Yes many times, ever since I was 12. Great fishing area for many species! I film not far from there along the western Trent system of canals and lakes.

Are you serious? Guess I could compact it into tiny round balls Carp style but much smaller, then dye it orange or something? Doubt it would stay on a hook. I know people who use kernel corn and garden peas (dyed and natural) and catch a few.
@@thefish-eyeview7733 maybe on top small float stopper! I was feeding birds in water i noticed a lot small trouts start feeding as well just like to see underwater action if not to much trouble
@@fishbirdy8547 Checked out your channel and subscribed. You're obviously an Ontario Steelhead guy who knows his stuff - I recognize most of the spots you're fishing. Same places I've fished for 52 years and have filmed in for 30. Small Trout will eat anything, I suppose. Big Steelhead are TOUGH to film at the best of times, even with the best roe. Filmed many times in that back eddy at the top of the Trestle pool, and in the Flats and walk bridge in some of your vids. Very much doubt they'd hit bread like Carp.
