MOTORCYCLE CONTENT? FUCK YES
Edit: I would personally love to see a budget sportbike battle.
This isn't 44teeth :D
A 44teeth vs. MCM motorcycle build-off, with an off-grid Aussie-bush challenge🤩😎👍
An offroad grom build-off would be lit
@@andreash8698 Like they did with roadkill would blow my wormhole 3000 galaxies away
Very cool idea
If you're in a colder/wet part of the world, heated grips are almost essential for adventure riding. There is nothing worse than frozen fingers with wet gloves while trying to constantly clear your visor of water/mud and then using the clutch and brake. You can get away with not having them, but having them is like +10 moral and comfort boost that you never knew you needed.
Even just for street riding in the colder months they’re amazing! I got the oxfords on my mt09sp and damnn didn’t think they could make such a difference in comfortability
also the little plastic shields that sorta look like mirrors, simply keeping the direct wind off your knuckles make a HUGE difference
Dont really need them here in aus rarely gets cold enough
If you want over the top handle bar warmers, get them for a snowmobile. I had a set that at -20 my hand would too hot.
Even during the warmer months heated grips are great
I can't ever express just how important your videos are to me, I'm going through chemotherapy and it is literally the only thing that has brought a smile to my face and actually made me laugh in a very long time. It may sound crazy but I really didn't care whether I woke up the next day or not I was in such a dark place and your videos have brought some light back into my life. Thank you very very much for sharing all your builds and adventures I can't tell you just how much it's appreciated. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😊
Go watch some ct90 adventures videos. Best bike ever made in my opinion. Hope everything works out.
@Adam hill Thank you I will check it out
Keep pushing mate, stay strong, you’ve got this 💪
@@transatlant1c Thank you very much, I wish you the best as well
Getting Rick Rolled always puts a smile on my face. Nice one MCM

Why are you at the top of soup and mighty car mods comments
@@spanishpickles1642 Because Breaking Bad was popular and it's possible to piggyback off someone else's success.
@@Rattus-Norvegicus I'm sure he also has some kind of botted likes or something, he's way too high in way too many comments sections.

imagine what justification a government would have to not allow sales of that motorcycle
As a lifelong two wheel enthusiast, I can't express how excited I am to see motorcycle content on your channel.
Something a bit different today while we wait for Suzuki and Peugeot Parts to arrive... Also we'd love it if you wanted to support the show with some excellent merch! Check out our store here mightycarmods.com/collections/
Why did they ban them where you are?
What. I like the video alot.
❤
Keep it coming guys!
nice Video. Im going forward to consider, to do some mods on my bike i have now for 2 jears. And can you mabe name the song between 7:12-9:20 pls
If you want to talk about motorcycles, why not mention the return of the 250cc screamer, in the form of the mad 17,000rpm Kawasaki ZX25R. I know it's not a 20,000rpm CBR250RR, but it's the closest thing in years, and it comes with modern shit like ABS and adjustable traction control, a QUICK SHIFTER, and a telemetry app for track days. They're seriously silly.
I'd love to know a parts list of the stuff you added, I'd love to add some to my own
This is brilliant…I love the confidence you give to your viewers…explains to them you don’t need to have full bank account to have fun. MCM…is the best ADV channel on UA-cam, as you inspire everyone to “Get outside” and learn and grow…love this channel, and so glad I found them all of 10 years ago . Marty & Moog deserve UA-cam Oscars…believe in being Indie..they are the pillars of D.I.Y!!!!
The shift is real. Ive been a car guy my whole life, last year i bought a 390 adventure. Loving it!
I have bought one too. Went on my first overnight camp in the Grampians last Saturday.
Likewise, car guy since the first day I could drive, but always had bikes in the back of my head. Last year, turned 35, got my first bike, and haven't looked back. As they say, why not both?
That Space Wizard song was so catchy that even after those years, I rewatch it again.
"It´s not about the bike, it`s about the experience" is what my riding instructor told me. I´m on a 600cc Honda Hornet and i love that thing. The freedom, the fun, the scary bits. Yes to more Motorbike stuff on MCM!!!
I've got the cb1000r excellent for commuting and still more than enough power for some spirited riding
A CBR650r rider here perfect for the UK roads
@@rickerd83 A 1000 for commuting? i have to say that would be way to much for me. I do use my bike a lot (rode around 18kkm on it in a year) so i feel the carby fuel economy but on a liter bike it has to be thirsty af. But very good choice. Can´t go wrong with honda.
