Mick Mars wasnt especially known for solos but hes got one of the hardest tones and his riffs are always heavy. I consider him the most essential member of Motley Crue
This is from their autobiography "The Dirt" .Clips from their movie & old clips of them is when they were doing club gigs. Motley's debut album "Too Fast For Love" 1981
Every time you do a Motely Crue reaction, I always leave a comment saying you should cover the songs on their first album... and here we are. I am so glad you got to this one. would love to see more reactions from this album.
Haha, when I was a kid and everyone made fun of each other's mom, this came out and my buddy was like, take me to your mom, take me to your mom...I will forever hear it like that!!! Good times!!
Go ahead and admit it: You're jealous you didn't grow up in the 80's with us Gen X'ers. We had the BEST music, the BEST movies! We had MTV when they actually showed music videos and most every genre was accepted and embraced. I've seen the Crue live probably 10 times and they always brought it. One of my fave bands.
Mick Mars is the single most underrated guitarist of the 80s. I say this as a massive fan of Mötley Crüe, but they should hang up their instruments now he’s gone.
This was from the original Crue album, "Too Fast for Love", the first printing of which was largely self-financed on the Leathür Records label. A friend of mine had one (only a few thousand were printed and became valuable to collectors) but someone stole it from him at one of his parties. Turned out to be worth about $2K at that time, which was in the 1980's!
GREAT SONG! And perfect video topic for this song. It actually has a mix of Motley Crue and the actors who played them in the movie “the dirt”. (Which is a must see). U see machine gun Kelly on drums as Tommy Lee and Ramsey Bolton lol as mick mars playing guitar. U also see the real Tommy Lee and Nikki sixx at the end of the video watching the actors jam to their song. Amazing.
Notice you still haven't done "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" HUGE hit!!! ,,,,but sure glad you guys have gone in depth with their 1st album here! They were all of 19 yrs old here in 1981
Amber and Jay yesterday you were talking about Outlaw country but you've only done one video of one of the biggest Outlaw country singers there is Hank Williams Junior I'd love to see some more Hank Junior on the channel !
Another glam metal band also formed out of the L.A. area is Dokken founded in 1978 three years before Motley Crew was formed. If you find the time, since you both like live videos of artists, check out Dokken's "Kiss of Death" performed live at a concert in Philadelphia back in 1987. At any rate, "Kiss of Death" is smokin' hot and a banger. 💫🎤🎸🥁🔊⚡🔥🎧
Rob. Squad's NEXT Crüe songs to hit!: "Come On And Dance"' 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥; "Piece Of Your Action"'; "Too Fast For Love"'; "Merry-Go-'round" and 3rd album banger-of-note: "City Boy Blues" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ⚡ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🤘🤘
Classic Crue and kick ass tune! So many great songs in their catalog. Young and just flipping the finger to the world. Yes, they are trouble - sex, drugs, rock n roll. They were the epitome of debauchery in the 80's. This is off their debut album TOO FAST FOR LOVE in 1981. I find it hard to believe it was so long ago. Feels like it was yesterday I was plugging my headphones into my stereo system, dropping the needle down on my LP, sitting on the floor against my bed in the bedroom of my parents house listening to this album and looking at the album cover and reading the liner notes.
@@shelbyseelbach9568 He is underrated it's a fact . He's never mentioned in the greatest rock guitarist list . Or was rated highly in past rock magazines . He's been underrated his whole career in the industry .
Well this was fun, always good to get back to them. From Pearl Jam, I suggest "Even Flow" "Better Man" "Nothingman" "Black" "Jeremy" "Yellow Ledbetter" "Daughter" "Last Kiss" "Sirens" "Once" "I Am Mine" "Oceans" "Porch" "State Of Love And Trust" I do suggest you reacting to their MTV Unplugged live performances of their hits. Thanks!
SHINEDOWN , SKILLET , HINDER , BUCKCHERRY , PAPA ROACH But I DEFINITELY love me some early MOTLEY CRUE this is about as early as you can get RIGHT HERE 🔥⚡🎯💯💥💨🤟🏼💪🏼
I have a great suggestion and it's a song dedicated to a great friend of theirs who passed away and the Group is called Avenged Sevenfold " So Far Away ". So emotional but soo good to hear...
Now you gettin into the best Crue, I love their earlier stuff! Haha I cant believe you almost described me to a T as I was in the Hi Skool 1980-1984 including having a '78 black/gold Ttop Trans Am jammin Motley Crue with my mullet blowing in the wind with the tops out ✌💖☮
The year was 1981. The footage you were seeing is one of their first performances shortly after they formed. Also, the additional footage are actors portraying them in their biographical film/book: The Dirt
My 6yo has been a massive Motley Crue fan since he was 4. His favourite is Girls, Girls, Girls, and I often catch him rocking away to it, singing along whilst playing with his Lego.
I'm glad you liked this one! Jay was right, this is from their first album in 1981. It's when they were the most punk and the most raw. They were coming up playing bars and clubs. This is one of my favorites from that album. "Live Wire," which you already reacted to, is also from it. The name of the album is "Too Fast for Love" and the cover is an "update" of the Rolling Stones iconic "Sticky Fingers" album cover that was done by Andy Warhol.
Too funny you said driving in your Camaro listening to this! That’s exactly what I was doing in 1988 having just got my license and my dad and I had just finished restoring my 73’ Z28. I have such found memories of “Too Fast for Love”, “Shout at the Devil”, “Theater of Pain” and “Girls, Girls, Girls” and driving that car.
I met these cats when I was 13yrs old...'84... At an in-store meet and greet when they were opening for Ozzy on his 'Bark at the Moon' tour... I ain't been the same since. 🤘😜🤘 Rock and Roll can and will change your life. ❤️ Now you must react to 'The Dirt' (it's their autobiography that was made into a movie) on your movie channel... Please.
Enjoyed the reaction. Great as always. New music: 1. "Hanging By A Moment" by Lifehouse/2000 2. "Over My Head (Cable Car)" by The Fray/2005 3. "Hold On" by En Vogue/1990 4. "Can You Stand The Rain" by New Edition/1988 5. "Start of A Romance" by Skyy/1989
I remember when this album (Too Fast For Love) came out in 1981. I was in 8th grade and sold on the CRUE after hearing this album. Then when Shout At The Devil came out, FUHGETABOUTIT! I was all in! Yeah, they was just kids then. Love it! If you guys haven't seen The Dirt, you really owe yourself. Just don't let the kiddos watch it! 😧
It can't be emphasized enough as to how raw and in your face was when it was released. I heard this album shortly after they released Shout at the Devil. This was the heaviest, hardest thing I had ever heard at this point.
W.A.S.P. another glam metal band formed out of the L.A. area back in 1982 a year after Motley Crew was founded are worth checking out. "Wild Child" released from 1986 is fire by W.A.S.P. 🔍🔎🎤🎸🥁🔊⚡🔥🎧

