this is my favorite kind of car content, just a normal guy building what he likes at home. channels like Donut Media and Alex martini are cool, and the informational stuff is always fun, but homegrown builds are still the best. Keep it up my man, i look forward to seeing what else you do

That flip kit gives me nightmares! Upgrade to the one w rhe saddle on top to hold the factory u bolts those tend to sway when u step on it..becareful bro.

No I just unbolted everything

Did you have to cut the tabs on your flip kit at all? When I put mine on the leaf pack and try to put in the perch it doesn’t lay in the axle, there’s a gap
I did some slight modifications to my just to be sure .

Can you reuse stock shocks or you have to get drop shocks in the rear?
yea bro u can but i would recommend getting drop shocks for better a ride

Yes if you dont add any blocks you should be fine
What did you do for the rear shocks did you just place them back in or did you buy new one?
Ended up going with air shocks..

Yes I just had to grind the tabs and the u part on the lowering block to fit the bigger axle tube.. you will see once you put them up to the rear end where they need grinding..

You won’t “need” one but it will hit the frame on bumps

How do you no how much 3/4s of a inch off of the coil in the front or was it 3/4 of a full coil

I ended up lopping a full coil it turned out perfect it matches up with my 6" flip kit
How does it ride ? Is it like rough on the road ?
I just did mine and its way rougher.
I had to do a c notch and get new shocks now it rides good.

No but the axle tubes hit the frame on bumps.. one of the next videos will be on the c notch
