This is Part 5 of the SOVMIKU CQ1 Solar-Battery-Powered 3MP 360° PTZ WiFi Camera. In this video we're testing the range or how far can this camera be mounted or installed away from the router or internet hub without lagging or drop in video or audio quality. In the video we mentioned 150 feet but after re-measuring the distance was actually 200 feet.

By the way this is our first solar-powered security camera. We have searched far & wide looking for the best unit, and we came across this SOVMIKU CQ1. It is a 3MP (megapixels) which is 1.5x better than 2MP or 1080p ( 2048 x 1536 vs 1920 x 1080). Solar means there is no need for power supply, 12V low voltage cable, ethernet cable or POE injector, a completely standalone camera that can be mounted anywhere on our property. The product is new for 2022 and was first available on April 14, 2022 but has already received a lot of positive reviews and 5 star ratings on Amazon so we figured we should at least try it to see how it goes.
