The on-off feeling of the throttle is so accurate. The ZX6R is the same way. You go from having no power to suddenly being at like 15% power and then back to 0 if you let off the throttle. It makes it very sketchy to adjust the throttle at all in a turn because you might completely cut it off and then if you open the throttle a little it suddenly will jump forward instead of slowly accelerating again. My Yamaha's throttle felt much smoother and more linear.
@@Anonymous-jj9yu He put in new parts that boosted the performance of the bike, flashed the ecu and remapped the fueling to give the bike a lot more power than the stock zx10. He doesn’t restore the bikes to stock, he fixes them and mods them right off the bat.
@@airtylerb well we got our answer. Bike was supposed to keep all the stock power in check with stock credentials. But boosting them up and and adding better stuff probably won’t work anymore
@@Anonymous-jj9yu All he did to boost the engine performance was an intake upgrade (I think), exhaust upgrade, cat delete (I think), and a ecu flash with new fuel map and tune. It's a raw machine. I've become adjusted to twitchy throttle. Everything is manageable with time and experience.
I'm a fan of fairings on a bike, yes they can be a pain to deal with. But to me it looks great with fairings. My personal opinion I'm not into naked bikes, which alot of people are into them they like them handle fix them quicker than most. Naked bikes do and can look good, I'm just not a fan of it. But hey it's a new day we just need to get out there and ride.

It's probably because he is in Low power mode, which is not adjusted by the FTECU Graves flash. Still running stock ETV with 0% fueling at 0% throttle. Mine has same flash, and is smoother than stock in Full power mode.
That exhaust sounds REALLY good, nice build chase, I just bought a wr250x because of you, it's not even my first bike but its been a blast for the week I've had it
You can't turn it from 200hp to 50! At a certain point you have to remember that the air and fuel as well as spark timing have to be close in order to run... On a high compression bike like that if a cly misses it been be quite the jolt!
I understand with most of what you said. You can never say it has to much power. I’m sure Chase with your EFU flasher kit you can tune it back a little for the street. When you want to track it tune it to full neck break.
If the Graves tune for the ZX-10 is anything like the Graves tune for the R6, I believe that tune is setup for the track. I flashed my ‘17 R6 with with their tune after installing a full Graves exhaust and the bike was unrideable on the street. The throttle was either on or off just like you described. I flashed it back to stock and took the bike in for a dyno tune and it’s amazing now. You might try that and feel differently about the power delivery afterwards.
First thing i noticed: The bike has a clutch protector Horn on the left side of the handle bar. Better hope you never have someone run out into traffic, be course that will gut any living thing it hits...

of course it's got a lot of power... it's literally a superbike. smooth means you need to work the clutch. The turning radius thing? gotta lean against the bike. The EBR I have is similar. Turn that off, and you learn real quick how to feel what the bike's doing under you.

As much as I love my 2017 X10r chase it's the most uncomfortable sport bike I've ever experienced omg!!!!!!! I'm 6"2 270lbs so that has alot to do with it I'm sure but dude regardless of that there are quite a few people that agree it's very uncomfortable!! The zx14r or the Yamaha mt10 are looking very interesting to me right now! I can't bring myself to buy a Harley or a straight up cruiser yet I'm 39 yrs old I need to hold off getting old a little longer. That being said the zx10r is a beast and it's so fast especially when tuned !! Example look at what EJR performance is doing with those bikes! It's a race bike period and it really belongs at a track it's simply retarded to daily one of these bikes but hey, I'm doing and I love it!! I have to take a pain pill to ride it but whatever .. lol.
Meh, may be don't just open the throttle past the 6-7k on first gear then? Simply shift up. I ride a 06 R1 and that thing has no modes at all, just pure power from the throttle. It goes crazy at around 7-8k but I never have to push it that far unless I'm trying to go REALLY fast. Just switch the gears up my man. Also, the first gear does 180kmph. At around 8K I'm already going about 100kmph, I shouldn't be in the first gear at that point if I'm just on a highway.
the thing I dislike the most about the zx10.......is i dont have one lol

Why do you still have the bike? I thought it was done. Did the winner not want it?
As much as I love my 2017 X10r chase it's the most uncomfortable sport bike I've ever experienced omg!!!!!!! My hands go numb even after 15 minutes of riding sometimes and after an hour of riding my butt cheeks start burning so bad!!! LMAO. I'm not lying at all!! My back omg it starts killing me too!!
All bikes: tanks too small.
Yeah my zx12 has like a 5 gal... But it'll drink fast if you're riding fast
