@@eddybassreacts Some time ago, I've tried to count the "Holy War" reactions on UA-cam, but I've stopped counting at 500! "Holy War" is often used as first encounter, it shows some of the skills of the LOVEBITES band. But I think, I've never heard someone say that this is their best or someone's favorite song. So fasten your seat belts, you ain't seen nothing yet, enjoy the ride, it's worth it! They have some 60 own songs, 3 very good covers, and some solo stuff, not one meh or bad song! Those have probably been cancelled in the production process (I have no other explanation!). This is the crème de la crème! Expect to be surprise almost every time with a new song. Every song has his own purpose and style, but they've also something in common. We don't know 3 of the 5 songs on the upcoming EP (August 28th, 2024), but from what we've heard, they are also awesome. You are right, this band is unreal, but I've seen them live in Europe!

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already recorded 4 full length studio albums, in addition some EPs and Singles and a bunch of live albums, available on CD and DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest. They will start their first US tour in a few weeks. In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. I am blown away.....yeah the usual reaction to the first (1st) LB experience especially with a LIVE performance. They are insanely talented and while petite women who wear their femininity proudly in gowns and heels they become metal goddesses on stage when they perform. Anything done by this band LIVE will likely surprise you but the Wolfpack (fanbase) guarantees you will NEVER be disappointed. Power, Speed, Thrash, Acoustic, Classical piano, ballet steps, they make epic songs or masterpieces and there is not a filler or dud in their song discography.

In Japan, the Beatles' concert in Japan about half a century ago triggered a band boom among young people. This trend has continued uninterrupted. Today, there are more than a hundred groups of female bands alone, and one of the top groups is LOVEBITES. They have consistently worn white feminine stage costumes since their inception. White was considered taboo in the Japanese metal scene as well, so there was a risk that they would not be accepted by others and become isolated, but they dared to choose the color “even if we are treated like lone wolves. We will do what we want to do” and chose this costume. They then made the wolf the symbol of the band. Their fans began calling themselves WolfPack.

Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world will be along to give you information and recommendations. Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in a band called Destrose that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects. Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the basist will be Miho, any from 2022 or later, it will be 'new girl' Fami. In this video it is original bassist and founder Miho. The present members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior' Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman. Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos. Fami, Bass. The 'new girl', recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was about 16. Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. I saw Lovebites live in London recently, and watched Haruna in awe. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. (yes, she uses a double kick pedal) All members of the band can play piano/keyboards. They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023. Japan is full to the brim with musicians like this Brother male female doesn't matter , they are musicians . instruments do not care what sex the player is . take some time and look into all the great bands that are coming out of Japan LOVEBITES is definitely a great starting point though . since bass is your main instrument look into the Band "Gacharic Spin " F.Chopper Koga is the bassist for that band and she is widely considered one of the best bassist in the world right now the official music video for Gacharic Spin's song "Mindset" will blow your mind there are so many great bands in Japan LOVEBITES and Gacharic Spin just happen to be two of my personal favorites .

The bassist in this video, Miho, left the band in August 2021 after which the band announced an open audition (anyone, anywhere in the world) for a replacement. They released a short documentary on the process and on October 21 2022 selected a bassist going by the name Fami (stage name). You could be Fami! 🤣 Seriously, several hundred bassists from many different ages, countries, genders, sent in bass lines as a probe, many of them invited for an audition, 3 rounds of checking these musicians, it started in February 2022 IIRC, and as was already written, Fami joined (officially) in October 2022, the digest video is really nice to watch! They've played "Bravehearted" in the studio and two OMV together (from "Judgement Day" album), but the real challenge was the above first live performance in front of a packed audience after 2 years hiatus, and singer Asami shouting "WE ARE BAAAACK !!!" at the beginning. It was almost 20 songs, 2 days each with different setlists (5 changed) in March 2023, both days recorded with great quality and released as 2CD/DVD/Blu-ray each (August 23rd, 2023, and December 20th, 2023), but "The Hammer Of Wrath" was the first full live song together. It's almost 2 years ago now, and we've seen Fami live in Japan, Europe (UK + EU), Korea, and next week in Tokyo (big venue) and then shortly in the US (Atlanta, Dallas, LA, SF), she was an awesome pick and really more than fits into the band! Miho and Fami are both really good, and Fami was there when she was needed. She had a channel with almost 700 K followers on UA-cam, and was thinking about doing something else, if not for the LOVEBITES audition. So Fami saved LOVEBITES, and LOVEBITES saved Fami's career as a bassist...

