This is such a brilliant podcast... As an American, I'm very much interested in what's going on in the Baltic states, in matters ranging from the arts and culture, all the way up to regional political relations and military matters. Especially in recent years as we've watched Russia and NATO begin to draw lines in the sand, i feel it is incumbent upon those of us in the west to draw closer to each other and find every possible avenue for uniting and sharing our stories, values, histories and aspirations, all in the hope that we can secure a safe future for us all. Thanks, Artur.. And congrats on the success of your channel, and best of luck going forward.

Estonia should host a new NATO naval base to complement the Army one Finland is building. Hundreds of sailors that have been out at sea with no where to spend there pay can do wonders for a economy.
Let's get those british sailors here!

I agree, I visit East Germany in 1978 as a tourist, it was scary.
We needed to line up outside the bus, as russian solders check our bus. We stood there with machine guns pointed at us.
At that time I was told that russian soldiers could rape East German women, if a young women was attractive in city, they were sent to country away from soldiers, for safety.
This story from 1978 is repeated today in Ukraine.
I feel that is why country that have lived under russin rule understand better.
Nice. Most of my financial support for Ukraine goes through Päästeliit, so it is an interesting episode. :)
