Hi Full Throttle Hog, just wanted to thank you, ordered the Bagger Daddy T and the coffee mug, loved them both, thank you again for all you do for the Motorcycle community, Always Speed Safe & Be Blessed, Aloha, Kenneth 🤙🏽
I agree 100%. I did that on my bike. I do not like my bars too far forward. I also like to lean back a little. Then I get really good lower back support from my seat.
Regarding that ignition collar - It's expensive when bought at HD. However the better made one (tab locks in better and is a little stiffer) can be purchased from HR3Baggers for less than $20. Go ahead and get one now. For anyone that does work on their bike, that HD one will break sooner or later.
I really appreciate this video. I'm 6'3 and wondering about 12 or 14" KST. I guess if I roll the bars back they appear less hi and sit more behind the fairing? I'm not so keen on the high ape hanger look but i think the 14s will give the most comfort if rolled back. I'm in UK riding a RGL and the stad bars are 11" so not really worth going to 12s Any thoughts please?
That is pretty much how I set up my bars. Because I have the extended reach seat, I moved the 14inch Apes back. They sit about 12" high now (With roll back) but extremely comfortable.
I'm about to get a Road Glide 3 and the dealer said it would take 8-10 hours to install new bars is that true? Also, I'm 6' and wondering if 12 or 14" would be best.
If you’re trying to get your bars more forward rather than backwards, don’t waste your time with this. This only works for pulling your bars closer to you. I did this and it wouldn’t adjust the bars more forward

Great video Ryan! I've been considering this for some time. Funny, I had my tank off yesterday; I should've adjusted the bars then.
Thax for sharing very helpful...

This video would have been a lot more helpful if it showed more of the actual work and less of the guy just riding around.
