Happy to see you posting again after your daughter’s birth. I can imagine this would be super stressful but you can take the time you need. Congratulations on becoming a mother Tina!!!! From NZ 🇳🇿🥹😜😘
hi, tina! here's a similar recipe to make your chocolate truffles: 395g of condensed milk 15g of butter 60g of cocoa powder (you can put as much as you like, i always put 3 to 4 spoons) you can mix it all together in a pot over low heat until you see the bottom of the pot, and let it chill for at least 1 hour. then, you can shape into balls or little squares like you did :) here in brasil we call it brigadeiro, it's a very common recipe! doing like this won't make it sticky and it's soooo delicious! hope you like it
i was looking for this comment so i wouldn't have to type it myself lol wish more people knew that these "chocolate truffles" they keep doing could be so much better
Welcome back Tina!!! For the mochi you should add some neutral cooking oil to the surface of the mochi and your hands and it makes a lot of difference in the stickiness
Hey Tina, I tried a similar recipe with cocoa powder and condensed milk. If you want to make it not sticky, you should add some finely crushed biscuit into it. That helps a lot. You'll need a little more condensed milk but it tastes fantastic! ❤️
@@tina_yong there’s actually a better way to make truffles that i’ve done for a very long time but is also very simple! just heat up heavy whipping cream and pour it into chocolate chips. Then whisk it, and let it set overnight. It will be the perfect texture (if you get the ratio right, which might take a while, or you could just look it up!) After that, just shape it and put cocoa powder or sprinkles on it like the video does. personally I think coconut flakes also taste quite good :p
Tinaaa is one of the best content creator everrrr!!!!! Your videos feels so real and fun❤❤ Parenting is difficult and you are still taking out time for us.. which shows how dedicated you are🥺💕 n baby lyla is the cutest little human 🧿😍
I haven’t been a nanny for years and my kids are now 24 and 25, I miss the smell of a baby & those cute little cuddles & the faces they make and how they grab your finger oh my, I just want to hold her. So so cute!
For the chocolate truffles I usually boil it on a stove with the cocoa powder in the condensed milk until the mixture is thick. But the microwave way seems easier. The cocoa powder is very bitter and I don't like that part which is why I usually use coconut powder instead of cocoa powder to coat the truffles
one of my fave 2 ingredients recipes is equal parts sugar and peanut butter. mix into dough. roll into balls. you can stop here for truffles but if you bake them you get super easy peanut butter cookies. plus it seems everyone's got their own version. some people put an egg in instead of sugar, some people use syrup or honey. it's a great treat when you just don't have much around the house.
Omg!!! The bebe!!😭 I've been staying off of YT and tiktok until I finished stranger things (yk no spoilers) so I haven't seen the baby yet! She's beautiful 😍 ❤
the truffle recipe has been always so funny to me because actually truffles are also two ingredients technically... chocolate and heavy cream then you coat it in whatever you want haha
Welcome back!!! So… the first one is almost a brazilian brigadeiro! It’s good to eat when you crave for some chocolate or sweets, and it’s great if eaten while hot with a spoon!
The fudge you made is very similar to a sweet that my mum makes during the holidays. Only difference is she also melts some milk chocolate as well and then pours it over the peanut butter fudge and swirls it together a bit before hardening.
I enjoyed the video and oh my goodness she's adorable!! ♥️ I've got two nieces so when you called us auntie's and uncle's it hit my little auntie heart. 🥺
For the truffles it’s better to use maple syrup and cocoa powder trust me it’s way better, healthier, and way less sticky/easier to form into balls, then when your done coat them in chocolate and it’s on point👌🏻 plus u don’t have to freeze them at all bc they don’t stick to your hands
That mochi making session tho. 😂 you guys were panicked and I was panicking along the side as well. Too watery from the beginning. If you add more flour it'll be alright
Brazilians have been making "chocolate truffles" for decades (but a more elaborate version), we call it "Brigadeiro" and it's a classic in Brazilian sweets called "docinhos". We usually have them at birthday parties, along with many other different types of docinhos, like white ones with coconut, some with peanuts, and many many more. If you ever get the chance, go to a Brazilian bday party. It's literally heaven for your tastebuds lmao
I've been watching you for years and it's crazy how I stopped for a few months because of school only to return to you having a daughter, congratulations ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Tina, I know they were 2 items recipes, but I suggest that next time instead of making this "Chocolate Truffles", try making Brigadeiro (it's a common Brazilian delicacy), what changes is that you will add a little bit of butter, use less cocoa and more condensed milk. It won't be stick and it will be delicious!
That was amazing! The snacks look delicious and the vibe of the video is very nice. I'd love to see some more of food series, I feel like it'd be interesting to try vegan recipes 😄
Btw to avoid burning your hands when you're kneading something hot, you can put on cotton or other woven or knit gloves, and then food-handling gloves over top
Your baby girl is so cute 😍 I love how you spelled her name. My youngest nephew just turned 10 months old today, so I totally feel you on how quicks babies are growing 😂
Omgggggg Tina l just have to say it Baby looks like ALFRED lol she is so darn cute and such a peaceful soul..wow ..u will have one very empathy filled wonderful little pettle ..
First time I'm so early 😭 Btw Tina you are the best content creator always making sure your followers are well feed with your videos thank you so much for your hard work💜
Whenever I see you with your family it just makes me sooo happy. Its just a perfect family that I wish to have and it makes me believe in my father and mother even more. I wish you and your loved ones stay happy and healthy always.✨ Love you soooo much. Keep growing and take care.❤️✨❤️
wait at 18:30 for the 2-ingredient fudge one he said no sugar and no butter but doesn't peanut butter have sugar and butter in it??.......lol unless he's using a healthy version of peanut butter but he doesn't show which kind he used haha
These videos are honestly so nice! I can never learn how to cook from TikTok videos so seeing you create them and use your own ability/skills/effort to adjust them is so helpful! I never really cook because I'm worried about wasting ingredients and whenever I tried to experiment the flavor never turned out good but I'll definitely try making the fudge and I'll attempt some of the pasta recipes from past videos!
i always ALWAYS think i cannot possibly sit through 20 minutes but i always end up at the end of all of your videos wondering why they arent longer.... i SWEAR, you are the FUNNIEST!

Why do you have to be sooo..... cute 😍

She is so adorable and cute☺️❤️❤️
I’m glad you let your assistant try the recipes and participate actively in these videos! She’s super cute and seems nice :)
I’m pretty sure she’s her friend and sister in law
She really makes this video :)

should the condensed milk be sweetened or unsweetened?
@@ev6236 definitely sweetened!
yes I was looking for this too! the butter really cuts the sticky/chewiness and they are so much better and richer.
oooooo tysm for this! 🫶🏽

I did try that but it didn’t help 🙈

You looked so nice in that denim shirt! I love these videos, and even more now we have a cute little Lyla bean making appearances 🎀
You can also make 2 ingredient fudge by microwaving icing and pb together then pouring it into a pan and letting it set up.
I love it when Tina makes TikTok recipes 😂...I need more of these episodes
I just can't believe that Tina is a mom already!!! I just know she will be such a wonderful mother!!!❤❤
TIP For The Donuts!: You have to knead them a lot! if you don't knead them enough they become dense and not at all fluffy like they should be.
I really enjoy this video and also the part where you and your cute assistant smack the mochi process... It's silly but it's fun and funny 🤣🤣
I'm so happy I'm going to see Lyla grow up. Time really flies.
