Picking up a 2020 premium on Saturday with 7k miles on it. Pretty excited. I drive a 2018 Focus ST for work/commuting. Perfect combo in my humble opinion 😁
Struggled with that decision myself. But looking at the leaked photos the s650 is going to be too similar to the s550 to not justify the price or it'll be foxbody like in appearance, which isn't my style. A late model s550 made the most sense to me.
P1X Procharger on my 2020 PP1 10speed. It is like an exotic supercar now..not joking. 720whp. Never getting rid of it. Everyone I gave a ride in it has been blown away.
Hmm . . just checked my car and like yours, the driver side auto-unlock works fine but not the passenger side. I wonder if there's a setting that can be changed with FORscan.
Hey, thanks for a great review! Car looks solid. What about the chirping engine noise you've mentioned on your early videos? Is it gone now? Fixed? Have you figured out what makes that noise? My 2019 does exactly the same noise until warms up :(
@@CanadianCruisin Finally was able to fix that: replaced the A/C compressor pulley. I bet your noise is coming from one of serpentine belt or A/C belt pulleys. Sounds identical to mine. Sure, this is way less critical than the oil pressure issue. Hope you get your Mustang running soon!
You’re not alone. Been thinking along the same lines myself. I’ve got my Toyota Sequoia for foul weather use and road trips with the kids. The Mustang was supposed to be my daily driver but I usually use the Yoda, and worse yet I’ve been neglecting my Foxbodies. Thinking of selling the S-550, buying a Lexus for daily driving, and use the Yoda as intended with one of the Foxes for playtime. Probably be a bit before I actually DO something, but I’m thinking about it just as you are :)
Update… I sold the S550 back to the same Ford dealership I bought it from brand new. Despite the 3 years and 26,000 miles, they gave me what I paid for it new. Now I’ve got to sell some of those parts I’m no longer using ;)
I think you'll have regrets down the road if you get rid of it. I run across a lot of people in my travels that when they see my car they tell me they wish they had never gotten rid of theirs. Think long and hard before you do it.
Unless you need to sell for practicality purposes, Id say keep it for sure. The '18-'21 GTs are at the peak stock HP and the '22 already has 10 less HP. And that trend will most likely continue.
I want to buy a used 2020 gt 24k miles and want to daily drive it do you think it is reliable? Or is it like bmw cuz they always sitting at the dealer waiting for parts is mustang like that? Do you change a lot of spare parts or is just the normal maintenance such as tires and oil????
I'm in Australia same thing happened to me with the door lock passenger side. Its the car battery. When the battery isn't fully charged the car tries and save power and doesn't allow it.....I charged my battery and it fixed the problem.
Please help me guys. I have a 2019 mustang gt 10r80, anyways I'm having a very minute vibration(sounds like coming from the rear) after every shift, don't enjoy driving it when it feels like things aren't running quite right. Have less than 11k miles and Im clueless. Anyone ever have worn u joints this early? Any help is appreciated
If I was in the same predicament I would sell it since the market is insane right now and you can basically sell for around the price of a new one and I would just turn around and buy another Mustang, possibly the Mach 1 in the new Eruption Green color!!! I have the same car you have in the 21 model year minus the perf pk but with the black accent pk and I love it, no problems so far since buying it brand new 7 months ago. Only downside for me is everybody else also has a black Mustang and I like to stand out lol. I'm the same way with my car as far as keeping it in like new condition and not trashing it out like so many of my friends do with theirs lol.
Regarding selling it. Yes, it's a great time to do so, but don't forget about the flip-side. You will pay a premium buying whatever new car you want to buy...if you can even find it available. Point is, don't sell it just because the market's hot, because that's a moot point as it goes both ways. That only matters if it's just a toy that you are not replacing. This market has been crazy for sure, and I was able to take advantage of it as I had ordered a C8 about a year and a half ago @ agreed MSRP. Took a little over a year to come in and I immediately sold it for $20k profit. Then immediately put down payments/orders in on 2 Loaded Mach 1's, both w/handling pack, another C8, and a C8 Z06. I've cancelled the C8 down payment as my allocation came up and seems there's little to no profit to make on it anymore, but I'm keeping my C8 Z06 deposit, as that MIGHT be another real money maker. Or I might actually just keep it. Time will tell. In the meantime I'm driving an 800HP 2017 Mustang GT premium with a Whipple Gen 5, 3.0 Stg 2 SC among many other mods, and I LOVE the car. It only has 3,700 miles on it, is like new, comfortable, great amenities, looks great, sounds great, is really fast and a blast to drive. I'm also not paranoid about keeping it pristine if you know what I mean. No complaints. The S550's are fantastic cars IMO. Good luck whatever you decide.
The z06 should be an awesome ride whenever it shows up. I looked at ordering one up here but it would be almost a 3 year wait already unfortunately. I'll have to think about what to get before I sell for sure. Or just suck it up when the time comes and pay the extra for whatever it is
@@CanadianCruisin unless there's something you just gotta have I'd keep you mustang. It's a great car and you customized it nicely. Looks and sounds awesome. If you are just simply bored and want something different, consider a C8 if you have the money. It was awesome. Really makes you feel like you are in a 200k exotic. But you can't go wrong either way. What you already have is really sweet. Cheers.
@@kevinbreese5739 I'd love a c8. But where I they're already 200k unfortunately. Markups from the dealers are gross here since it's a limited supply of everything and too many people with deep pockets

That is weird. Unless it's in the setting somewhere like a child lock or something. But I've never touched any of it and it worked before

I get a rattle in the back seat. I gotta figure out why. Its so annoying

Have the dealership check the transmission fluid level a lot of the 10r 80s came one quart less than it was supposed to and can create sound.