Let me give you some suggestions on other Lovebites songs: "Soldier stands solitarily" (LIVE 2023), the most powerful, fast and brilliant performance of the band "Break the wall" (LIVE 2020), the most brutal thrash/speed metal song of the band "Judgment day" OMV 2023, title-track of the latest album, epic power metal with insane guitar solos "Stand and deliver" OMV 2023, funny song that shows a different side of the band "Shadowmaker" OMV 2017, the first great success of the band, with wonderful guitar solos "We are the resurrection" (LIVE 2023, released a few weeks ago on their channel), memorable epic and fast power metal "Soul defender" OMV 2024, the latest song published a few days ago. "Frozen serenade" (LIVE 2021), emotional power ballad that shows the multi-instrumental skills of the band. "Edge of the world" (LIVE 2020), another superb ballad with an intense guitar solo by Miyako "The nameless warrior" (LIVE 2023), guitarists unleashed! "The liar" (LIVE 2023), epic singing with drums in great evidence "Unchained" OMV 2024, one of the latest release of the band "Scream for me" (LIVE 2019) 14 guitar solos!!! "When destinies allign" OMV 2020, with crazy guitar solos and double guitar solo "The crusade" OMV 2017, a tribute to Iron Maiden "Painkiller" only audio, cover of Judas Priest These are just examples to begin, the Lovebites discography containes about 60 songs, and there isn't a bad song.
Nice summary of some of LOVEBITES' besties. Some of them minimally misspelled, but you'll find them anyways (Judgement Day, Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down), A Frozen Serenade, Nameless Warrior, Liar) - just minor differences! I definitely miss "Swan Song (with Chopin intro)" (live 2020) and "Epilogue" (live 2019 IIRC), slower song, but now I see, there are some more missing: "Glory To The World" (uplifting like "Rising" (live 2023), both have an OMV), "Winds Of Transylvania" (live or OMV used for Anime series), "Hammer Of Wrath" (live 2023) pure Thrash Metal, "Eagle Fly Free" (studio live 2020) another cover from Helloween. I'll have to stop here, because it never ends! Remember: No bad song yet! And don't forget early songs like "Don't Bite The Dust" (OMV 2017 or live), this song especially with regard to "Unchained", which is reminiscent of that song! For some 80s fun, have "Spellbound" (live), for an anthem "We The United" (live 2019/20 or live 2023). I should really stop here! For seeing Miyako playing guitar and keyboard at the same time for a while, watch "Burdon Of Time" live. You know what? Take any song, and explore, what's great about that one!

"Holy War" is often used as first encounter, it shows some of the skills of the LOVEBITES band. But I think, I've never heard someone say that this is their best or someone's favorite song. So fasten your seat belts, you ain't seen nothing yet, enjoy the ride, it's worth it! They have some 60 own songs, 3 very good covers, and some solo stuff, not one meh or bad song! Those have probably been cancelled in the production process (I have no other explanation!). This is the crème de la crème! Expect to be surprise almost every time with a new song. Every song has his own purpose and style, but they've also something in common.
We don't know 3 of the 5 songs on the upcoming EP (August 28th, 2024), but from what we've heard, they are also awesome. You are right, this band is unreal, but I've seen them live in Europe!

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already recorded 4 full length studio albums, in addition some EPs and Singles and a bunch of live albums, available on CD and DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They will start their first US tour in a few weeks.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“.
A new EP and a live album will be released on august 28. There are already some videos on their UA-cam channel.

She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer

She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop

I am blown away.....yeah the usual reaction to the first (1st) LB experience especially with a LIVE performance. They are insanely talented and while petite women who wear their femininity proudly in gowns and heels they become metal goddesses on stage when they perform. Anything done by this band LIVE will likely surprise you but the Wolfpack (fanbase) guarantees you will NEVER be disappointed. Power, Speed, Thrash, Acoustic, Classical piano, ballet steps, they make epic songs or masterpieces and there is not a filler or dud in their song discography.

