Alex, you’re using the devices at a transmission power way above legal limits in the UK. Both antenna gain and transmitter power totalled together should not exceed 36dBm... and that’s in the licensed 5.8ghz band.
If you’re not careful this will cause you a great deal of pain with OfCom!
Read up on IR2007 and FWA Band B and C.
Moreover, your output is 50watts and the UK limit is 4watts! 🤯

Not to mention that there appears to be no resiliency built into the Core, which appears to be built into a loft space susceptible to overheating.
      Don’t worry, he has a 40minute UPS 😉
Pleased to see the entrepreneurship though, as long as his customers are aware of the limitations and risks of the design, and the appropriate sign-off granted for providing the service.
      I wish him luck.

I also run an ISP in Europe.. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger then this guy. Like 10K+ customers. But back to your problem, It will depend on tree coverage for antenna coverage, fiber optic cable is super cheap if you have some tractor there on the farm, build a subsoiler with a cable shoot, 40-50cm (Our machinery achieves 110-130cm direct buried cable.) You can look at a pipe layer, that will do the same job... Lay a cable deep, job done. If there are trees, the signal will vary depending on the time of year (Leaf cover). This guy is a joke.

@icycrash well as a WISP in a third world country the premium APs like the rockets or airfibers are out of reach for most of us and compared to the high prices for the accompanying horn antennas it makes us use the older M series stuff, I have a prism in my network and it's really doing wonders but it's price is really high and j can't afford to buy another. I have all kinds of equipment in my network and even have a first generation nanostation2 and it kicks ass doing a 4km nlos link signals at -68, just wish the wisps on the west would not bin the older devices but send them over so that we give them a new lease of life, out here pushing even 10M to a school with a computer lab really helps to bring alot of information to the students.

Can you put more receivers on to one host dish? Basically, if you only have one of those dishes on your house, but you had like 5 defenders in 5 different locations (with line of sight), will it still work?

Im not too sure on this pairing but yes it is possible. In the industry this is referred to as Point to Multipoint. Ubiquiti's LTU and AirMax MultiPoint is what you'd look at for doing something like what you are suggesting. With LTU there is someone getting 24.59Km or 15.2 miles between points.

you would need a sector, 45' 60' 90' or 120' degrees as a standard powerbeam dish is 15' wide, so your stations would come on sidelobes and jsut create a mess of interference for yourself and be fooled by the CCQ quality/capacity

Did you ever find out who owned the mast you were looking at using to boost your PtP ISP service through?
