Bought the big M18 couple years ago, come to find out, the M12 3/8 does 99% of the work you could need on an average vehicle. Compact wins most of the time.

I love mine but idk if it’s living in the rust belt but it struggles with certain bolts here and there

@@Kaizen2013v use the big battery and impact sockets. I live in the rust belt as well and get my vehicles sprayed with oil by Krown.

@@joer6571Thanks for the tips. I am using impact sockets but only a XC 3.0 m12 battery. It’s been great so far but I figure it’s best to have a mid torque in the tool box for those hard nut busting occasions.
Btw I just checked and there’s a Krown in my city. I’ll definitely give them a consideration. My 17 4Runner TrdPro is not that old but looks like a haggard rust bucket underneath the dress 😅

@@Kaizen2013v mid torque would probably make the most sense. That big one is too much of a beast most of the time. Are you by chance in Michigan?? Not too many Krowns here in the US.

Correct answer, all of them! Have them all, use them all. Depends on the situation.

I got the 2863-20 for two years and haven't even touched it yet. My mechanic friend advised me, that if I need just one impact wrench then get the mid-torque. That's the most used one for most cases.

I've had an m12 fuel 1/4" impact that I've used on my motorcycles for years and it's been fantastic. Never used anything bigger because of the delicate fasteners on motorcycles. I'm just now stepping up to the M18 fuel stuff to work on my Jeep. I like the look of that 1/2" stubby for automotive applications. I couldn't imagine you'd need the high torque model for anything other than heavy industrial work.

Wow I am in the exact same position. 1/4" on my motorcycles, looking to work on my Wrangler and stepping up. What did you end up picking if you did already?

I really enjoyed your video, I just have a question, I got the Milwaukee 2962-20 M18 18V Fuel 1/2" Mid-torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring, does this have enough torque and power to just remove car nuts from a BMW normal sedan and average work around the house? Is it enough power?? Also for tightening the 🔩 on the car to make sure it’s safe to drive?
