Talk about quick! This little device has totally changed my oil change process and made it sooo much easier! If you've used these or installed one previously, let us know how it's holding up and how you like it!!
I’ve had the Fumoto drain valve on my civic and I’ll never go back. This one looks solid quality, I believe Fumoto was the only one making these a few years back. It’s been on my car for a few years and there’s been no issues with leaking or bumping the handle. Mine comes with a plastic clip to prevent the handle from even moving. The convenience factor alone is worth it.
I was excited about this thing.. just tried installing it on my truck and the thing broke off with the treads in the oil pan still. I was very lucky it came out easy. User error?? Over tightened?
Just brake clean from the auto store of your choice.

@@Dartmech given how thin brake clean is and that both the drain valve and oil filter have rubber gaskets, I don't feel comfortable with the idea. It cleans the area but surely can't be good for the rubber?

I don’t think I’ll go back after this! It’s so convenient…
Yep I have same fumoto with safety plastic clip.Works great and saves my back and 65 year-old hands .
This is a good video, it shows how you should look under your car before buying one of these. I think I'll buy one.

I’m hesitant to put mine in on the 6.7 Cummins because the drain plug is on the BOTTOM of the oil pan. 😬
I’m with ya on that one. Some manufacturers do make quick drains for that style as well.
Worth it?
Umm, I think you need a bigger catch pan bro. Good job.
What were you spraying for clean up?

Bro. Solid video.
Thanks!
Interesting!
How much ?
$22-23 on Amazon right now!
It's a ball valve, with incredibly slow flow. It takes forever to drain the oil.
not in my experience
Ball valve is usually full bore
@@yjg201100 The inner diameter of the valve is smaller than the inner diameter of the drain plug hole.
@chinatownboy7482 yes but is it significant for draining rare?
@@yjg201100 You have less inner diameter. There is less flow. It takes twice as long.
You left half the oil on the driveway. 😂
Shhh 🤫 😂