Great tune...Great Album!!!!!! Too Fast For Love all bangers on there along with Shout at the Devil. Bought them both the day they came out and still have them on vinyl in my closet \m/
Great reaction. It's fun and interesting to see the bands grow and develop. Most reactors get the latest hits and miss out on the early stuff when bands were full of P and V. First albums are the best. They had their whole life to write it!
Some of these clips are from the movie "The Dirt", which covers from when Tommy and Nikki met to the band's reunion. If you haven't seen it, "The Dirt" would be a really good pick for the movie reaction channel. You will love it, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly plays Tommy Lee!
ROB SQUAD, that's very unfortunate that you are not able to keep the Pearl Jam reactions up!!😮 Perhaps you should try again because I see other channels posting Pearl Jam, especially the MTV unplugged version of a couple of songs, without any issues!! I would really love to see you guys reaction to the unplugged version of "Black"!! At least a dozen or so other channels have done that song without it being taken down so I don't know why they would take down such a popular channel as yours video and let other channels post the same content!! Please give it another try!!❤❤
OZZIE OSBORNE - " No More Tears " (Official Video) BASS LINE intro leads into Heavy Hitting Drums. Guitar is Super Heavy Metal Rock. 1990s Ozzie ROCKS!! Not a Soft song at all, don't let the title trick you this song's sound is HEAVY!!

Their first two albums are just fire
🤘🔥🤘
Shout is my favorite Crue album! Pure fire.
The rest of their albums are trash
@@MrChumpus They were all pretty good albums up to and including Dr Feelgood. Went downhill from there
@@MrChumpus Feelgood is fire too. The rest are spotty but with good moments.
Too Fast For Love and Shout At The Devil are masterwork albums.
The best things Motley Crue EVER did.
Absolutely. The only two albums that are decent.
Amen.
Their first album is so raw and awesome!!!!

A few more to check out..."On with the Show" "Too Fast for Love" "Red Hot" and "Danger". Their first two albums were amazing!!!
I think Amber would like Starry Eyes.
As a Crue fan from when they first came onto the scene, their first two albums are by far my favorites.
Jay would love this whole album!!
Merry Go Round is an awesome Song.
This whole Album is amazing!
Only the original demo of this lp, they themselves released is better. Then the record co. Got ahold of it
In my opinion it's there Best!!!
It's a very garage rock early days of glam. It is one of my all time favorite albums from the 80s.
This album sounds like it was recorded in a giant coffee can with a one-track tape....and it's AWESOME
Easily: their BEST! 🤘🤘⚡
This was a song off their first album from 1981. This is raw and in your face
The real Motley!!!!
That first album almost had a punk rock feel. Loved it.
lol not even a little bit
Too Fast For Love was such a raw record!! Really made Mötley Crüe a household name!! 🤟🏽

I'm not sorry, Motley Crue's first Album is my favorite. Unpolished and Raw.
If I'm not mistaken, the video for this song was part of a collection of videos that Motley Crue sent to record companies, trying to get signed.
