I have to wonder if it's true that all the young people vaping, rather than smoking, isn't better then the way it has been for the past century. If teens (when almost every smoker I've ever known started) are taking something up just because all the cool kids are doing, wouldn't they have started smoking cigarettes anyway? When you want to fit in with your friends along with that added benefit of a dopamine rush, then you are destined to be one of the people who wind up with addiction to nicotine anyway.
I would honestly prefer adolescents all take up vaping instead of smoking cigarettes. The fact that vapes are becoming more cool than cigarettes is a good thing. It would be helpful if "they" ever did actual research into why people start smoking in the first place. Teaching kids not to start smoking has worked just as well as abstinence-only sex education has. At most it delays the inevitable for a few years. Addiction is as much a part of human nature as sex is. Wanting to be seen as cool or hang with the cool kids is part of human nature, too. IMO Vaping should be the condoms of smoking.
***** A lot of kids in my school vape, and nobody smokes cigs anymore. People don't like smokers here because of the way they smell. Vape doesn't have any pungent smell, plus it's a lot cleaner with no ashes etc. Anything going into your lungs is harmful, but it's definitely better than the chemicals in a cig.

All I know is my skin became young again plus my hair stopped falling out and regained its thickness when I switched to vaping.

I was SOOOOOOO addicted to vaping, I couldn't go anywhere without it, if I didn't have my vape on me I would go crazy, but one day I got a feeling in my chest that scared me so much to quit immediately, which was so surprising because of how addicted I was

I got high off of a juul like two days ago and it was so bad. I inhaled way too much at once and I literally had to lay down for a moment because if I moved my head an inch I would get nauseous and trippy. Never again.
@@vindenap6987 What a load of nonsense. Vapes can be lower strength such as 3mg per ML and higher strength such as 36mg per ML (and higher). That’s a 12X (times) difference in strength between common Vape choices, yet your ridiculous comment acts like they are all the same. If you go with the lower vape strengths (such as 3mg per ML) you are actually probably getting LESS nicotine overall compared to cigarettes. The only time your comment is even remotely true is when someone is vaping the insanely high dose (such as 36mg Vape) but is not true for common vape strengths such as 3 to 6mg.
ALSO: studies show you only absorb 30% to 40% of vaporized nicotine. So for example 6mg nicotine strength, you are only getting 30% to 40% of that 6mg per ML (so 35% of 6mg is only 2.1mg of nicotine per ML your body will absorb).
I have a 3mg nicotine vape pod, which holds 3ML of juice. That’s technically 9mg of nicotine it holds inside 1 entire pod, but you only absorb 30-40% of that. So in reality my vape pod only holds approximately 3.15mg of nicotine for the entire pod, which isn’t that much. Many full strength cigarettes hold 1mg or more PER cigarette, so a mere 3 Marlboro red cigarettes contains more nicotine than my ENTIRE pod holds!
Also cigarettes have ammonia added to make it more alkaline and thus drastically improves nicotine absorption. Cigarettes also have other compounds which supercharge the absorption of nicotine, which vaping doesn’t have.
So it’s nearly impossible to really compare cigarettes and vaping nicotine strength wise head to head due to all the variables (and chemicals additives, MAO’s, and more in cigs).
Although even with that said if you are vaping 3mg strength you are definitely getting much, much less nicotine per day/overall unless you are smoking multiple pods per day nonstop.

Due to its high accessibility, its positive reception, flavouring, no big risks of second hand smoke etc, it's something people try because it's "safe" and share with their friends, especially at parties. Because of so many factors like this, tones of people who wouldn't touch a cigarette have started vaping excessively. Yes, teenagers are doing it alot but so are many other ages. I'd personally rather smoke a cigarette or 2 at a party than vape for hours daily

I am neither Pro vaping or against vaping. I know that vaping has been around since the 60s and its purpose then is the same purpose as now. To get those that are addicted to nicotine weaned off. I started smoking in my early teens and tried everything under the sun to break the habit. After 30 years of smoking I found that e-cigs broke the habit for me. I gave up the e-cig 5 years ago and I'm doing strong without nicotine in my life anymore and feel healthier and healthier everyday.

in order to make water a gas, you have to heat it to 100 degrees Celcius which is too hot to inhale and would probably burn your throat
If you put water inside of a vape it will spit boiling water down your throat. Don't do it, they weren't made for vaporizing water. If you theoretically made a vape that vaporized water, it wouldn't be much different than going in a hot shower and inhaling the water vapor, but wouldn't be useful because it wouldn't give any sort of affect or quench thirst.
The ingredient in eliquid that was thought to cause popcorn lung has been removed from eliquids
Some Time ago. Also there was more than 10times that ingredient found in smoking tobacco.
Diacetyl is in cigarettes in much larger amounts than it was in eliquid but they removed it anyway just to be safe.

