Hey Daniel, awesome machine and awesome videos. Thanks for supporting the community! One question: I'm starting with 5/8” thick MDF, but I can't find how much to plunge out so the joystick mounting plate sits at the right depth. How much material are you taking out there? Appreciate the help.
For the love of God make these as one part this is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. You can’t slide the joystick part on it’s too small I guess that’s why you did a jump cut anyway please make these in a combined complete kit that would be awesome
Sorry for the bad grammar I was using speech to text. I found out if the bolt won’t slide down on the shaft try drilling it out with a 23/64 bit (was in my set) and it slides on perfectly 1 was he’s to get on 2 was impossible without that drill 3 just slid right on and the 4th one I had to drill again.
@thedanielspies do these shafts have any issues with the RGB wires breaking due to the joystick shaft rotating/spinning? I have seen other solutions where a slip ring is attached to the wires to allow them to spin. Is the 3.5mm audio connector free spinning?
Have you ever installed 4 servo sticks, i have a panel kind of like yours (I mean its different, but similar control setup) i currently just have one servo on player 1, but i would like them all to be the same, I dont know if theres any concerns for 3 or 4 player which are angled or anything else, just curious if you ever did 4?
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades Thanks for the response, out of curiosity did they say why it's not recommended? I ended up just ordering one additional for player 2, but I wont add them to 3 and 4 if it's not a good idea. Was just curious for bomberman.
This machine is awesome !

Hi, I am using slightly thicker MDF (19mm) and take out 8 or 9 mm. Thanks D
Thanks for the videos! Are these LED shafts compatible with Sanwa JL joysticks?
Nope :-)
yo i just supported u

Hi, Yes the bolts are really tight indeed. I would love to see complete sets made bu Ultimarc too :-) I will send them an email. Thanks!
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades I know you didn’t make them I apologize, just wa a frustrated that day and speaking in general.
@@jeffosoft No worries, thanks for the input. I agree with you in this!
Great videos! Do you know if the LED Balltop works with the 12 way rotary?
Hmm I don't think so. I see that that shaft has a different end. You could ask Andy Warne this question to be sure... Thanks D
Are you able to put a different top on without damaging the LED?
No you can’t 😅

Hi Aaron, Yes there is no way the cable will break on you. The RGB cable is attached to a 3,5mm female jack port that can rotate freely.

Hi, Ultimarc says that 4 is not recommended/possible. I only did two servo setups..

cool but how do we install the keyboard you have?
I don’t use a keyboard. Only for setting things up ⌨️
Man, can't find these anywhere now
There are in stock at the Ultimarc website :-)
Will these work with Sanwa JLW-TM-8 sticks?
No only J-Stik by Ultimarc
Dumb question: How do i know which side it the top/up for the joystick?
That is not a dumb question at all, it does not matter, you choose that with your wiring in these sticks. So any orientation will be good 👍🏼
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades Thanks again 🙏
how is it wired? how are the colors selected?
It uses Ledblinky software
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades I have since bought the gold leaf and handles and upgraded from the 2 to the ultimate, man it looks awesome!
What size is the monitor/tv ?
32" monitor, thanks D
If there anyone making cabinets for ultimarc parts?
Hi, I do make CAD designs and commission builds so now and then. You can email me for more info :-)
