I'm starting to collect tools, and I don't think I ever appreciated how much cool stuff you have in the garage till I started doing it myself!
Haha thanks David
When I buy Milwaukee tools I don’t even want to throw away the box 😂😂😂😂
I thought I was the only one😂😂😂
🤦🏽♂️
This ratchet is a good idea, but unfortunately it is a flop. The ratchet tends to lock up at low loads and has a tendency to lag.
yea i was super excited for it but the TTC video made me pretty concerned, if they fix the detents and skipping it should be fine
That's nothing new, it's been a common occurrence with electric ratchets for ages, both my first gen milwaukee ratchets did it and the snap-on I had before as well. If I've got to break things loose, that's what the ratcheting function is for. Otherwise, i'm using an impact anyway. My only gripe with it is that the sockets fit significantly more snugly in on one side than the other. If your intending to be puttiing a decent load on it, right angle impacts are a better bet if you need the form factor.
My guy. It is a ratchet. This is like buying a Prius and complaining that it's slow. If you want a fast car, buy a fast car. If you want a 90° impact, buy a 90° impact.
@@YuckFou0x0FFFF it's like buying a Prius that gets horrible gas mileage. I'm not complaining that it's slow, but rather simply pointing out that for the price they're asking, this ratchet sucks. As far as power goes, I'm not expecting huge numbers, but you always should expect it to have at least enough power to be comparable to the high speed ratchet which is around 20-25ft lbs of torque...
@@itspapaj4732 Torque Test Channel did a video on this. They showed It as around 40-50 ft lbs off trigger pull with an appropriate battery. + a little nudge to get it just passed 60.
This insider is def on my radar. I have to do a brake job on my car, front and rear, and I have been looking for an electric ratchet. My first electric ratchet.
Had an incident when I was jamming out to master of puppets. everything was going good on this water pump take down. Until I backed out the bolt too far and got the ratchet pinned against the body and the bolt. Had the biggest “oh shit” moment in a while. Long story short, was able to switch the ratchet back to tighty with a dental scraper pick and all was well. So thankful Milwaukee did this new feature.
Wish Milwaukee made a short neck version. I barely use my speed m12 anymore cause of the insider is my go to but at times it’s too long
Bro, he barely usesd that insider. He could have gotten away with a 1/4 or 3/8 Hercules for 1/3 of the price.
You think you could do a video on what tools you use on the 4runner? I'm trying to build out a Milwaukee set and it would be cool to see where you use a 1/2" impact vs a 3/8" impact mid/high torque, insider etc.
If your working on a Honda Civic or a Honda Fit your gonna need 6 inch and even 10 inch extensions no matter what.
Honestly I have the right angle impact and it’s done the job so far. Although that insider ratchet is something I really want especially when working on engines
It’s good but weak. Wish it was made like a impact
Why the battery is more bigger :(
As a person with bigger hands; I like the paddle. It allows me to hit the button almost anywhere my hand is on the ratchet. It gets caught up so rarely that I barely notice the extra size compared to a button
I would still use my hand rachet for those coils.
Acme tools said its made in China?
anyone know the difference between the 3050-20 and the 3050-21?
-21 comes with one battery and most likely a charger -20 is just the tool. If the part number says -22 it comes with two batteries and HO means high output.
6 thumbs up thank you.
I got the 3/8 extended reach and wasn't sure i was sold on this update, but by the end of the video i want it!!
So you can put other brand sockets on the anvil?
Yes, 3/8 and 1/4 can use any regular college.
After I found your channel I had to see what you said about the this ratchet. You did not let down! Well done!
Awesome glad I could help 👍🏻
How was that unit
proprietary sockets...no thank you.
Did ya watch the whole video? You can use regular sockets also
A couple of disappointing features is it doesn’t go to 3/4” pass through for 1/2” all thread and it doesn’t fit Astro low profile sockets proprietary was not the way to go I would much rather buy a tool that works with other sockets especially if you break or loose a socket
You can use all the normal sockets you have with this no problem with the 1/4 or 3/8 anvil
On bigger sockets making them pass through would make them weaker probably braking while in use. And regarding their proprietary sockets remember Milwaukee is a company and the goal is to make money, improving a tool while creating necessary accessories and add ons for such tool plus expanding their catalog is a win win for them.
Excellent demo review
Hello Blake's Garage
I just found your channel and subscribed. Question for you, is there a SAE version of the sockets?😊
Yes there is you do have to order that one from Milwaukee. But it’s also nice that it has the 3/8 adapter so you can use basically any of the sockets that you already have. Plus it has a quarter inch adapter as well.
@@BlakesGarageThere actually is a 1/2" adapter available for purchase separately also.
@@LoveMyMagMoreThanYou what! That’s rad.
This was a very chaotic video.
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Jack!
Do they have 12-point sockets with that set?
The ones that come with it are all just regular ones not sure if they make a 12 point yet.
Good content but horrible lighting and production quality.
Sorry it exported weird with the color profile from the HRD video. Usually I don’t have an issue but Ive been messing around an AI editor and it kinda did some weird stuff.
Is it possible to go from 3/8 to 1/2 with adapter ?
They do sell the 1/2 inch insider adaptor, it just doesn’t come included with the tool.
But do they do an extra holder for the rail so you can store it next to the 3/8?
When are you going to do the updated toolbox tour
