You should have decorated the carry case! I guess I need to try those markers but I can’t justify spending $70 on that box! Thank you for trying it out for us and giving your honest opinion!
Imo, the only thing of actual value there is the paint markers ($30 on the website), and the book is pretty cheap. $70 is ridiculously overpriced and I think the second box shown on the channel is still way better.
Yes! It’s kinda true tho 😂. At least it’s not as bad as the WHISPERS. Ugh. Nothing less relaxing than hearing loud whispers and the gasping breathing in between. Can’t
It doesn't really feel _curated_ to me; yeah, there's an activity book, but outside of that, it just feels like they threw their supplies in a box and slapped a "quarterly subscription box" logo on it. I've seen the Artful box, which used to choose a medium and send you everything you need for that (including a book with multiple tutorials). I think they've since rebranded to "art school in a box" (since you'd start to get repeats otherwise), but that felt like they'd thought about what they wanted to do with the box. This just felt like a 'you can give this to a kid for the summer holidays' box, and I definitely could have sourced that myself for under $70, I feel
I still feel like the value is not rlly there. The activity book is cute and id love the paint markers but the colored pencils just feel like filler material. Most people already have them ans prob in better quality was well. Its all very basic and id prefer an art box with some more special and less known supplies
I think you should break down the items to see what Grabbie would charge per item to know the value. It looks fun but I agree it is a lot for what it is.
Painting the stick reminded me of my grandfather, he carved and painted sticks for walking and when he died we all got a few of them, I hung them on my wall! It's really cool and organic, I loved that!!
A lot of art boxes and art diy set are very expensive for what you actually get(in terms of materials) but you are paying for convenience .I agree sometime it is better to pay for better materials over convenience.
I am pretty sure the markers are white labelled GuangNa markers. I have a set of 60 GuangNa and they are pretty great and look exactly the same, but they were pretty cheap! I don’t think any of the Grabie products are their own other than carrying their brand on them(they do curate them in that sense, though). The pencils are probably Brutfuner or Kalour I’d wager, too
I 100% agree with you about the dog park! So fun to see their little personalities!!🎉❤ My guy goes around breaking up fights between other dogs. He's called "the peacemaker"! Lol. The box is expensive but id like to try the markers! Also really wanted you to decorate the bag with the paint markers!!
I'm probably dating myself here but that magnifier frame totally reminds me of a show I watched as kid in Canada. Anyone else remember The Romper Room? 😂

Hi Chloe!^^ If you want, you could paint the carry case with those acrylic markers!😊 I think that box seems nice but is still overpriced!Great video!!I enjoyed so much!💖
That book looks great as I love a prompt book, like Moriah's, for example. But the kit is way too expensive. BTW, I've tried blind drawing before and actually found it helped!
I know you probably hear this a lot but you make my day so much better😅 , you help me get motivated to do art aswell wich I’ve been struggling to do due to mental health issues , I sit and watch your videos on nearly all devices of mine and can fully relax when I watch them , they help me draw aswell cause I sometimes put you on in the back ground , I’m currently binge watching all your art hauls because I love them so much ❤️ and as a new artist I like to see what bigger artists use so I know what products are good and what aren’t , I also love your art style and you are my biggest inspiration 🎉❤
The marker sets are about $30 each so $60 there. I can kind of see the value if they had better quality Colored Pencils or a Coloring Book instead of that Activity Book. Like an advanced (really detailed) coloring book if not both. Ot maybe. Bigger paint set.
The paint pots are for the paint-by-number projects. Each color has a number sticker on it to indicate where on the canvas to put each color. Hope this helps.
I like the canvas bag! I don't believe it was designed to hold Exactly what you get in the Grabbie Box; but just the essentials for a travel kit of art supplies. I mean, when I pack a travel or on the go art kit I don't pack, every single Prismacolor, and every single paint brush.
It's a very nice box with a pretty cool activity book. (side note- YOUR activity book looks really fun!) The carry case is a nice touch but $70 is way too much. I really appreciate you showing us that. I had Muse kits for a while and I loved theirs. I had a lot of fun and they charge $45/month
Good evening, totally enjoyed this video. Quarterly explains why i haved seen many box openings lately. Not worth the money in my opinion. I've purchased grabie boxes before and they were filled stickers and lots of other goodies. Loved the stick. Tfs❤😊
I find it very disingenuous that Grabie advertises their products as artist quality when they’re not even student quality, more like scholastic. Nothing in this box is worth seventy bucks
Hi Chloe! Thanks for sharing your box & if each was of good quality..$70 00, ah...No! I love the ideas & nudge of promoting & getting out-of-doors in nature to create art. My favorite was your beautiful, colorful stick! 💕
The dog park is my happy place even though my dogs don't like it i do. This box is very interesting. I love the case can be decorated too. The book alone with the pens are worth it cuz there are other markers at half that price but with this you get so many different activities included.