The best one wheel drive channel on the planet!
i did an offroad day while travelling in Laos, i was on a hired XR250, full knobbly tires etc. it was amazing, by far the best way to see all those places you cant get to any other way (at least all in one day) but one of the most memorable thing was after decending a particuarly tricky mud and gravel track (im not that experienced off road) i was taking a break and getting my breath back, and coming up the track was a 125, two up with a chicken on with almost bald/slick tires just getting the job done, and i never felt more 'all the gear and no idea' in my life... you dont need kit to go places, you just need to go 👍loved this episode
I love how genuine this video is.
It feels so much like the old days where you boys would reinforce that you don't need a $100000 car to have fun.
For a split second, I was expecting Marty to be dropped on the back for the box, just for pure comedy. Love this video. I'm not a 2 wheel fan myself, but have loved watching Moog doing bike builds. Keep it up, sir!
I'm just in the process of setting up a DRZ400 into a little adventure nugget! I think you hit the nail on the head there, so many people think you need a big expense bike to adventure on but all you need are a capable two wheels and a backpack and you can be off! You learn what else you need as you go!
I've only just got back into motorbikes and i'm so glad your putting the spotlight to these 1WD beauties
After watching you guys recover a motorbike that got dumped in a mountainside I've always wondered if you guys would cover more motorcycle stuff. This is awesome thank you!
Rediscovered my passion & love for motorcycles a couple years ago after one of my best friends passed away that I use to ride with a lot as a kid. My love for them definitely saved me from and pulled me back out of really bad depression. I'd worked on cars over half my life at that point and almost exclusively transitioned to repairing & restoring motorcycles & has been one of the best things I've done for myself in a long time. I still love cars, whether it's just simple repairs or modifying them but despite the circumstances that brought me back to them I'm so happy I fell back in love with motorcycles. Not to mention they're one of the cheapest forms of fun within power/motorsports for the money.
every year i ride my street bike from Michigan to Tampa FL for the Forgotten Angels charity camp out.....and last year a gentleman rode from NewYork to Tampa on a trail 125......only back roads and 1500 miles......hats off to him !!!
I've always wondered what happened to the MT-09 you had on the channel years ago. Motorcycle content is a lot of fun and this is a good entry point for just about anyone. Looking forward to more videos!
Mighty Bike Mods... C'mon that's got to become a thing! Love it 😂😎
The new CT125 is a great little mule, and I love mine heaps. However, I think Honda missed the mark on this machine by NOT including the dual-range gearbox like the older CT110 models had.
I've kitted mine with a few touring accessories, crash guards, and even a single-wheel "bob" trailer. It's under-powered, but it tractors along just fine for most chores.
Thanks for the great motorcycle content, and enjoy that CT! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Yep and not to mention it's hard to find without being marked up and it's still more than a Grom or Monkey but the Monkey has been shown to be better off road.
I went half way around Australia on a highly modified postie. Best mod I did was an XR 250 fuel tank addition. love that bike
Moog loves this bike, you can tell because of the beautiful lighting and camera setup. Maybe this was an evening shoot, no idea, but man you really went all out with the focus and lens tricks. Lighting was phenomenal. Nice job mate.
What a refreshing change of pace. Never been a bike fan per se, but this makes me wanna get a little twist and go for some fun
Sick build Blair.... Best off road bike channel ever
Really appreciate this video; back in November i took my MT-07 which is totally unsuitable for adventure riding on a 2 week trip on the ferry to Tasmania and took a different phone that only my emergency contacts had the number to.
The weather was abysmal, i got off the ferry into gale force winds and sideways rain, but i saw nature as few would see it (the sensible people being inside) but what fantastic memories and being as uncontactable as good sense permits was a revelation. Too often it feels like any moment not spent working on goals is moments wasted, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Yes more bikes!!!!
C90Adventures has an amazing series taking the c90 from Alaska down to Argentina which introduced me to these bikes.
Anyways another great video!
I bought my postie about 13 years ago from a bloke in Wollongong.
It was unregistered, so I got a police permit to ride it home. I didn't tell them that home was in Broome, but that's where I rode it to, via Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Esperance and Perth.
Many further adventures were had on that bike, mostly with my dog Cowboy in the back. Gibb river road, Dampier peninsula, heaps of unnamed Kimberley back tracks.
Now I live in country Victoria, and still have my postie.
I should really get around to registering it one day too...
Love it. Can't find a Mighty Bike Mods playlist though! Might be something to add...
I appreciate the product value of these videos, always brilliant. Do you guys edit the videos yourself? I know you do everything else
Yes we do it all ourselves. There’s a video on our channel recently that tours the edit suites and goes through the process including music and hard drive storage etc
@@mightycarmods you do a awesome job, honestly keep it all in house. Not sure there is even 1 episode I have missed from almost the start... its been a pleasure watching you grow....
