@lHustonProductionsl Okay, can we come to an agreement? The Challenger is beyond bulky and aerodynamically challenged. Yeah, it may have taken 40 some years, but the Mustang has been in production since...'65? I honestly prefer the older version of all three, not that I don't like the new '11 Mustang, I'd just rather have a '69-'72 Mach 1. Now, the Z28 or 78 Camaro was nice, but wasn't it out-done by the Mach 1 or am I not remembering it all?
Not much info out there but in Canada the buyers are evenly split, percentage wise, over all. They combined the V6s and the V8s in the study. If you assume the same thing happens here in the U.S. (practically the same country) And a U.S. study found that only 20.6% of women bought the 2010 Camaro SS, That would mean the same is true for V6. Meaning, conversely, and combining the two studies, men also bought 20.6% of the V6s. Let me know if you can't find the studies.
I'm planning on getting a 2010 2SS Camaro 6-speed but someone was telling me to wait for the 2011s because his axle split on his 2010 so he sold it. He told me to check out the consumer's reports online but I didn't find any reports re: faulty axles. I'm still going after the Camaro around April next year. I have 10 grand saved up but I want to save another 5 grand.
It’s 2024 and these cars despite their age if they’re well looked after and have relatively low mileage which most do where I am located because of winter are still fun , great budget options with enough power and the beautiful N/A V8 sound to enjoy the hell out of all summer. It sounds weird but I swear like a week ago I saw a brand new white '10 Ford Mustang on the street right outside my house. First I thought it was the 05-09 model but I noticed the rearlights was a bit different and the sound was massive when it took of. The reason its kinda weird is that it is a 2010 model which came out for sale not long ago in USA and I live in this random little town in nowhere in Norway. That doesn't make sense. The only Mustang in town before that one was a 62 cab and coupe
@EXiS091 and we may not be talking about stock but big classic blower superchargers arnt even used... a supercharger for the camaro and mustang are about equally priced, the mustang supercharger brings it up to 436 hp, the camaro supercharger brings it up to 540 hp, you dont even see modern cars with the massive blower sticking out the hood anymore, that was then this is now.
@lHustonProductionsl Yeah. That's another reason why i chose the Mach 1; it had power, luxury and a fair price. Many older cars rust way too easily, but you've gotta take to heed they didn't have all the prime-and-protect we have these days for that stuff.
I have never seen an auto out of a stock GM (or any car for that matter) that has yet been tinkerd with or rebuilt or a line lock put in, beat a standard. also i really doubt they nutral droped it, becaus a stock ss does not have a line lock. Point is is both the mustang and the camaro both perform reasonably the same they cost about the same, for the same equipment relative to each company, both perform about the same both have huge aftermarket backgrounds, both do it all in very differnt ways

@ADD8oi 32 miles a gallon please tell me where you found that because i have read much lower epa in the 22 range also it has bad blind spots, lack of head room, hard to get in to if your over 5-9. My friend has one and he is 6ft tall nice car but its hell for him to get in and out lol
@Tyler8994 could you link me the supposed complaints from Ford on GM's release of new products... Thanks in advance. Also they are comparing the SS to a GT to a SRT8. SS and SRT8 are the top of the line in both Challenger and Camaro. GT is the midline. what does that tell you. Put them against the Z06 to the Shelby GT 500. SS is will get blown away on both accounts. A 367 Hp doing 0-60 in 4.9 and a 305 in 4.8.... and is 111HP less. Hardly find that impressive for GM.
@DrunkwithGunsGamers Uh, yeah the challenger r/t isn't going to do 189mph (which is what 300 kph is). The charger also weighs the most by far! Which is why that horsepower isn't put to great use. In the srt8, its a different story, but not in the r/t.
@mitchag191 isn't that still just a rumor? i know it's going to end up in the trucks but chrysler hasn't confirmed it for the challenger. i'd kill to have any of these cars i just think combined with the new mustangs handling upgrades and it's weight the 412 horse power motor will be more than enough to beat any thing dodge puts in the challenger and anything chevy can while staying competitive in price
@BRAV0TWOZER0 I was trying to correct the guy that said "Fords are made in Mexico". He was trying to say ALL Fords are made there. I agree with your statement.
