Thanks for those that flagged the lack of audio on the last upload of this. Still not sure what happened but this one seems fine. Any issues let me know!! Cheers all 🍻
Professional looking job, I bought a six point attached rack for my Interceptor and I'm really pleased with it. I bought a massive top box to use on my days out. I wouldn't know where to start with a welder but you obviously do. It looks fantastic.
Thanks Paul, totally self taught, done some pretty shoddy welding in the past but getting reasonable these days. Having a box of any description on the bike is super handy, we’ve found the ammo boxes on Kj’s are great for stuffing lots of essentials. Racks/boxes transform a bike for me turn them into very useful machines
The panniers look great and totally fit the look of the bike. I’m going to need something similar soon but will have to settle for something off the shelf.
I always make my own pannier racks ,either modify like yours or make from scratch, the price of these things are mad and that's not even with the boxes.......only takes a days work and you get what you want and save some pennies for other bike goodies, all the best love the vids you do 👍👍
Yes longer shorter bags with top bag will be ok. Increase liter size of top bag going across. 👍 can get huge duffle bags to fit on top across the seat..80 - 100 liter bag
We’ve got a big waterproof alpkit bag 100l but we don’t need that big as we are on two bikes. I’ll have to try and put a video together of when we are packing up. We are good at travelling light, or at least we were. We are a bit out of practice at the moment!
Wish I had yor skill set, just a bit of fabricating and welding!!. Just to let you know I have sold my lardy Wing which I loved and just ordered an Interceptor today. It is all your fault I told my wife. Those footpegs do get your legs. I am thinking already to buy the Continental footrest plates to move them back the necessary distance.
@@stimgaze - thank you, yes thats what I thought which is why I made one. I would buy ‘off the rack’ if there was anything I liked but there just isn’t!
Nice use of a Riv-nut on the build. Good job.

Congratulations you’ll love it! Your legs harden to the pegs eventually 🤣
@@DormanDiaries NO THEY GET MY VARICOSE VEINS🤣
@@mototakahe836 ouch 🤕 good point!
Ah better sound 👍🍺
Thank you for flagging the other one, I’d not noticed, the video was fine on the computer it just must have been some settings UA-cam didn’t like.
I heard you!!!😀, how’s your moto garage construction going btw?
Its not yet, been waiting on building regs approval, got them now, hopefully starting the footings in not too long
@@DormanDiaries, ok then, good luck with it!!!👍🏻
@@carlosgooglemaps94 thank you sir
What's the rack? Looks neat!
I made that as well I’m afraid see here ua-cam.com/video/DzVtGfYAz24/v-deo.html
@@DormanDiaries Wow. You should mass produce those. I'd buy one! All the others look huge and clunky.
