The 1le and zl1 options make the car look way better but its not helping sales. The 5th gen has that classic muscle car look that the Camaro wont have again.
Actually dodge is with their hp, growing fame, and popularity. The camaro unfortunately is dying. And it a shame because the camaro is a serious performer

I see a lot of high mileage (100k+ miles) 5th gen 1SS and 2SS coupes and convertibles going for around $16-25k; obviously with the later year models costing a bit more. Most 5th gen RS’ models 🎉that are genuinely high mileage or “clapped out”, at least with a clean title; those still rake in anywhere from under $10k to maybe $18k tops. And the ZL1 and Z28 (obviously) are still appreciating in value. I personally have a 2010 2SS LS3 coupe, and I would’ve personally opted for a 2013, for the 10-13 chassis and 14-15 goodies.

I bought my 2010 4 years ago and LOVE IT! Had to wait till I could afford one. I fell in love with it immediately and will keep it until I can’t drive anymore. It is a real beast when you floor it, yet it can still deliver 25-27 MPG on a trip. It is comfortable and really gets the compliments !

My dad finally bought one just today after soo many years thinking about it(mostly because of my mom lol) 2ss convertible(auto) with a ZL1 bodykit and a exhaust, pretty awesome car.( the rear seats are usable I fit behind them 5'10 a bit cramped but better than a 3rd row seat of LX570 lmao). My dad finally is going to have the fun he deserves after so much years of hardwork and beating cancer.

just got the same Camaro SS, and after having German and Japanese luxury sedans this thing is a whole other level. the smiles per gallon you get on this thing is over 9000!!!! It's my daily driver and after so long it's so reliable and let's me beat it up hard and keeps asking for me. the SS is a car everyone should have once in there life!

I remember people walking up to it and asking about it wherever I went. In some ways I like the 5th gen better than the new one. More room and more fun to drive. Timeless styling.
I started off with the 2010 v6 back in 2009 because I couldn't afford the v8. I finally got my 2010 SS in 2018 and I don't ever planning on selling it. With a CAI, hi-flow cats and a set of Flowmasters on it, this thing sounds amazing... It's a Beast!!!

I know this is a old video but I was one of those 14,000 that ordered and I still have it. Its a great car and love it. The first thing I did when I got home was take that silly engine cover off and the plastic peaces that held it on. It looks way cleaner that way.
2022 and a clean 2010 low miles is still high 20s. Of course all used cars are ridiculously priced now. Trade in value on my 19 trailboss is 8g more than I paid for it brand new.
benefits: usually the filter is an open air element, meaning its not in a intake box. the filter is usually routed down low away from the heat of the engine so you get cooler denser air which equals more power, makes an awesome sound as the revs rise. Downside: If you hit a puddle or drive in the rain theres a chance you can suck water into your engine which can be pretty bad
Rewatching this and seeing that the Camaro "came back after 7 years" is really giving me a good outlook on the Camaro coming back again in possibly that same short period of time.

The Camero is actually Australian underneath. It is in the uk a Vauxhall VXR Monaro. In Australia, It is the Holdon Commodore HSV. In the USA, it is the Chevy Camero. Under neath it is all identical, just body is different.

Turns out it's the most fun car I've ever owned ! I love it !! Now saving for a ZL1

Love how affordable these early 5 gen SS Camaros are now. They came out when I was just getting into high school and got me into loving American V8s

i have a 2013 2SS runs like a bear, fun to drive, no issues at 4 years 43k miles.
