Good point. I have found that feature helpful more than once. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
@@shanersmechaniclife3164are you able to use as a breaker bar when needed to break loose ?
Thanks for reviewing this tool, but after being ready to buy one, I will have to pass. The adaptors not being retained is a non-starter. I'm not going to fumble with adaptors at every socket change like a monkey making love to a football. The directional switch jiggles like crazy when it operates and would reverse directions if it contacted anything. Ratches always contact things. Also the Torque Test channel tested one that stuttered and jammed off and on. Not ready for prime time. I am at the age where tools are becoming more or a recreational luxury. Your review and others has convinced me to go for the extended reach high speed version. I will buy a shallow socket set. I have a stubby 3/8 impact for breaking bolts loose. I really wanted to justify buying this tool, but it looks a little like it was rushed to market. Maybe the next generation?
You made some very good points. I haven't had any problems with it changing direction as of yet, but your point definitely points out the possibility. They have come out with locking adapters to address the adapters pulling out. Let's wait and see what the gen2 is like... if they make one. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback.
They have released updated adapters for 3/8 quarter inch and half inch that lock in place now so that problem is solved you can either buy them separate what you have to buy the half and separate anyway or you can warranty out the ones included with the kit and they will send you a 3/8 and 1/4 inch for free
@@shanersmechaniclife3164you can warranty out your included quarter and 3/8 adapters online and they will send you locking ones free and if you bought the half inch one you can order that out too or just buy the new locking one
Good review but a Con is the price…it’s expensive
It is pricey, but I also picked up the 1/2 adapter. 1 tool 3 different drives. 4 if you count the screw driver adapter. I use it mainly for service calls. Thanks for watching.
Honest review *****
Thanks for your feedback. I give my honest opinion in all my reviews. People want to spend their money on tools that are right for them and deserve impartial information.
That response just got you a sub. Amen.
Cool tool to have but not for $400....
Good point. I like the fact that it can replace the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 (with extra adapter)
they released an update you can get for free
I saw that and will be ordering them. Pretty good update. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The whole purpose for this ratchet is pass through, that’s why there’s no rear button… the adapters are just the bonus features, not the main purpose of the tool.
To be honest I have used the bonus features more than the pass through function. Still a very handy versatile tool. Glad I bought it. Appreciate your feedback and thanks for watching.
Milwaukee will now send you locking replacement adapters, so long as you can send them a photo of your receipt. ua-cam.com/video/LHqB2nWJ8JA/v-deo.html
Yes. That's great. I have sent away for mine. Thanks for watching.
Brooooooo your hands shake so muchhhh
Time to switch to decaf and lay off the energy drinks lol.
Would you recommend this one over the regular long reach 3/8?
I really like it when it comes to service calls. One tool for all the different drives.
Toasted after owning 30 days.
How can a new 400.00 dollar tool have WORN parts when used infrequently?
They repaired it under warranty but I paid fedex 20 bucks to pack it and I had to live without it for awhile.