And for the record my hope is to one day see what you could do with a highly built r34 just saying lol
@@daniel.s8126 to be fair never heard of them.... but just put a episode on... seems very very dry content tho... no even a single joke cracked...
Yes more motorbike stuff.....thank you MCM
The best adventure bike is the one you have! You can adventure on anything, we've had off-road adventures on scooters, small CC bikes and "proper" ADV bikes. The most important thing is that you're out having fun with your mates! Loving the CT125 content guys. ❤️
This is exactly why I just bought a grom last week and got offroad tires. I'm into cars, I have a few projects. But the car scene and the entire world it seems entirely has become so toxic, hectic, and uncivil that it's just nice to have the freedom to clock out from the world and do my thing. It also makes a fantastic daily. I highly recommend one. Especially for people with mental health/life issues. It's absolutely amazing therapy.
Your Videos are awesome, astonishing and educational at the same time. I love all the kind of videos you guys do, all the „movies“ are like a new series of Top Gear 😅. Such entertaining stuff going on on this Channel just love love love it! 👍Many Greetings from Germany! Hope you both still visiting us even if the GTI Meet got canceled :/
imagine banning a bike thats probably 1 million times greener than anything else on the road
They didn't "ban" it, it just doesn't meet modern brake and safety requirements.
@@SqueakyNeb oh ok….so they don’t allow that model on the road? I think there’s a word for that…..
Welcome to Australia. The episode these guys did where they had to cut a car in half because of Australian laws was insane.
I've watched so many car shows on the tube, i started watching mcm when marty stole his mums mozzie door to cover the windscreen of the Cherokee for the zombie episode. After what, 10, 12 years of growing up with car shows, nothing screams honesty and genuine like mcm ❤❤ ❤
Come ride in New Zealand with us MCM!
Seconded!
Mighty bike mods, one of the best 4WD’ing channel in the Inter webs for sure
i've been watching MCM videos over a decade. I love the wisdom you're offering to the world (especially just getting out and enjoying before worrying about what you 'need' to buy), and i'm thrilled you have found such success with your passions.
Things you should definitely get if you're going offroad a lot - handguards and a sump plate. It'll save you a broken hand on branches or trees and a dead bike if you hit a rock!
It's definitely becoming Adventure Time! I've started building a Cargo Rack for my Off-Road E-Scooter so I can haul my gear for solo camping. 🤙
I just bought one from Japan!!! AWESOME to see you guys bought one to!! Will be making videos of mine getting pimped next week 😄😍
I processed pays for Australia Post for 11 years in the 90's every Xmas I got to help out delivering mail. As a bike owner for years I can see why you love these little postie bikes. Enjoy.
I had a CT90 when I was like 10. My mate and I spent a while selling macadamia nuts we'd pinched from an old macadamia farm that was no longer in operation until we could afford the $50 for it! Absolutely awesome little nugget.
never clicked on a video so fast! just got my red Ps on my bike and been loving it! way more cheaper than a car. keep the bike content coming! :D
This channel was one of the main reasons i bought my own Trail 125 here in the states, and to see the boys doing some work on their own again really cheers me up and makes me even more excited about the warm weather coming up. Great choice in mods and an excellent final look
These bikes are the most reliable way to get somebody into riding who might not feel confident getting started.
I've got a 60s CM91 (the granddaddy of this bike) that's original down to the tires and its still always ready for a buzz around the neighborhood
I can tell you guys put a lot of consideration into your sponsorship deals, and I really appreciate that. They are always quality products that are relevant to us gearheads.
I really appreciate that your sponsored stuff is integrated and that you clearly like them, you're not just doing it for money. Also, you've made me look for a bike like this on autotrader damn you!
I bought 2 Bigboy 250cc on/off road bikes for my wife and I. We just donned our helmets, boots and backpacks and went out on weekends having fun. You really don't need much to just get out there and touch mud.
I haven't rode a motorcycle since i was a kid, but a bike like this is the kind of thing that could really get me back into it! I wish this episode was a lot longer.
This is truly the best 4x4 biking channel on youtube!
I have all kinds of mods done to mine. I would definitely look into getting knobbies on it .The stock tires suck in any real mud. Raise the front fender because once mud gets packed up in there it will actually freeze up the front tire and you will crash. Handlebar Center brace Is worth its weight in gold even the cheap ones. The first time I crashed mine hard ,my handlebars were trashed. I also dropped a tooth in the front sprocket. Not necessary but helps with hill climbs and getting out of things like sand and deeper mud holes. I will say this though, putting off-road tires on it will cause you to lose a little bit off the top end speed . As will gearing obviously. Great video bro 👍
i can hear it already before even pressing play... "number 1, best motorbiking channel on the internet, ever"
1:05 ELECTRIC SPACE WIZAARDDD😂
What a classic
Love a motorcycle episode. You’re right, so simple and rewarding to work on.
moog. I trust you. and have done for a decade. that's about the deepest compliment I can give.
