  • In this episode we take a closer look at our 6 flight instruments: the airspeed indicator, attitude indicator, altimeter, vertical speed indicator, heading indicator and turn coordinator.
    Pressure altitude:
    (29.92 - current altimeter setting inches Hg) * 1000 + current elevation in feet above MSL

    Thanks for posting this. Was a great visual to explain basic aviation gauges to my 3yr old. He especially liked the attitude indicator and thought it was a pretty funny name. Cute kid.

    Right on the edge of too much information but not there. A good deeper than most about the top 6 instruments and what they REALLY tell us.

    I have a issue because i dont see the AP button on autopilot

    • @superhans85
      @superhans85 4 роки тому

      They changed it in an update Pankak. There is no autopilot button any more. You must press the HDG (Heading) or the NAV button to activatw it. I suggest pressing turning the compass bug (orange marker) to the direction required, and then pressing the HDG button. You may also want to press the ALT button to maintain altitude

      @@panknak1120 Sorry for getting back to you late. You can either set a button in the keyboard configuration, or (what I do) press the small red button on the left hand of the yoke.

    1 nm is 1 min of latitude, not 1 second. 1 degree is 60 nm. Otherwise, nice and informative video.😀

    You definitely can't fly drunk. A lot if info to manage. Takes a lot to become IFR pilot. Geez
