Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. I really love bronzer but something that I recently tried to understand is the difference between the types of bronzer in terms of red based vs yellow based etc and which is better for different skin tones or is it just preference (the look that you are going for).
I love the idea of cream bronzer, but when I tried both the new Charlotte Tilbury and Nars cream bronzers, it seemed like they just exacerbated the bit of melasma on my cheeks, making it much more noticeable than it is when I am bare-faced. I’ve never had that issue with powder bronzers and wonder if it is a technique issue? I applied them both primarily with stippling motions, but it seemed like they turned the underlying foundation somewhat transparent. Any suggestions?
The yellow tones is what always gets to me, my clients always look yellow when the makeup is done and I don’t know what it is, maybe I’m using too orangey of a bronzer is what I’m thinking. So would you suggest I stick to more neutral tones in my kit for the times I have makeup for photo shoots?
Hi. Love watching your videos. I purchased two of your body wash. I bought the Brightener Vitamin C so it could help me restore my skin tone caused by the quimo medication that I took. I also purchased the Multi-Vitamin, Minerals & Antioxidants. I will be using both and will get back and let you know the results. Wish you the best. I also purchased your vitamin c serum which I want to start using also. Can't wait. Thanks. Oh one more thing. I'm over 60 yrs old. 🥰
Loved this segment!!! Would have loved to have seen examples of real skin tones and suggested colours and cream based powder for mature skin. Would have also loved a better list of brushes to be used with both bronzers.
Help! I struggle with picking foundation shade when I use a medium/dark sunless tanner with fair skin. Then when I put my bronzer on I look waaaay too dark and it looks awful! I guess the question is how do you select a foundation and bronzer shade while using sunless tanner? 😩😩😩😩
Hi Susan ~ I have just recently started purchasing items from your line. To simplify a regimen, can you list the “main” products needed to keep your skin at its healthiest? It gets really confusing with so many options! Thank you!
Yall this stuff does NOT come naturally to me like it does some 😂 im 26 and just learning I’ve been doing my makeup alllll wrong, but wow the difference it makes when you learn the right way
I remember in the 90s and 2000s when it was absolutely impossible to find a bronzer that didn’t have a ton of shimmer in it (I’m looking at you MAC). I think this should come back with the 90s trends 🤣
I'm 52 and still don't know how to properly bronze. I am PALE, like raw shrimp, glow in the dark, college ruled paper, bleached whites, PALE. On top of trying to not wear too much makeup in general, I feel like once i blend it in, you can't see it so why bother. I hate asking the sales associates at say, Sephora, because they all pile it one when I have, so I look cakey. Idk maybe I'm not meant to be golden...haha
Lovely ladies: If you tanned under actual sun 🙈 wouldn' t you want to get an even and uniform colour from head to toe? Yes, I assume nobody wants to end patchy 😅. So, why don' t we apply a subtle layer of make up bronzer exactly the same way we do with fake spray tan? Why it must be different with make up? It makes no sense and all I can see is an unrealistic duochrome face where temples, checks and nose are tanned and the rest is not. Upper half of forehead is tanned, lower half isn' t. 🤷🏻♀️ 🧛🏻♀️🖤
@@angiesplaylist23 Yes, this is an accidental tan (most likely a temporary redness that fades out soon) where our jaw projects a shadow and half neck is pale, half is darker but I don' t see anyone replicating it 😅. When a person wants to be tan on purpose, either lays on the beach/taning bed perpendicular either sprays all the surface evenly. Nobody should pay for an uneven sprayed face at the tanning center🤷🏻♀️
@@sebumpostmortem but you won't always be perpendicular to the sun even if you lie down. The sun moves across the sky so depending on your facial features, you will still have sun hit the high points more first
@@angiesplaylist23 That' s exactly the reason why we rotate our towel every hour (only under natural sun, of course, artificial methods don' t require that effort) otherwise, you end with what' s called _The West Tan_ I guess it changes depending on the Fitz-Patrick. From 3-4 the tan is monochrome (Rafa Nadal and his lovely wife, for example, or the make up artist Luis Torres are the epitome of facial evenness) . It' s curious how everybody pursuits a uniform tone when it comes to redness and discoloration but no problem with having tanned patches here an there. Plus, if someone asks "Where should I apply my highlighter?", they get the same answer than the one received about bronzer placement "Where the light naturally hits your protruded areas". Paradoxal🤔
@@sebumpostmortem yes but that's if you go Tan specifically at a pool or beach. What about all the time you're doing daily things and you're under the sun like driving, shopping, errands, brunch, etc. You're not evenly tanning then
I love watching Nikki put makeup on. Her channel is so great
Watching Nikki do makeup is like Bob Ross painting lol. It's truly so calming. ❤️😂
When to apply bronzer vs blush first? Thanks 💕
okay! All my life I am bronzing, but I thought I was contouring. LEARNT something new , absolutely amazingly informative video.

Do you put bronzer right over where you put blush then? Where do blush and bronzer go if not on top of one another?

Is it a mistake to put bronzer on your chin and jaw line ? Thanks ! 😘🥰
Love that they are both in bronzy tops
Hi Susan ~
I have just recently started purchasing items from your line. To simplify a regimen, can you list the “main” products needed to keep your skin at its healthiest?
It gets really confusing with so many options!
Thank you!

Have you tried any cream bronzer. Im super pale too and love using cream bronzers. They look super natural and are super easy to use:)
You guys left out the part where you apply the bronzer. Or did I miss that? Wouldn’t it have been better if you showed us.
Application tips start around 02:44 💕
@@Mixedmakeup thanks but what about a cream bronzer? How to apply that?

No, the sun is above you not right in front of you. So it will hit the high points first and most. It won't be uniform

It would be great if you would let Nikki finish her sentences.
