Thanks for sharing. Having 2 different concealers is a good idea. One for the eye area and a separate one for the rest of the face. The skin under our eye is completely different from the the rest of our face.
I own both concealers and love using the Radiant Creamy Concealer for my under eye area; the Soft Matte Concealer easily conceals breakouts and lasts well on my combination/oily, acneic skin.
this video is such kismet for me! i picked up the nars soft matte concealer last week and was actually going to return it today because i hated how it looked under my eyes, but after watching this, i really think i was just using it wrong. i’m going to hang onto it for the days when i need to cover those fun hormonal breakouts. thank you Susan!

Because of my drier skin, I like liquid more. But, since I have more hyperpigmentation, the soft matte helps even it out better 🥰
Great tip! The undereye concealer I'm currently using is a cream, but it's not at all matte. It's kinda on the oily side. But, I like it that way. Because, it feels moisturizing under my eye and it doesn't crease when I smile. And I set it with a little powder to take away the "greasyness" and it looks more matte without feeling dry. So, I really like it. But, I wouldn't mind trying the NARS liquid concealer you showed us. Looks nice for a light quick errand day.

What undereye concealer are you using?
They are both great.....cream is always much better due to high pigmentation if you need it for dark circles and liquid for lighter coverage.❤
this was very helpful... i have always used the nars liquid concealer but saw you and nikki talk about the nars matte concealer and i went out and bought it.. love it like you said to cover any blemishes or for me i use it for hyperpigmentation.. thanks again!
Does it work well for dark spots ? Each time I try to put concelear on my hyperpigmentation it doesn't look very nice. We still can see the dark spots underneath the concealer and my skin just looks cakey at those spots
@@allergicrhinitis4469 i use a brush and lightly blend. and use very little product.. just on the spots that need to be covered.. i also use a shade that matches my face rather than try to get a color for the under eye (which is typically a little lighter)..

@@allergicrhinitis4469 This was my biggest frustrations (having the cream concealer stands out too much when I spot conceal my acne scar). Sure, everything looks fine on videos/photos but I wasn’t happy with how it looks in person.
What I did was spot conceal > setting powder > spot conceal again if hyperpigmentation still shows > at this point it look obvious I have something on (light reflective on concealer…etc), so I very very lightly tap a bronzer powder over the spot and it just blend the spot with my natural skin flawlessly. This was the best steps for me to make it not detectable. Of course, it’s all very subjective.
Liquid under mature eyes, pot formula on targeted spots on face for staying power. I use pot on the spots on my cheeks

I really really love how you explained the different uses for both concealers! 🫶🏻 I’ve been using the creamy for years! But I do have really dark circles and I wanted to try the soft matte but then again I tend to sometimes have dry skin under my eyes so I’m like which one should I use?

Love my Nars creamy radiant BUT I have to mix two colors to get a match 🤦♀️ this can be expensive. They need to expand the shades for us lighter gals. I mix Cannelle and affacotto
Cream in the summer because I use a lot of powder in the summer and liquid cold months . But of course it's not written in stone and it varies
