Flip 4 was out last year, and the Oppo just got global release a couple of days ago. I do like the Oppo more though, bigger battery, looks less plasticky due to less creasing in the screen. But when the flip4 came out I was pretty impressed too other than the plastic looking screen, I know it’s just aesthetic.
Samsung fan here. As a user of the Flip 3. My wish list with it was a bigger cover screen, better battery and a wider aspect ratio. The flip 3’s screen was just too narrow. Wasn’t too bothered by the crease but seeing how Oppo did everyone of those things is impressive. Samsung still has it in the water resistance department but it needs to catch up regarding everything else.

The crease is a folding phone's biggest bugbear and Oppo seem to have solved that problem really well! With it open, you really could not tell that it was a foldable. Also, by increasing the radius, they have decreased mechanical strain and that should result in greater longevity. I hate carrying big phones but appreciate a big display so I hope Apple come out with something like this (because I'm trapped in Apple).

I kinda want an Oppo now, but that's not really practical. This phone is really nice , I have to admit. I hope Samsung makes the right changes for their next flip phones, if not, I might just be switching to Oppo in the future.

You do realize that the next flip and folds that Samsung release are going to have this water drop hinge design AS WELL as an IP67 rating. They were reluctant to use this design because they couldn't put any kind of water resistance on it. Samsung is changing this apparently
I'm a huge fan for wanting a android flip phone. But these current screen folding phones aren't durable enough as these folding phones are known for crease cracking after folding and unfolding several times then suffer from black lines and cracked screens. What I really really want so badly. Is just bring back the old style flip phones we use to have that are strong and durable and can be thrown around like a brick. But what I want is a true android flip phone that looks like the old flip phones from back in the day. Put in a high end rear camera, with a touch screen for the flip phone to be able to use apps that need a touch screen. Flip phone that has full android os to be able to install all android apps with minimum 128gb memory 6gb ram. Large enough battery to last an entire heavy use day. Be build ragged to be able to be thrown around and have a rubbery feel like sonim xp3 flip phones. And be priced for around $300-400 Canadian dollar. This is the type of phone I really really want, but no one builds these. We only have either smartphones or a dumb flip phone, or flip phone with crappy Kai OS with crappy cameras. Let's bring back normal flip phones like the good ol' days, but build them with full android OS with full android support, high end cameras and touch screen with the normal keypad bottom of the phone like a regular flip phone.
Oppo really killed it with their new foldable device ! And they have really good phones, with really nice Oled panels. Thank you for making the video comparison between these 2 foldable devices.
In terms of image quality processing, the Find N2 flip still loses out to Samsung Flip 4. This proves that you can slap whatever megapixel on a phone, but at the end of the day, if the image processing is not good enough, it will still end up producing low quality images.
Honestly, this video does have some false info but that doesn't change the fact that Samsung could make the next flip much better and critical overviews pushes them to improve.

Oppo has some ridiculous innovations we know they have the technology for an extendable screen. The LCD is flexible.