Seems like it's geared towards kids. I wish the carrying bag stored the paint makers in the little pockets. I think it's middle ground for pirce vs value. It really depends where it's packaged.
@laura101cookies they probably do already. Even at $20hr it's still not a liveable wage in a lot of towns in the US. It's $70 for the box but that pays wages for the designer, sourcer, items, packing, shipping, warehouse picker, warehouse packer, warehouse sorter, warehouse shipper, warehouse manager, warehouse quality, warehouse ship/receiving team, ceo, cfo, warehouse lease, utilities, and ect... The list is pretty long for how many wages that $70 goes towards. In that aspect I understand the price if it's packed in the US.
I think it was worth it. The case would retail at least 30, the markers 30, the rest has to be worth well over 10. The case looks like you could use the markers on it, the activity book would be 15 to 20. So for 40 months of use I would say yeah it's a fair price.
i wanted to buy this box but THANK GOD i watched your video before purchasing it! this box just seems like an activity box for younger artists (like kids😅) and me being an adult who’s been doing art for years i just don’t see myself spending $70 on this box when most of the supplies don’t seem to be very good and a lot of the stuff just revolves around the activity book.
The Box looked really good, totally an upgrade. I think of you male your own supplies, the price going up. For me personally it's to much, because for Germany you need to pay tax and shipping fee, so add 20 more.
My guess for the clear area in the case is for your phone. There are a lot of pencil cases now that have that kind of a feature so that your phone is safe from your art supplies and you can use it for references.
I love the activity book and the markers are really cool that you can just use them on a random stick. $70 is out of my price range, but I like this box the most out of all the Grabie boxes you've done.
Hullo Chloe Rose, I have plenty of art supplies and I don’t have a need for Grabie supplies. I imagine that this box is for a true beginner! Yet, I am doubtful that I would purchase this box for anyone. I know that you recently created your own activity book and I have pre-ordered it! Do you think you are more sensitive to what it takes to make them? I was NOT impressed by anything in this box, yet I was impressed by you and everything you did! I believe that we can get or find everything in the box for much less than $70.00! Maybe you could create a box (if just virtually) to show how to get $70.00 worth of art supplies? I know that companies will have incentive to make money and they often use less than top of the line supplies, I do believe that you can do better! I hope you try. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions on the box. I am much more critical of boxes and honestly I have not purchased every single one offered even by my favorite artists on UA-cam! This BEST BOX ever? NerdECrafter’s box! When she found the airbrush tool that actually works? Amazing!! I hope you decide to make a box, If only on video form to inform us viewers on what you believe to be in a good box! Thank you. Please stay safe and be well.
Am I the only one getting so stressed watching Chloe doing new things her way? Also laughing about it as well 😅😊 And it’s Halloween at your place, a spooky ghost and a hanger on the door :)
I think the activity book looks like it could be fun for many different ages (kids, teens, and adults). I haven’t tried any of their art supplies yet and got some Artxx ones a couple of months ago. I think $70 is overpriced as well, and would probably pay more around the $40-50 range. The carrying case looks like it could be fun to decorate. Also, the Walmart My Life As doll line has a dog play set and includes a red fire hydrant, lol.
I laughed out loud at your tapping fingers. I can’t tell you how many videos I have turned off between tapping fingers and wiggling fingers and hands. Thanks for the laugh. The Grabie book was a nice addition to the box.. good for a fun afternoon with the kids.
Activity books are well and good buy literally just google some activities. You can also just get activity books on their own and separate supplies for much cheaper
The dog park near me puts giant umbrellas over the benches where the dogs human sit. All dog parks should do that so your not having ro sit in the sun or rain. I live in California so ours is probably more to keep the humans from having to sit exposed tonthe sun when its 110° f out. But people do take their dogs when its lightly raining. The people stay dry and the dogs enjoy splashing through the water with each other. Its fun to watch, but it makes me miss having a dog ....
