thought an attack was too risky. I understood that the heavy shields of the cruisers wouldn’t do well against those Hapan ion cannons, but I just hoped we could retain Zealtros. I don’t enjoy being slowed down by the opinions of my “superiors,” but will concede that they may be right on this one. Maybe…
That’s all I have to report, Commander Skallis out.

Commander, good to hear you are doing alright, and your crews' first taste of combat. Fitting it was over Trandosha, or rather I should say ironic given your distaste for that world. But still it should remind you of how every world and life has value that should be preserved. Yes, General Iblis and Madine might be right about not engaging the Hapans, at least not right away. Anyway I should be returning to your sector from my away mission at the Outer Rim soon. Hopefully at that point our fleet will have the firepower needed to defeat the forces arrayed against us. That's all for now, Admiral Ackbar out.
