One of the things that really helped my own painting was learning how to slow down. I always want things to be quick and sometimes I forget that painting is supposed to be the fun part. The whole purpose should be to enjoy the journey not just try get to the end of a painting as quickly as possible. Just like when I play guitar. I play to enjoy playing not just to reach the end of a song
Your videos are very helpful. I'm a beginner in oil painting and was a bit lost, but I'm learning some very useful techniques by watching you paint. Keep doing this good job. Thank you very much, hugs from Portugal!
The lesson is very helpful. I like also comment that the painting should not be quick and details make the painting more rich and beautiful. Thank you very much!