In Australia the paint makers alone are $65aud that’s $45usd. Would I buy this box for $101aud +shipping to Australia no. The book is a personal choice I personally would prefer your book and it’s a lot more affordable. Thank you for another lovely video also when your dog started barking my dog stared to look for them 😅😂❤
Was the paint fabric paint by any chance? I would assume that it was meant for decorating the case? I probably wouldn't buy this box, I think that the things inside are much more affordable bought on their own, where you can choose a set that has the nibs, colours and finishes that you prefer (so brush nib metallic colours for example). It also means that you don't end up with a bunch of supplies that you don't like/use and end up either shoving in the back of a drawer forever or donating to younger relatives, friend's kids, local school/kids clubs/gp surgeries etc just so they don't go to waste. I used to get 'Artful' which is a quarterly box and although the supplies were great and it had a similar kind of book etc I never really use the supplies in there because most of the projects are bigger ones that need more time to learn and practice (I got a watercolour box, a lino printing box, a screen printing box and the coloured pencils box before cancelling) and the one I use most is the coloured pencils because I use that medium in loads of things like colouring books and my sketchbook etc. The rest are still sitting in their boxes waiting for "when I have the time to really work with it" 😂 The only subscription box I have now is the Scrawlrbox one. I did cancel for a few months because it felt like it was getting very same-y but actually missed the whole process of opening the box and testing whatever was inside so I started getting it again. Yes there is a fair amount of repetition, but there are only so many art supplies. I enjoy the fact that the Scrawlrbox is a smaller, self-contained experience itself, with a handful of art supplies, paper or other substrate and a print/featured artist to inspire you to try out a new technique or medium in a project that can be done in a small amount of time or longer if you have it and are enjoying the stuff you got. Once you're done you can either just add the supplies to your collection to be reused or donate to young relatives/friend's kids etc if you have a bunch of them already. It's not hugely expensive (I think around £20 now, it started around £15 but that was a few years ago) and on several occasions it has given me the opportunity to try out different mediums without buying a full set. That way, if I like it I can buy a bigger/more expensive/better quality set knowing I already enjoy it and am not wasting money.
You've never used up a paint marker?? I've gone through about 8 white Poscas since getting my first set in 2020 lmao. Then my favorite colors I'm on my 3rd or so marker.
I bought the Grabie markers because of you and I loved theemm but idk about the box yet. The carry case it’s cool and the activity book, but like it’s a bit on the expensive side hahahaha
I feel like these are all most likely White Label supplies so they had some other company or multiple other companies, possibly one that also makes a good name brand paint marker in particular, make these for them and Grabie puts their name on it. That means some of the cost came from customizing everything with their branding rather than getting supplies with other brands on them (like Posca.)
no would not pay 70.00$ for it markers look Kool I just got the Arrtx marker and I love them they are so joucy hope they make some fine tip ones though are the grabie Fine tip markers ?? the book looks fun for activities
Prices are just going up so much. Artsnacks did the same thing and even had to cancel one of their subscriptions. Too bad, I love that company and tried them because of you.
i'm so sorry but "it's time to get creative" (02:59) read in a british accent immediately gave me "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" flashbacks sakdjhakdsj like, i haven't even watched that thing in ages and i'm pretty sure that's not exactly how it goes but kajsdhkjadhkajdh 😅

I love your ASMR voice ❤❤❤❤ $70 is more than what I want to pay.
I love this!
The rest are still sitting in their boxes waiting for "when I have the time to really work with it" 😂
The only subscription box I have now is the Scrawlrbox one.
Do the papers fit in the clear pocket?
Art and hilarity! I’m glad I found your channel.
Glad to have you here!!
I don't think it's worth it. But I do love that stick you doodled on. It's pretty!
I love the twig. ❤😊
Those paint pens do look nice! =)
Chloe Rose: "Painting this stick is the weirdest thing i've painted on"
Also Chloe: *Forgets she painted on a toilet seat*
no would not pay 70.00$ for it markers look Kool I just got the Arrtx marker and I love them they are so joucy hope they make some fine tip ones though are the grabie Fine tip markers ?? the book looks fun for activities
Prices are just going up so much. Artsnacks did the same thing and even had to cancel one of their subscriptions. Too bad, I love that company and tried them because of you.
i'm so sorry but "it's time to get creative" (02:59) read in a british accent immediately gave me "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" flashbacks sakdjhakdsj
like, i haven't even watched that thing in ages and i'm pretty sure that's not exactly how it goes but kajsdhkjadhkajdh 😅
