Hey dudes today we throw that crappy nissan tech in the bin for some more solid skidz!!! Hicas Lockout Bar here - www.gktech.com... song - TFB9 by Vibe Tracks
Hey Chase! Wondering if you ever replaced the tie rods with toe rods instead? Looking to get an R32 soon and want full adjustability. Thanks if you can get back to me!
Kouki Slides nope I still run the stock rear tie rods and drifted all year on them. Worked for me. If you can afford to upgrade to better stuff go for it! I probably will get a better rear suspension setup this winter as well
curious if its possible to just take off the hicas bar, rods and hardlines if your going to drop a new sr20det without a hicas ps pump and upgrade to chase bays PS kit in your 180sx. thank you.
I did not, but if you want to delete everything instead of looping the system you can remove the fins. OR source a RB25 pump and bolt it on and go no fins in those.
B bo it’s mainly a drift car and I want my rear alignment to be fixed and not changing when I’m mid drift. This system adjust Toe in and out depending on where the steering wheel is.
Hey man wanna do this to my s13 but seen such a debate online on how to loop the lines or cap them and what you should and shouldnt do. Have you felt a difference in powersteerig or have any issues since you capped the lines and didnt loop them?
enfielder4life nope, no issues and no HICAS lights have came on. It does make the steering a little heavier but it's such a small difference and honestly I like the way it feels. You do lose a lot of weight deleting everything though. It's all preference
There's a 95% chance I will never do this but watched the entire thing
Finally!!! A DETAILED one thank you
hell yes! finally a good hicas delete video, been confused about how to delete it on my 180sx. love the videos man!
Akia Smith thank you so much! Glad I could help someone out!
So doing this will not harm the power steering pump? Can someone confirm ?
it looks like it time for some new bushings soon
This system looks Heavy Duty, wow Durability of Nissan

Is this a good technique as this seams very simple and this is how I would want to do it
so was there a big difference drifting the car without hicas?
Street Sweepers Garage yes huge, car wasn’t changing it’s toe and alignment depending on where the steering wheel is

So hicas is unreliable or makes the car perform worse? I would think that rear steer helps performance but maybe im wrong ?
Would a time attack car want to keep it?
Dude I APPRECIATE this video so much.
Glad i could help!
@@ChaseHoffman had to sub cause your channel is tight af and you give a lot of insight on everything in detail. Appreciate ya my dude🤘🏼🤘🏼
Chase, I have an Infiniti M56 with HICAS issue. Do you if your Skyline delete will work for it
Could you have done it with leaving the tie rods on the car ?
With the Gktech kit, those spacers with the caps in the bag , what did you do with those?
How did you remove the tie rod ends off the ball joint?
America has hicas? Are you sure? The top trim s13s from japan had hicas i know that. 180 and silvia
cancel yep I have only seen a few but there are US 240s with HICAS. Also Z32s had it but it was a different style
Chase Hoffman Wow i didn't know that!! Thanks for the reply!
cancel no problem thanks for watching!!!
Just got myself an R32 GT-R. HICAS for sure :)
Awesome video, man. What diff do you have? Mine came imported with the same one and I can’t figure out what it is.
Like what ratio? I believe all GTST R32 diffs are 4.38 ratio.
Also 5 bolt axles unlike s13 which is 6 bolt
Deleting my hicas soon.. are u sure u just can plug the lines?
I'm wondering if you removed fins from the steering pump? I've heard it has to be done?
I did not, but if you want to delete everything instead of looping the system you can remove the fins. OR source a RB25 pump and bolt it on and go no fins in those.
thank you ed sheeran. quite helpful
Why are you doing this? If it’s not broken why remove it?

Can I put ISR toe arms on this HICAS delete bar? Nice vid man!
Yes should be fine
