    hello westy love your channel. i have been looking at this chair on other channels and have found out that the longer arm that is threaded is for a keepnet and the feeder arm goes on a short arm hope this helps explain why its threaded. keep up the good work i too fish a lot of the places you do and i hope to bump into you on the bank sometime

    i bought the same chair 2 weeks ago, and i love it ! I also bought the guru feeder grips with it to be save :)
    The only thing i find slightly annoying is that you have to sit very still otherwise your feeder mount wil wobble and your rods move allot up and down.

      I think they are all a bit like that ! Never mega steady unless it’s a box . But I stopped mine from doing it with the screw out foot I made as you can see in the video. 👌🏻👍🏻

    I nearly bought a Caperlan chair but ended up buying the new Korum accessory chair purely because I owned other Korum kit. I did try the Caperlan and it’s very good, the feeder arm wobbles a bit but that’s same on the Korum and others when the arm attaches via the chair leg. Both very good chairs you get a lot of extras with the Caperlan and if your just starting I def buy it, yes it’s heavier than the Korum but it’s not a deal breaker unless your walking 5 miles.

    I just bought one second hand on the French marketplace equivalent, the guy was selling it for 100€ with a bunch of rods, bobbers, tackle and a bunch of other stuff. I was going to buy the chair brand new and it goes for around 115-150€. Looking forward to receiving this bundle of stuff and test it out! I'll mainly be using it for ocean fishing from rocks/cliffs so I can sit my lazy ass down instead of standing the entire session

Was actually debating if I wanted to try those bite alarms as well to see what it's worth for ocean fishing, haven't really seen anyone do that, might be dumb or it might just work.. Good times with some old fashioned trial & error

    They also do a comfort chair which whilst yours is now £109.99 with all the goodies, the comfort chair is £149.99 without the goodies but with the ability to adjust the chair back.
    Do you find that the chair back angle is ok or if you’d had the option at the time to go with the comfort one would you have forgone the goodies in favour of the back adjustment?

    • @WestysAngling
      @WestysAngling  18 днів тому
