I love the riddle of love, it symbolizes so much. This is the moment that Oswald truly feels loved by both the city and his friend and the moment that he falls head over heals for Edward.
I really wished Edward would have talked more about why he became the Riddler to Gordon and anyone who cared to listen, I just dig when the villain makes the hero realise how much they partook in their villainy. It felt like Lucius was the only one who actually listened to him...unfortunately it was too late.
I seriously doubt it. They didn't still even bother to give him his signature question-mark cane, not even for seasons 4 and 5! Instead, they gave him the most pathetic inappropriate and unnecessary thing that never ever actually have happened to all the other incarnations from "Batman Forever", "The Hush", "Earth 1 pt2", "Year Zero/War Of Jokes & Riddles", "Arkham City/Arkham Knight" and "Batman The Enemy Within"...behold, a micro-chip, implanted into his brain by Hugo Strange and then mind-controlled by Bane! What kind of the mindless weak-willed washed-up wishy-washy mook does this show really think he is!? That's not what the Riddler is like! This Riddler sucks ass and my sister hates him because he's the equivalent of the biggest horrendously bad, beyond annoying shit-fucking cock-blowing horse-raping jizz-drinking anal-plucking monkey-jerking dick-knocking sissy-villain-porno mind-fuck of the intentionally pathetic cheap-shot my sister have ever seen in her entire life...behold, 'Ganon's Puppet Zelda', featured only in "Twilight Princess" (when should have featured in "The Faces Of Evil"). I'm telling you that...he's not Gollum (because the spit-personality part is also inappropriate, while more suitable for Two-Face), he's not Dr. Jakyll and Mr. Hyde (again, split-personality), he's not 'dancing-emo' Spiderman, he's not Tuxedo Mask, he's not Winter Soldier, he's not the Terminator, he's not Bebop or Rocksteady, and for cry out loud, he's not even Yuki Cross, he's the goddamn Riddler! With that said...Edward Nygma a.k.a. The Riddler does not fucking need an mother-fucking micro-chip to fit in his character nor does he even fucking need it to complete the story!
This story was absolutely amazing, and it warmed my heart, it is a very powerful story with the moral of love combined with forgiveness and confidence.
Excellent series, GOTHAM. I am captivated completely. When I had a tv and dvd player, I couldn't wait for a chance to check out the new season from a library. Without them, and dependent on only a laptop, I am grateful that someone made this available for all of us to enjoy. A nice way to start my weekend.
