Thank you Aaron. After over a decade of not skating and a motorcycle accident. I'm re-learning all of these old tricks and need this detail I have forgotten. When I got back into skating, I never even heard of a tre flip. I guess it's a 360 flip?. Anways, I can land one once out of about 10 tries for sure

I don’t feel like landing with one foot is helpful for me because it creates a habit for me of flicking while my back foot is already on the ground. So, it feels like learning how to land with only my front foot is a setback. Other than this, these videos are so helpful for me. Keep it up!

Another big huge tip if you haven’t skated long or in a long time do some leg exercises and get them quads built up cause you use them muscles a lot and don’t realize it until they’ve weakened and you feel it the next day after skating. Once you get the muscle built up and have the muscle memory it’s all you and commitment to sticking it .

To be honest with you man... my problem is that i was skateboarding all my youth long. Then I had shitty accident when i was riding a dodgy fun box. Anyway, my kneecap popped out and ripped away a big piece of the knee bone which needed to be screwed back on with 2 screws in a big surgery. Got lots of trouble with the knee since then for multiple reasons and didn´t go back on the board... well now I´m 34 and I said to myself F IT! I don´t need to jump stairs n make my knee run full of blood but i can still get some ground tricks done with style and grind low stuff... I only notice that I need to work hard on my stamina and right now its all about riding the board as often as i can to just gain the muscles again (strange eh. you think youre fit and then you go skateboarding again and think... "didnt know that i have these muscles"). Ollie, 180s and shoveits work good but need to be improved, just don´t get em as high as i want to but patience will pay off. kickflip n heelfilp... flips still work but its hard to get this extra sense of cautiousness out of the head as much as i need it to make place for some confidence to actually land them properly (commitment once f´ed my knee right). But also there patience will pay off I think... all I know is that I need to get this done in 3 month because then germanys largest skate park will open in my city (for you its maybe small... 3800 square meters but here its a big thing and im so looking forward to this (wish we had that as i was a bit younger though)).
Long story short: physical (regaining physical fitness for tricks and "the right falling") and mental recovery (get barriers out of the way and find the right balance between how far you can go with permanent damages from former injuries) after accidents (typical skate injuries/ also some of the more tragic ones like mine) would be a good subject.

Hey guys! My name is Renzo Biagino, and i got inspired so much by your video's, that i started skating...
I am actually a professional sponsored scooter rider by the brand CHILI, and i started watching your video's and i was like WOW, i didn't even know that you could do all those things with (what it basicly is) a wooden plank on wheels, but some time passed, and i kept watching your video's, even when my friends asked me to come and film a line for our sponsor, i said: "Sorry guys, i don't have time right now" . i also decided to buy mysellf a skateboard, and i just started of with cruising in my city, and trying to do some ollie's. My friends did not understood why i started skating, so i just said: go watch braille skateboarding, thats all im saying. now i am getting pretty used to the fact that there are no handlebars, and i can kickflip down5 stairs. im still riding my scooter though, because thats kinda my job, so yeahh. but i just wanted to thank you guys SO FREAKING MUCH for introducing me to the sports of skateboarding ( is that how you say it? idk :p ) so yeah thanks a lot guys, en keep up the great content, and keep inspiring people all over the world (like me i live all the way in belguim {europe} ) MUCH LOVE, byeee

    back foot pushes 180.
sounds like im about to loose my nuts to be honest but im game.
last time I was trying to do flip tricks (back when the dinosars roamed the earth)
we didn't call these tricks varial flips or tre flips (spanish ye)
they were just flips with the degrees of rotation like 180 kick flip or 360 kick flip.
new tricks and new terminology for the old tricks videos like this are gold.

I have a challenge for Carlos, first of all, I'm not a skateboarder so I don't know if this is even possible, but in my head it is....
A trick I would like to call a barrel roll. It's to "roll" the skateboard over your frontfoot.
How I think this trick would be possible is to do an ollie, and when you level out your board, instead of catching it with your back foot, you use your frontfoot to push the board slightly downwards and then inwards towards you, making the board do a forward roll over your front foot. It's hard to explain but it is kinda like when you do a pen trick and roll a pen over/around your thumb, but instead with a skateboard over your front foot.
I have no idea if this trick ever has been done but I think it's a trick that would look really cool.

A couple years back I watched your videos but wasn’t allowed to get a skateboard so I stopped watching. Came across the channel again realised that I was turning 18 in a month and went to the local skate shope (which Iwas very afraid of but it went well haha) I’ve been skating for a few days now and I want to say thank you for the videos and the tutorials they really help

Hey Aaron, good to see you're doing skate tutorials again, I love them! I have two questions: 1. Are you always wearing your wedding ring while skating? I usually take mine off to skate 'cause I'm afraid to hurt my finger and then have a problem with the ring on it, or put dents into it falling on it. 2. Is there a way to get SMS 1 for free online? I know you're sending out the DVDs for just the shipping cost but since I'm not in the US that's not really an option for me. Keep up the great vids!

Hi Braille, thank you so much for all of these videos, its helps a lot. I have a question: When I try to learn a trick it's easier for me to catch first with my back foot (when i try the "part" one foot catch) is it bad or important or just a preference ? I'm mongo btw if that change something =)

I have the weirdest hardflip, everyone calls it a "my last name flip". Super high up right in between the balls hard flip. Trying to learn it this way now. I love this trick.
