I couldn't see where i would use a flip phone in my life so i give no.1 spot the the Samsung fold. If there was a need for flip phones in my life then i would definitely go for find n2 flip.
Great work as always, you're one of the better UA-cam phone and accessory reviewers, however...is there any chance you can tone it down with the sexual references and double entendres? 🙏🏼 "Condom" cover "spurt", etc...it just doesn't sound too nice and a big reason why I know I can't watch your videos around children and on my TV.
Got my Oppo Flip 2 days ago. I was first in the shop to pick up my pre order 😁 the box plus accessories are impressive. I dreamt about flip phone since at least 15 years. I was devastated when they stopped manufacturing them but now they are back and my dream came true. About the front screen - I agree. There's much potential in it. Hopefully, Oppo will add some more widgets soon.

It's funny when you think back at 2010 - 2015, back then you had the LG Cookie touch phone. It had a "whopping" 3 inch display. Now this size is used as a secondary screen...
I really love the larger cover screen..I think the Flip 5 will definitely have a set up like this we a bigger screen. I can’t wait to see what it will look like.

Google should be releasing their folding phone this year. It's nearly definite. I'm switching between a Z fold and Pixel 7 Pro right now and I'll trade them both in for a Pixel Fold.

Man, those bunnies and cats on the cover screen are alright but just imagine u could have like a tamagotchi pet on the screen, mate! Like built-in tamagotchi pet game that u can play around with from ur outer screen, dude, that would be freaking amazing! I would get one of them oppos just for that!
Z4 user of 6 months, the battery life and aspect ratio are my main gripes.. the biggest thing is durability of the screens. I'm considering switching back to a normal phone. If you go with a bendy blower.. it would make sense to get it insured!
I just love how you make tech sound so interesting with your clever maneuver of jokes. I think at the "Battery Life" section you said 44W wired charging, but I saw a 67W charger at the beginning. If I'm not too stressed to see straight 😅
I wish there was a foldable with no front camera , also slightly disapointing that we cant open any app on that extra screen . Would be great to see notifications and maybe be able to quickly look at your music playing app . Maybe they can figure it out in a software update
An outside screen like that needs to have full android capability, any app.. how in the hell were they able to release without that functionality is beyond me
Now this is the foldable I'm more interested in right now as the Find N2 flid hasnthe bigger front screen, I also will admit I was hoping that they would allow messaging on the front for quick messages rather than the preset responses
As a lover of all things small and compact, I am very much looking forward to getting a flip phone. Which one would you say has a better camera - the Find N2 or the Z Flip 4? That seems to be my biggest issue with phones, I always somehow get stuck with a phone that has a bad camera, especially in outdoor night environments. Really need to find a good one for that this time around 😅
Unfortunately I can't speak for these phones, really wish I could and hoping I will, but.. if it's a great camera you want, you can't go wrong with a Google Pixel. I've used a lot of different brands of smartphones and always come back to a Pixel because of the camera 🤷♀️
@@tfkdandsvkc hey there, well it does have stock Android and the latest updates. These days there are more companies that have stock Android but not with the great hardware it comes with, the whole experience, software and all is pretty great. Of course I can't say exactly since I don't have a Pixel 7 myself (I have the 6 and 6a) but I'm just a Pixel fan and usually go back to a Pixel phone after testing
Really really tempted by this phone, love the design and dinky when folded form factor, everything screams at me better than the Samsung and it's awful crease!!! But is it worth switching up from my Pixel 7pro! Thanks as always for an excellent review 👌😎 lol decision time.
Yes go for it I am I have an oppo find X3 neo and it's fab plus always getting updates for security and software plus nearly two years old yet is still really fast and works a treat
Only thing keeping me away from foldables/flips is that crease! I've never tried one so don't really know how noticable it is, but I always notice it on tech reviews, and even your channel :) - When they get rid of that I might venture into the world of foldables. For the next couple of years tho, me and my Pixel 7 Pro are gonna be happy together :D
Great choice with the Pixel! The crease is a lot more subtle here vs a lot of other foldables but it's still definitely there, hopefully they'll 'iron it out' (hohoho) soon

I really hope they didn't make a mistake releasing the flip globally as the tester and that this sells enough to get them to release the big one. If this was the Find N2 being released instead I'd be running straight to town to get it.

Im a samsunq zflip user and i love the oppo flip with a larqer screen in front of this. My only problem when you use oppo's camera is like your face is super edited not as a natural one than the samsunq cam.
Wait when you're shooting video with it closed you only get 1080? What's the point, you're supposed to get better photos/video using the main cameras as the selfies! 😐

I've had the OPPO Reno 4 pro now on OPPO Find 5 X ,just saw the OPPO Find 2 Flip on my service provider so i thought i'd check out if there was any reviews a good few popped up and saw your review was on here .So after watching your review i'm going to upgrade my phone to this one this week ,thank you for yours reviews which are great as usual ,3rd OPPO after watching your reviews .
100,000 flips before seeing wear and tear doesnt sound like much, I wonder if 'open and shut' counts and 2 or 1 flips. I wonder what they mean with "wear and tear" too. 100,000 if open/shut is 2, say 50 uses of phone a day, you'll hit "hinge wear" in only a few years. Would be good to know how these will age, and if maintenance will be provided.
Has anyone tried adding the CoverScreen App to their N2 Flip? Its supposed to give you loads of functionality compared to the standard App setup for the small exterior screen which is the main issue you mentioned.
Was just wondering, if you can get your hands on it, then could you possibly review the fxtec pro 1x? Would love to see a review by someone who actually knows what they're doing, love watching your phone reviews.

I still remember when including a case, a data cable and a charger were the bare minimum included in a flagship phone packaging

My wife has the Samsung Flip 4 (she loves it) and you can't see the fold crease when using it. Might be tempted by Oppo myself

Oppo is such an underrated brand. had only great experiences with their phones
I love the look of this phone. If I needed a new phone I'd get this in a heartbeat. Or the Find N fold if it ever came to the UK.
Sadly the standard Find N2 doesn't seem to be coming out over here ever, fingers crossed for the Find N3!

Like Punchholes/Notches, You tend to ignore it after a few days of using the device.

Note that oppo is made in China. Unike Samsung most of their phones are made in Vietnam (QC not the same as Korea or even China)

How frequent does the Oppo Find N2 Flip get security updates? That is one of the biggest minus points for Chinese smartphones in my experience.