@EXiS091 Because its the CLASSIC matchup thats the whole point, 1969 mustang GT, 1969 Camaro SS, and 1969 Challenger R/T... besides the Gt500 it supercharged which means it does not compete with a SS or SRT8 and the SRT8 still slower than the Camaro SS
Im looking to buy a new car in the next couple months. Im not sure what to get tho... I was thinking the new challenger or camaro or possibly the 2004 mustang. BUT all these videos ive watched say that the 2010 mustang is the best and frankly i like the 2010 body style (hated the 2005-2009) plus i like the new full glass roof or the hard top convertible.
For 2011, the Blue Oval is introducing a new 3.7-liter V6 Mustang that should give it the firepower and refinement needed to take on Chevrolet's six-cylinder Camaro and Hyundai's upstart Genesis Coupe. But it isn't just the spanking all-aluminum powerplant and its 305 horsepower and 280 foot-pounds of torque
@NedacFilms and the big brother GT will be pushing 400+hp... this may be the greatest MuscleCar/PonyCar era, ever.... Its great times to be a fan of American Performance.
@chfpontiac As a mechanic I can tell you that pw ratio takes a backseat to engine quality, chevrolet has that, also the camaros unlike the mustangs are weighted to a point where the tires dont spin, my 84 z28 is the same way, and yes Ive driven all three my fav. the challanger, go figure, guess mopar doesnt suck
@mauivato Id rather have the R/T. The SRT has an auto box, it doesnt sound as good as the R/T and its fails. Besides your missing the point, Its the classic match up between the R/T, the SS and the GT all rivals 40 years ago. The SRT8 doesnt fit in.
I'm a fan of Camaro and Challenger too, but I just got a 2010 Mustang a few days ago and that car is a dream-come-true. I've driven all 3 but the overall feel of the Mustang doesn't make it seem like its just a show car or concept car like the others.
@WHvideos sorry to burst your bubble, but the SRT-8 cost close to 50k, and these cars cars cost close to 20k less than the SRT-8
Also, you do know the camaro is outselling the mustang by 1000-2000 units a month right?
@Smashed3000 No, that's the SS in the test. That is unless GM quality control failed to notice they put the wrong badge on the car.
@89powerup
Buses are made to carry people around. Should they have 40 doors?
@Veyron0126 I hope so. I am a die hard Camaro and Vette fan but I love the Mustang also.
what does it mean when the car starts shaking at 80mph? is it just the tires or bearing?
@BRAV0TWOZER0 I was trying to correct the guy that said "Fords are made in Mexico". He was trying to say ALL Fords are made there. I agree with your statement.
@EXiS091 Because its the CLASSIC matchup thats the whole point, 1969 mustang GT, 1969 Camaro SS, and 1969 Challenger R/T... besides the Gt500 it supercharged which means it does not compete with a SS or SRT8 and the SRT8 still slower than the Camaro SS
dont know if youve added any mods yet but these cars respond great to every mod you add!!!
for the skidpads is it better to have more grams or less?
so does the fully loaded honda accord and the ss whats your point?
Im looking to buy a new car in the next couple months. Im not sure what to get tho... I was thinking the new challenger or camaro or possibly the 2004 mustang. BUT all these videos ive watched say that the 2010 mustang is the best and frankly i like the 2010 body style (hated the 2005-2009) plus i like the new full glass roof or the hard top convertible.
@AMDemo90
You're right. The Camaro is definitely the "all around winner". Well, unless you have to go around something.
@elr456 I heard that they are going to make the Z28 and put the 550 hp Calillac CTS-V engine in it. If they do then that will be some car.
Not a 4.6L V8 it's a 5.0 now, it even says it on the badge on the side of the mustang
@serfdomthwart hell ya it will be. the V6 2011 is going to have nearly as much as the 2010 GT has today. the 2011 is going to be kickass!!
the 3 legends are back
I like the old versions of this 3 legends but they look soo sweet
@mauivato Id rather have the R/T. The SRT has an auto box, it doesnt sound as good as the R/T and its fails. Besides your missing the point, Its the classic match up between the R/T, the SS and the GT all rivals 40 years ago. The SRT8 doesnt fit in.
I'm a fan of Camaro and Challenger too, but I just got a 2010 Mustang a few days ago and that car is a dream-come-true. I've driven all 3 but the overall feel of the Mustang doesn't make it seem like its just a show car or concept car like the others. Ford has spent the years perfecting their car while their competitors ditched the American muscle for pick-ups and economy vans.
why didn't they test the SRT challenger instead?
1,320ft is 1/4 mile sir..so they did the quatermile test thats a high speed test
Okay only automatic transmission each car have same hp whit standard transmicion?
when it comes to gas, which one should i pick, camaro 2010 or challenger 2011?