THE BEST 4X4 CHANNEL ON UA-cam! Make a offroad film with bikes!
"The First Ride" is probably my favorite MCM video ever. Ultimately got me into Motorcycles
Any bike that gets you travelling and exploring in my eyes is an adventure bike. Regardless of size and style.
Few tips from a cheapskate adventure rider:
Trash bags/ bin liners! Keep a couple handy, makeshift ponchos, boot liners and keeping campgrounds clean.
Nitrile gloves work great for keeping your hands dry/ warm for that extra bit longer as well as clean when working on the bike.
A cheap tarp and some cord to tie it up with is invaluable for both hot sunny camp sites, and rainy cold ones.
Army surplus waterproofs are a really affordable and effective clothing layer for those wet days.
Most importantly get out and have fun!
Yeah, ANY THING IS POSSIBLE with bikes!... I years a go, I mounted a Kawasaki ZZR600 full front fairing onto a Suzuki Bandit 600, sprayed it black, and man! it looked GOOD! Did the same to a Kawasaki ZR7 by mounting a Suzuki RF900R top fairing to it, and in both of these mods, it helped with top speed, but also, it helped with more relaxed cruising, I've mounted racks, changed handlebars, all sorts. As long as you don't go silly, the only limit is how much imagination you have!
One thing I will say, it's CRAZY that Australia have banned the CT125, they're cheap, reliable, economical, and better for the environment than some cars. PLUS, we here in the UK have allowed people to have passengers on 125cc bikes (AS LONG AS they have passed the full motorcycle licence FIRST) FOR YEARS! Auzzie Govt...? Bonkers! Hahaha 😉 😎🇬🇧
this video has more than four 1WD vehicles in it, making it another reason why this is the world's best 4WD channel on UA-cam🤙🤙🤙🤙
I purchased a Honda CT 125 this year for the exact same reason. Sure, I have a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that I off road, but that little CT 125 is just a different level of fun, and you can actually explore so much more.
Perfect timing for this video. I've just picked up a cheap Yamaha Scorpio nugget to convert into a scrambler adventure bike, plus a modified write off that has most of the parts that I need. I'll be taking a few pointers from this video while I'm modifying mine. More bike content please. 😍
I grew up thrashing 125 4strokes as a kid, I will never forget the day my old man called my bike shit and went and got me a late 90s KX100.
12 year old me thought it was going to be gutless because I was going down in CC's.
First ride on the kx and I was at 12 o'clock looking at the sun. had to sit on the fuel tank so it wouldn't throw me off, a week later it was too slow haha
Really appreciate the bike content. It really mixes things up and keeps things interesting.
I have been waiting for this episode to happen. I love my ct125, without doubt the most fun I have ever had on 2 wheels.
Love to see the bike videos! One thing I would highly recommend is bark busters (knock off versions) not so much on this bike but bigger bikes with clutch levers, it just takes one crappy 2kmph fall for the lever to snap turning it into a nightmare, front brakes you can live without but no clutch in most cases is game over.
Also, would be super interested in a disrespected nose type video of your camping trip testing the mods
I'm glad you haven't changed the one thing that doesn't need changing - the seat. I have done one of the Postie Challenges and the seat on my CT110 was close to perfect.
Enjoy your adventure.
Picked up a tired XJ900s late last year and spent the past few months tidying it up and getting it back on the road and registered.
Very enjoyable process, good medicine for the soul only bettered by the time spent riding it!
Love the bike Moog. Some nice additions, a few of which we use pn ours as well. Got my start at 5, 81 yz 50, and still love off road rides. Wife and I picked up a used Ural Ural Sportsman a few years back, so the dog can also come with.
Sadly, I don't get much riding in currently. Right leg was amputated in 21, due to an infection, above the knee. Havs the prosthetic, getting better with it, and yes, have gotten out on 3, and on 2, mainly the 90 YZ 125. Using it to try out rear brake mods, that work with the T 800 leg, as my ex calls it.
Plenty of falls, anx just as many stand ne and the bike back up, ride, and repeat. That's the number that matters, not the falls, but rising back up, and trying again.
Did sell some of my big bikes, Goldwing, and the VTX 1800, but kept the small and middle weight ones. Already planning Sturgis in 25, as it's also the anniversary of a friend's wedding, where I was best man. Lost her dad a few years ago, and my daughter's biological father walked her down the aisle.
