Just like Montana, the median household income is slightly deceptive because it doesn't do a good job of accounting for the enormous amount of retirement wealth that's in the area.
I think PF is good if one or both spouses work in Spokompton. I find PF to have more RINO type conservatives. I find leftists here all the time, especially women. For examples, a lot of teachers here are leftist. I noticed the levy passed pretty easily in PF but CdA and Lakeland had to have it rammed down our throats before they got it to pass. My husband wanted to move to PF from right by the Kroc center last winter. I threw a fit. We found a nice cheap place by the fairgrounds. Oh most important is the number of mean women in Post Falls. I don't know why they are attracted to that area, but most of the time women are REALLY mean, I discover they live in PF.
Not to sound argumentative because which city is more red is a fine problem to have haha. But look at voter stats, PF is 64% registered republican whereby CDA is 57%. As far as RINOs, in the last '23 local election most the candidates elected in PF are backed by the very conservative Kootenai County GOP whereby those who were elected in CDA where backed by the far more moderate North Idaho Republicans. CDA will also have more people with vacation homes who don't live or vote here, but travel in from blue states & bring their influences. I think the school levy is a factor that often transcends party affiliation & would point more to the fact that PF has more younger families thus more care about school funding. Anyhow, not that one is good & the other bad, just my observations from living here
Kootenai Hospital was just certified as a Level 2 Trauma Canter. We just received that information this week. Just an FYI. Thanks for the information. Really appreciate it.
Boy you miss a lot. LOL. PF doesn't have all the tourists and tourist traffic. In parts of CDA that traffic isn't terrible either but anywhere near downtown or even mid-town now sucks. Post Falls needs another High School (15 years ahead of schedule) so expect that tax bill soon. Post Falls beaches and parks are more locals only. We don't have the cache CDA does so there's fewer touristas, which is fine by me. Q'emlin and Black Bay are great. So is the Mill Park at the end of Huetter. Shopping and traffic SUCKS. PF is migrating North across the prairie, but everything is down South on Mullan or Seltice. Which means tons of traffic basically funnels through about 4 intersections. Lots of those people just need eggs or a six pack, but there's nothing retail-wise north of Mullan. We really need retail on Poleline or Prairie. The population is up here. Poorly planned, but welcome to Idaho, ya. LOL. We don't build roads either until they're jam packed.
Kootenai Health is now a level 2 trauma center. It was recently upgraded. 😊
Thank you for letting me know!

Right, it seems like a majority of people coming here are retired with nice pensions.
Hello. Do you find people are moving to this area from Chicago or Illinois in general?
Hey! We haven’t had anyone reach out from there yet, but I’m sure somebody from that area has moved here.
I spent time in courdeAlene this fall it has been over 40 years since I was there. I felt the town has improved since my last visit here.
Good to hear!

Interesting observations!

Are you a nurse?
@@analyticalchick3064 I’m a Secretary/I have a Family of Nurses
Thank you for the heads up!
Thanks Seth, based on my visits over the past 7 years I think you gave an accurate description of both! Would definitely prefer CDA but I'm biased. 😊
I'm torn on that one. I spend a lot of time in Post Falls too and it is growing on me.
A realistic rent price for a one bedroom apt in Post Falls would start out at around 1200.
Thanks for the info!
post falls what future. projects will happen there ?
That is where most of the new development will be
I moved from WA to post falls....if anyone is planning on turning ID into CA or WA, leave now
I don’t think anyone is planning on doing that…well, nobody I know at least
@@northidahoexperience No one you know of. The North Idaho Republicans are democrats in another clothing.

Never claimed to be perfect. Thanks for the input!
Your sound is very low. We have more watchers if we could hear you.
Turn up your volume. I don't think the issue is on my end
Stay away from Pocatello, it’s a clown show there.
I did not know that!
Rentals are no where near $700 that is a laugh do not trust Zillow
It's probably for a shed
Is north ID racist?
Nope
