I come from a poor family and am around the point where I am looking into abroad and colleges in Europe. I had Copenhagen on my list of a possibility I would maybe like. Thank you for being honest about pricing and the fact that you are not paying for college on your own. I have been trying to pinpoint realistic options of were I can go even with scholarships and student loans because I don't have anyone or money to fall back on if I can't support myself. I feel like a lot of people tell lies about how cheap it will be in European countries. I just really don't want to screw myself over with moving somewhere for college and not being able to afford basic living. Thank you for your honesty again I love the videos
You could check Eastern European cities :) that way you’re still close to Western European countries to do some trips but your living expenses will be a lot cheaper! Maybe check for Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, Krakow,.. they are cool cities even though they aren’t well known to tourists:)
Hi! I am and was in the same position as you, but I found a university in Lodz, Poland, and while researching for pricing and student housing I found out it was really cheap compared with other European countries, I am from Mexico. So I recommend you look for universities at Poland :)
I appreciate your honesty about feelings, finances, being overwhelmed, etc. so much!! Many other content creators i follow make me feel like I'm doing something wrong encountering these issues living abroad ❤
Just for some context, Portugal and Spain are cheaper than Nordic countries, but for the natives, rents are becoming more unbearable as time goes on, given our very low wages. Thank you Eva for always speaking with transparency and honesty.
i love travelling so much it gives me energy like nothing else does!! i'd love to study abroad but my anxiety is so bad i'm scared of losing it mid trip 😵💫 thanks for your videoo
I’m about to come back from studying abroad in Florence Italy! It has been an amazing experience and it’s a cheaper city/country for those wanting a cheaper experience. I’ve learned so much studying abroad and seeing other cultures and making new friends. I recommend it for everyone!
i studied abroad in barcelona this summer and it was the best decision of my life. my mom studied in china and learned a bit of mandarin so i was inspired by her 🤍🤍 we also went to amalfi and mykonos after my program ended. this video made me miss it so much. happy holidays :)
it was so cool and interesting to listening eva talking about her study abroad experience! TYSM EVA! it was really helpful for us to hear you talking about this :))
McGill student life is truly so much fun. The city is pretty small (compared to nyc) so i feel like you’ll feel more immersed by the end, the night life is sooo fun and accessible, there are always parties in the student area, and campus is gorgeous. Not to mention Mtl has great food and museums!! I’d highly recommend
Hey! I'm actually going on exchange to UofCopenhagen next year from UBC! I was planning on taking 3 classes first semester, 4 classes second semester... do you think that is too much?

maybe look at cities like Budapest and not Scandinavian countries since those tend to be more expensive :)