She asked me to walk her down the aisle for their 25th. I accepted.
Enjoy the car content, and love the bike stuff as well. Would love to see more of it.
Keep the rubber side down brother. Stay safe, and have a great adventure.
Hello from Colorado. I got my new CT125 just a month ago {after a 60 day wait} and really enjoy it. I had a little trouble getting used to the heel/toe shifter but have figured out what works best for me. The only mod I've done so far is to paint the rear rack with truck bed liner paint so the factory paint wouldn't get all beat up. I'm still considering adding a crate or box of some sort for the rear so I can haul a few more things than will fit in my backpack. Just ordered some merch from you guys...got a short "Chopped" keytag for the Honda in red of course!
New Years update=I bought some knobby tires and a 13 tooth front sprocket to help out with off road conditions. Going to get them installed as soon as we get some warmer weather here in Colorado and then ride it like I stole it!! Happy New Year!
Man I’ve been followin your guy’s channel for years now and every time I need some advice on a project a video is made on it shortly after😂 thanks for all the great content👌
So sad that these are not coming to the EU and UK. Literally no idea why as the c125 is here and that is basically the same bike for all the important legal bits. Rural England would be a perfect place for this bike.
glad you got one !!! i LOVE MY TRAIL 125 !!! nice job ! thanks for the video ! ( from Tampa, FL. USA )
Good to game an update on this bike.
I have the Honda Super Cub C125, which I love and ride to work every day. I havent done as many mods as this, but I did put on a similar box on the back and a power socket to the battery.
Saw one Posty, in Melbourne when it was raining around Halloween. Your right they are awesome!
I've been riding motorcycles for 27 years. Great to see you doing another one. :)
I've not even watched all the video yet but I have to agree with you on the CT110. We had one on my grandparents farm for such a long time, they're a great bike and are so fun to ride. We had other dirt bikes but this is the one that I loved the most. I have memories of somehow burning my leg on the exhaust when I was riding back up to our shed, great times were had with that bike
Adventure riding is great. I hope you're going to be filming some of these adventures for the channel.
I picked up my CRF300 Rally just before Christmas. It's amazing fun.
I'm building a custom rally tower for my Husqvarna 701. I've invested less than 400 bucks compared to buying one for over 1000. All I've got is and angle grinder, a file, some worn out drill bits and a drill. Been fun so far.
Best mod for long distance on these is the seat + fuel tank mod. It's new, so few peeps have it, but i've seen them already in some forums. Essentially: a gas tank that goes over the existing one, kinda making it into a more classic moto style bike with a modified seat that hugs the base of it. Dunno the stats, but for such a small bike, you'd probably fill it on Monday and park it on Sunday.
Mighty Bike Mods!? Hell yeah!!!
Would love to see some more bike content! Recently purchased a cruiser myself and been fixing it up from the sorry state it was in with the help of a good friend. Its finally ready for rego and will be done this week but have to wait till I can do the learner rider course at the end of May until I can legally ride it.
MCM is the best 4x4 motorbiking channel!
8:55 That is one of the most accurate things I've ever heard on the interwebs!
The amount of memories and adventures I’ve had over the past 3 years with my Suzuki DRZ are simply magnificent.
These guys literally release nothing but unsuspecting bangers
Great to see motorbike on your channel love it 🎉
I'm Going to ride my bike today, Thanks for the motivation Blair!
Looks like a really fun project. Hopefully you get us some video from one of your trips, would be cool to see some of the places you trek to. Great video as always!
After putting more miles on ever model through dirt bikes,3 wheelers ,quad from 50-125cc more than I ever could count best mod it to add additional cooling heat is there worst enemy, oil cooler and oil additive like old engines need to keep from wiping out cams forget name of additive getting older but they were of first engine I ever built at 8 with supervision to how uncle was restoring a ct90 1970s and started passion in building things the amount of time with this platform of engine I stuffed in everything that had wheels and built some very crazy motors keep up great work and everyone have fun.
Wise words! Sometimes you just need a break from all the ongoing stuff. If I hop on my bike and cruise around I can forget everything and feel like free
I’m currently slapping together a build on my yfz450r. Love seeing you all venture out onto bikes. Maybe you will do an atv build off in the future? I’m sure there’s great places to ride there on the outback lol
Love it! I just got my endorsement (US) and am having a lot of fun on my Dual Sport. My plan is to do some weekend trips on it like you are on the Postie. I’m down to see some more bike videos!
That quad lock ad was so seamless i instantly bought 10
Thanks Moog. We get these here in Canada. Looks like a blast to ride.
