Thanks for the awesome video! I really like that you added additional article and that you explain reasoning behind things. You are one of few people that actually explaing why you shoud do X and that is super helpful! Stay healthy and make more cool videos please! :)
Newbie player here! Been bingeing your videos as they're very informative. I love how you simplify & connect all body movements explained towards how it will impact the play. You sound very humble man. Cheers!
Very rare to have workout content that thoroughly explains why we're doing the exercise and what body part its helping / stabilizing in the process. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your content and your videos
What I like about this kind of videos is it's targeted, so I am doing exercises more relevant to badminton strengths and mobility and not extraneous muscle groups.
Sorry I am no doctor and it is also hard to give some advice just by writing, but very important: Never train when you have pain. Stuff like tennis elbow is a sign/result of overload so you have to give yourself a rest
First of all you should see a doctor right away to find out what happened. The most common thing is a broken ligament that forces you to rest for several weeks. I had it a few times and after 3 weeks I started again with mobility training for the ankle. That is important to get back to a full range of motion and too avoid that the ligament and new scar tissue gets to stiff. After 2-3 more weeks I was able to start practicing again, but as I said in the beginning: Defintly go to see a doctor and don't do any training or movements that are causing pain for you
How i want to put this routine in my training coach?right now i do 1.stretching 2.warm up 3.workout 4.badminton technique5. Last is cooling down is it ok coach?
Hi, have you seen this video here: ua-cam.com/video/AguYxz9oOho/v-deo.html There I talk about the "right" order of things in your training and also when to put in strength training
Sure, if you have the right technique and a good mobility and stabilty squats will help you to improve your power in the legs and make you faster and fitter!
Yes you are right, good point! Ankle also has a double roll with mobility AND stability. Good way to work on that are again exercises on leg, maybe with balance boards and stuff like that. I forgot that in the video
Why you are not a professional badminton player. If i play best in india,i 'm 28 then can i play at international tournaments .I have played only senior category tournament. It's 8 years of hardwork and i am playing good enough . What is to be done to play International tournaments
I was for a couple of years but I only competed on the European Circuit, as I was not good enough for the big Superseries (now World Tour) events. Once you have a BWF number and your federation is willing to enter you for tournaments (what almost any federation will do if you ask them) you can enter for international tournaments. In the beginning you need to be a but lucky to get into tournaments when you have 0 WR Points but as soon as you got into 2 tournaments you have a world ranking and that makes it a lot easier. Of course you have to start with the smallest events (future series tournaments) but with a higher ranking and more points you also get into higher tournaments.
Thank you very much for making these videos. You're the best badminton coach in youtube.
Looks like productivity is off the chart after corona. Stay safe and keep them coming.

Yes already learned that 😅
Injured my ankle the other day.....any tips for faster recovery?....and also a rehab workout so that injury doesn't recur?

And for rehab/preventing future injuries: A balance pad and a few minutes daily is a great investment =)
