THANK YOU! YOU JUST SAVED MY DAY
Gonna replace mine tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works.
Good luck man lmk if you have any questions
What brand was the replacement?
Duralast ill dig you a part number up in the morning
Part Number SU10456
Did you get code when it went out?
Yes it threw a code and went into limp mode had to drive about 20min with it in limp mode until i got to AZ n got the part n a simple turn off and restart n limping it home under light throttle got me home without issue
Isn't that the cam shaft sensor?
To my knowledge the camshaft position sensor is located on the top of the engine drivers side head area pointed towards the passenger side. When i replaced this it threw codes for a crank sensor i located that specific sensor replaced it and cleared the codes and they haven’t came back since. It is also the part that I grabbed at auto-zone.
@@KompleteKustoms did you have to relearn the crankshaft sensor to the car?
@@ethanallen2680 no for me it was a plug and play application, but I cannot confirm this to be true throughout all vehicles. Ive had this sensor in the car for over a year without any of the same symptoms returning.
