Scott, you are SUCH a gifted soul! Wow!!! What a master of SO many things! Up next, "How to Turn a Cargo 747 into a Flying Home" Something tells me you could do it! Thank you for sharing your talents!
I had a CT 90 as a teenager back in the 1980s - at the time, being a typical teenage boy, I didn’t like the bike and wished I could have a “cooler” bike. Now I’d love to get that bike back - it was absolutely wonderful.
My mate, here in Thailand, has just bought a new one of these new. He uses it to explore and take photos and videos, he swears by it. Great video Scott, thanks.
Good day to you. I am grandpa and riding Honda Cross Cub at Japan. Cub is so nice for touring and camping! CT110 is so versatile motorcycle ! The video is so nice! Have a nice day!
Scott, every time I see you tackle a project I think to myself "we could really use some of the Aussie grit here in the states". Love that you don't see limitations, just possibilities. Well done...expect calls from folks in your area asking you do redo theirs!
Yeah, especially the Republicans,Trump got the gall.the Republicans need to man up.and quit being afraid they're gonna hurt people's feelings.why lose an b afraid with God on our side?
Judging by the millions of diy videos, restoration and fabrication videos from creators in the states I’d say that’s an incredibly ignorant statement concerning a lack of “grit” in the states
Wow you really can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Grandma was wrong. All joking aside you did a fantastic job on that. Thanks for bringing us along.
Also, it appears you are in Townsville. I have been there twice, years ago, while diving the barrier reef, and exploring Australia. Wonderful memories. Wayne

You were lucky with that central swivel bolt mate, heard the crack and thought "there it goes" but skill and good judgement prevailed. Nice work Scott. 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
I’ve had my postie bike since 2009 and ride it to work in summer, they are unbelievably reliable and crazy cheap to run I don’t think I’ll ever sell mine. Cool makeover and I like the yellow and black colour scheme.
The yellow on that CT110 reminds me of the 1978 CT90 color. Honda has released the CT125 now. I really loved those CT90s from the 70s with the low range. In low range as long as you had traction those bikes could climb pretty much vertical. They weren't a fast bike but they were very capable. Have fun with that CT110.
First mighty car mods works on the postie by adding a turbo to it and now you restore one . I'm starting to wish I had access to one of these bikes they look fun and easy to work on. Great job
Nice bit of Aussie culture kept alive. A professional spray painter told me that yellow is one of the most difficult pigments to spray. Apparently it's not considered to be an opaque colour.
@somashakerjampala2065 sorry, I am not really sure what you are asking. The engine cases are aluminium, so to the cylinder barrel and head. Steel liner bore. These engines are very reliable and strong.
Super cool. My buddy has one he uses for trail maintenance. It a yellow one. He put a FMF 2 stroke pipe on it. Sounds way more "throaty" and gives it way more HP on the bald eagle scale as we call it in America ;-) Who doesn't want more bald eagles! Fun little bike. Yours is very nice.
Awesome, Scott! When I was a kid my big sister had a friend down the street that had a Honda moped very much like that one. We rode that thing everywhere! I saw you put up Charles' name there above his picture! I know he'd be honored that you used an image depicting his passion as inspiration! Cheers!
Ahhh Scott, I really needed this video. What a gratifying transformation! How you kept track of where everything went together.....I'll never know. Lol
@@ScottTurnerformeindustrious I was expecting some kind of postie bike with the Forme Industrious aesthetic like carved wood and steel tubing welds but I am not disappointed at the outcome. I bet you weren’t either. Well Done on remembering where all the pieces went too, I would have no hope.
Ha, these things go forever! Nice restore, mate 👍🏽 Friend of mine had one of these many moons ago, he'd bought it for the sole purpose of getting to work and back, cost him a whole $7 a fortnight in petrol, I think the distance from home to work may have been something like 25 - 30 klicks...
Great video. I just finished my 1963 trail 55, first year of the trail bikes. I had previously done my 110 with only 356 miles, and I have two trail 90s that are essentially finished, but I want to replace a cracked swingers on one. I wish I had your welding skills. ...and a lathe, and milling machine, and... Best to you from Wayne out West in Denver, CO
Another great video. Thanks for posting it. I'm afraid if I attempted such a renovation I'd have more than a few bits and bobs left over!. It looks great in yellow. All the best. 👍
Nice job 👍 As a kid (40+ years ago 😳) my 2nd bike was a Honda CT70, they had a different frame design to yours. Bought it for $50 which was still a bit of coin to me then but we had a lot of fun with it.
Dude, that's a seriously njce restoration. Though I can't stop thinking about how the exhaust should feel incredibly warm at your leg, even with the heat shield. But that's Honda's design, lol. Good work on the sprocket, and love the end result!
Sweet looking ride, I own a Yamaha Chappy from the same era. I´ve been thinking about stripping it, and sending the parts in for powder coating, currently it has a spray can paint job. The front shocks needs to be rebuilt also.
Aww too good mate! Right down to the cruise at the end wearing a pair of jandals. Honda Cub is what I know them as, could be wrong. I had a couple of Honda 50cc scooters back in the day over in Japan. One was an old 80s Honda Tact. Would love to still have that thing. Good on you for stripping every last bit off, lot of work aye.
Amigo, qué alegría despertar y encontrar tu video al tomar mi primer café del día! Qué puedo opinar sobre tu nuevo proyecto? Beautiful work Scott, Would love to see you do a tour of Magnetic Island on it. Lockdown in Melbourne and have missed out on our annual holliday there two years in a row now. 🏝
Looks like you didn't have to do a lot of part replacement or repair on this. Must have been in fairly decent shape to begin with. Lots of work on cleanup and painting though. Really great looking result! The yellow and black looks really cool. Thanks for sharing!
Such a shame that the trails/super cubs didn't gain as much traction here in the states as they did elsewhere. I'd like to get my hands on one and restore it like you did. These bikes have a certain simple beauty to them.
Outstanding freshen up. Not too much but certainly not too little. Great bike.
Scott: “just freshen it up a bit.” Takes it totally apart.

I just bought a 1968 CT90. Can’t wait to restore it. Great job on yours Mate… great color combination. Enjoy it, it’s more reliable than a Woman!
Great bikes! Thanks.
Awesome!! Been power watching Mustie1 rustoring old bikes like this here lately. " Oh,Scott is doing a bike? This will be fun". Great job. Love it.
I had a 1969 Honda trail 90 when I was 12 it was great fun, you sure did a great job on yours.
What a magnificent job you did. The time I took watching the video was well worth it. Thank you very much.
You're very welcome!
I had the AG version of one of these in the late 90's, I miss it.
You've done the CT110 legacy proud, well done.
They are Legends these bikes. Cheers mate!
Great film and restoration. Gorgeous. Cool paint can tip 7:49. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Great resto job.
CT110 is the best bike in the world hands down
Thank you! Yep it's been fantastic for decades.
It’s amazing how much a new paint can drastically change the quality of a project
I'm not typically a fan of yellow, but man, that color is perfect! Amazing work and attention to detail.
Thankyou David. Picking colours is not my forte, but sometimes I pick well.
Nice job Scott. Darlington, South Carolina USA
Great video Scott, I’ve just started a restoration of a 2093 XR 400. Your videos are inspiring. Thank you.
