Hi guys , I’ve been lucky enough to put the new Absolute 36 feeder chair through its paces over last few months . So a quick video about this great new product.. 👍
Just bought the whole caboodle, never had anything in this league before, it’s awesome to be honest and as someone whose back is completely shot this is magnificent. Solid & comfy. Roll on the 16th!
This is my exact fishing chair which i picked up this summer in a straight swap for a normal carp chair i had with another angler at my favourite fishery. I love this chair so much, proper cumfy, super easy to attach side trays and other attachments and folds up so flat that it's perfect to fit in my wife's Ford Fiesta boot (with the back seats down of course. It really is a great piece of kit.
Hi, we have the original Inception Feeder Chair which is ok but now looks inferior 😮 The thing I've been thinking about is on your right hand side fitting a tray with a stacker plate attached so you can lock in a stack with draws & trays which you could then have easy access to. It looks like it would be much easier to set up on the new chair as opposed to mine, but I'm still going to try.
J ai cette chaise, elle est Super. Dommage qu on ne puisse pas pêché au coup dessus auriez vous des adaptateurs support en prévision pour cette chaise ?
I need a good chair as I have back problems. . I was unable to get the Cuzo Quantum 36 as they are made in Poland and do not ship to the UK . After watching this video , I thought I had found the exact chair I was looking for, So I tried all the angling shops and dealers near me, Then tried the internet. Looking for the Absoloute 36. None in stock was the same answer, no matter where i contacted. They have all the accessories available though. Any idea why there are no stock anywhere? I was wondering if it has been discontinued.
Just yesterday I received this chair from UK. I live in Uzbekistan and all my gear is from Preston. After opening the parcel, I found one flaw in the mechanism for attaching one leg, when I decided to put the leg in, the surface of the leg began to scratch. I had to disassemble the fastening mechanism and I found that the problem was in the chair frame itself, namely the hole for the chair leg was not drilled quite correctly and part of the metal frame protruded and scratched the chair leg. It seems like this is a trifle, it is enough to walk a little with a file and grind this edge. But it's still unpleasant when you pay that kind of money and get a defective product from a reputable company. So, colleagues, I ask you to pay attention to this, before inserting the legs, walk your finger along the inner surface of the legs fastening mechanism, so as not to spoil your mood from the scratched legs.
I've had loads of issues with recently bought Preston kit. Seat box, luggage, rods reels the works. The quality is more than questionable and anyone considering buying an Inception seat box, my advice, don't bother, I've had 2 replacement Seats, plus a replacement deep draw unit and now all the legs are dented where the clamps tighten to the legs, footplate locating pin on one side has broken and there's paint coming off it everywhere, I fish once a week on commercials and owned the box since March 2021. Competition luggage is poor too, carryall started falling apart and had to be replaced as did the 4 rod ready holdalland the World Champion rod protectors split on the neoprene middle straps. All not what you expect from a so called top end Manufacturer Brand.
@@user-we6sf3hx3i That's never going to happen especially when these guys are sponsored by the company and don't have these concerns because the kit is free and they can have whatever they want whenever they want pretty much. It's easy to praise products when you're not paying for them from your hard earned. 90 percent of this stuff comes from China and unless the manufacturer has regular and stringent quality control checks the Chinese are Masters of cutting corners to make an extra dollar or two per item
@@neilmilner7074 It is a pity that everything is going in such a direction. I have been buying equipment from Preston for a long time, they have always been the legislators of everything new in feeder sports for me. I have to buy everything at several times more expensive from the UK (taking into account the markup of the intermediary supplier), since, unfortunately, many of your leading manufacturers of fishing tackle are not present in Uzbekistan and there is no direct courier delivery. Let's hope that someday they will show interest in a country where the annual population growth is 650,000-700,000 people. Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you Neil. My name is Farkhod. Hi Graham i have just bought the Preston absolute 36mm chair, waiting for footplate to come into stock, do you have to take the footplate on and off when going fishing or does it stop on permanent thanks
Hi Paul , I always used my shuttle to transport my gear around whilst I was testing the chair , so I always left the footplate on buddy . Hope that helps 👍
I'm just getting into pole fishing and have discovered that my carp chair's arms just get in the way. I know I could buy a proper seat box (at a price!) but how would this (feeder) chair cope for pole fishing? My back can get sore, so a chair with a back - but not arms - coupled with the off-box attachments is quite appealing...! Thanks
Im debating the same thing as i want to lighten and lesser my tackle for match fishing. I used to have a Korum chair which is a company now owned by preston and it had all the fittings like this, LESS 36 mm legs which are a much greater stability quality. I used to use pole with my Korum chair BUT getting a box was a bit of a game changer tbh, although it is possible to use a pole with a chair and certainly a margin pole for the last hour or so or short fishing alongisde feeder rods. I think the solution is a lighter box with the ability to fit the rotational chair as you can do with Matrix boxes and maver i think. However I do want one of these for feeder match fishing which allows me to take a much lighter load on feeder matches. I am tempted to go for it.
pole is fine with it i use mine with pole and what makes it easy as the frame is like a seat box unlike most feeder chairs so you can sit upright and easily hold a pole
I’m not sure exactly how much it weighs Gary… the chair I got to use was a pre production model , however the shop bought chairs all come with a carrying strap 👍
hi Graham the footplate on the Preston absolute feeder chair does it slide underneath chair like the seat box, i have phoned tackle uk they said you have to take legs on and off every time phoned Preston the lad has not seen one yet couldn't comment thanks
Hi Paul, the footplate will be exactly the same as on a seat box . The two legs on the footplate , when slid under the chair , will sit directly in front of the front legs of the chair . Exactly the same as a seat box when you push the footplate back in . Hope that helps buddy 👍
Today I received two chairs presented in the film. The quality of the product leaves much to be desired. Parts are welded crookedly. The leg fixings are not perpendicular. One of the hinges on the backrest is damaged.
Here's my issue here. Absolute 36 Feeder chair. So why is the footplate available as an option Not an Absolute footplate but an Inception footplate with 36mm legs. Contradiction in terms and another example of penny pinching by Preston. I've had more than enough failures and quality issues with my recently purchased Preston set up. The quality ain't what it used to be or what these UA-cam plugs lead you to believe. Sorry but it's a fact.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion Neil , if you are having any issues with products please contact the shop where you purchased the items and I’m sure the Preston Rep will deal with any issues . 👍
@@grahamwestfishing7945 I have done Graham Dave Lloyd has been my contact via email liasing with my local dealer in Penkridge. Try putting the storm shield tray on the front leg, doesn’t fit , also £120 for the feeder tray, would have been so much better if they had put a locking catch to keep it closed during transporting, not on par with the Maver feeder tray

Hi Graham where abouts would you put a short arm umbrella bracket on back leg below or above the knuckle for leg thanks
below - take off leg put on leg and then fit leg so bracket is below knuckle (my take on this) - i used to do it with my korum chair.
What are you supposed to do with the 36ml bank stick leg… ie. Where do you store that???

300 + quid for a chair (with foot plate) and all my not so old 25mm preston attachments won't fit it, a bargain it isn't. ..
What does it weigh. How is it to be transported for example the roving feeder angler how or can you attach a rucksack to it like the Kirin gear.