From my personal experience:
I was smoking for about three years (at age of 18), then i switched to e-cig. After a year and a bit of vaping I started to feel pain in my chest around heart. Eventually my heart got so sore I had to call ambulance where they noticed that my heartrate is at around 150-160 without doing anything. After week and a half of test (even angiography) six of my doctors didn't find a single thing that could be wrong. At the hospital my heart was occasionally sore. When I got home first thing i did was grabbing a vape and take some puffs... After couple minutes my heart got sore again. I switched back to ciggarettes and my heart is not sore for years.
Conclusions:
Don't get addicted to nicotine or quit immediately.

Well, his research wasn't too in-depth, because he failed to mention that workers of popcorn factories that suffered lung damage inhaled way more diacetyl than is present in vapes and that cigarettes contain 100x more diacetyl than vapes. It doesn't seem biased, but it definitely isn't giving you ALL of the facts first.

No it's not obvious. How do you know it isn't safe? Obviously the lack of quality control is a problem but let's say in the future there is proper control and understanding of the effects of vaping. Then, if vaping is safe, there's no reason why one shouldn't vape.

Thing that ticks me off about e-smokers is when they try to justify vaping in a crowded area or near other non smokers and then say "Don't worry, it's just vapor". I don't care if it's vapor or not, it's still laced with nicotine as well as other shit and not everyone wants to breath it in. So please e-smokers...try not to be such a douche bag and go vape in a smoking area.

When I vape, I try to blow it away from others and not be a douche. If that doesn't work I'll put it away. I find that talking and conversing to people is more important than my addiction. :)

I quit smoking about 4.5 years ago, the switch from smoking to vaping was seamlessly easy to be honest, I'm now going to quit vaping, mostly for the fact that we do not know the outcomes of vaping on health, and partially because I heavily dislike the knowledge that I am addicted to something, I think it could possibly not only cause tolerance to nicotine, but also dopamine, meaning, if I reduce the frequency of things that give short bursts of dopamine, then everything else will just seem much more exciting, and I miss that magic of everyday life.

I quit smoking with vaping. I tried quitting repeatedly throughout my life without success: 50 years; fact is, the callback was just too powerful to resist. I quit smoking for three years with vaping. After those 3 years, the callback was gone. Vaping even seemed silly at that point, so I've quit that as well... "easily," I might add. Say what you will. I'm smoke free to the grave! btw, I never stepped down nicotine while vaping as you might think I had to have. 18mg all the way!!!

Well idk, but i guess it was the same for me... I smoked a pack of zigarrets a day... then thought "maybe vaping is better" ... then did it WITHOUT nikotin (the start was hard because my body was telling me to consume nikotin.... but the power of will won.) and after a couple of months (oral fixation i guess) i quit it completly. But... tbh... i still sometimes vaporize some cannabis ;) but far away from being addicted.

Jess Effect Yeah, they're called vape pens. And they all have the capabilities to put mariijuana etc in them. But you have to be 18 to get a pen whether it has nicotine or not. I personally don't mind it. It's just a social thing kids do, sit around in a circle and share it.

He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. Neylena A blood test is not going to definitively tell you that you have a Gluten Allergy. You could have non-celiac gluten sensitivity instead. Try cutting Gluten out of your diet. Also it could be lactose intolerance, both share similar symptoms.

The updated statistics says vaping is way less damaging for the lungs and with theoretically very low cercinogine residues, even so and due to regulations (more money related than health related, since American tobacco companies have been losing market in a dramatic way during the last 5 years) black market has raised and low quality eliquids including those with THC cutted with vitamin E acetate have leaked into the public with very severe adverse effects, including severe lung damage in very short term for to the use of vitamin A acetate, wich is very toxic but cheaper... That's why we should regulate e-cigarettes, but since tobacco companies are one of the more powerful in the world... They won't make it happen

After 32 years of smoking cigarettes, I purchased an E Vape pen and stopped smoking cigarettes immediately, I had no cravings, because the E Pen had minimal nicotine in it. That was nearly 10 years ago, I still vape (bubblegum flavour oil) with minimal nicotine. Some individuals drink alcohol and/or take canibis / other drugs to de stress. I do neither yet admit vaping helps with stress.

Nicotine is unhealthy I'm not going to argue with that, but when you take ALL of the added carcinogens out of the equation you are left with something no worse than caffeine. In fact we know people get addicted to caffeine, whereas I've been vaping for 6 years and I hardly ever crave nicotine, and I k ow that's the case for many people.