In Japan, the Beatles' concert in Japan about half a century ago triggered a band boom among young people. This trend has continued uninterrupted.
Today, there are more than a hundred groups of female bands alone, and one of the top groups is LOVEBITES.
They have consistently worn white feminine stage costumes since their inception. White was considered taboo in the Japanese metal scene as well, so there was a risk that they would not be accepted by others and become isolated, but they dared to choose the color “even if we are treated like lone wolves. We will do what we want to do” and chose this costume. They then made the wolf the symbol of the band. Their fans began calling themselves WolfPack.

Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world will be along to give you information and recommendations.
Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in a band called Destrose that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the basist will be Miho, any from 2022 or later, it will be 'new girl' Fami.
In this video it is original bassist and founder Miho.
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'
Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bass. The 'new girl', recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was about 16.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. I saw Lovebites live in London recently, and watched Haruna in awe. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. (yes, she uses a double kick pedal)
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.

Japan is full to the brim with musicians like this Brother male female doesn't matter , they are musicians . instruments do not care what sex the player is . take some time and look into all the great bands that are coming out of Japan LOVEBITES is definitely a great starting point though . since bass is your main instrument look into the Band "Gacharic Spin " F.Chopper Koga is the bassist for that band and she is widely considered one of the best bassist in the world right now the official music video for Gacharic Spin's song "Mindset" will blow your mind there are so many great bands in Japan LOVEBITES and Gacharic Spin just happen to be two of my personal favorites .

You could be Fami! 🤣 Seriously, several hundred bassists from many different ages, countries, genders, sent in bass lines as a probe, many of them invited for an audition, 3 rounds of checking these musicians, it started in February 2022 IIRC, and as was already written, Fami joined (officially) in October 2022, the digest video is really nice to watch! They've played "Bravehearted" in the studio and two OMV together (from "Judgement Day" album), but the real challenge was the above first live performance in front of a packed audience after 2 years hiatus, and singer Asami shouting "WE ARE BAAAACK !!!" at the beginning. It was almost 20 songs, 2 days each with different setlists (5 changed) in March 2023, both days recorded with great quality and released as 2CD/DVD/Blu-ray each (August 23rd, 2023, and December 20th, 2023), but "The Hammer Of Wrath" was the first full live song together.
It's almost 2 years ago now, and we've seen Fami live in Japan, Europe (UK + EU), Korea, and next week in Tokyo (big venue) and then shortly in the US (Atlanta, Dallas, LA, SF), she was an awesome pick and really more than fits into the band! Miho and Fami are both really good, and Fami was there when she was needed. She had a channel with almost 700 K followers on UA-cam, and was thinking about doing something else, if not for the LOVEBITES audition. So Fami saved LOVEBITES, and LOVEBITES saved Fami's career as a bassist...

Nice summary of some of LOVEBITES' besties. Some of them minimally misspelled, but you'll find them anyways (Judgement Day, Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down), A Frozen Serenade, Nameless Warrior, Liar) - just minor differences!
I definitely miss "Swan Song (with Chopin intro)" (live 2020) and "Epilogue" (live 2019 IIRC), slower song,
but now I see, there are some more missing: "Glory To The World" (uplifting like "Rising" (live 2023), both have an OMV), "Winds Of Transylvania" (live or OMV used for Anime series), "Hammer Of Wrath" (live 2023) pure Thrash Metal, "Eagle Fly Free" (studio live 2020) another cover from Helloween. I'll have to stop here, because it never ends! Remember: No bad song yet!
And don't forget early songs like "Don't Bite The Dust" (OMV 2017 or live), this song especially with regard to "Unchained", which is reminiscent of that song! For some 80s fun, have "Spellbound" (live), for an anthem "We The United" (live 2019/20 or live 2023). I should really stop here! For seeing Miyako playing guitar and keyboard at the same time for a while, watch "Burdon Of Time" live. You know what? Take any song, and explore, what's great about that one!
