It continues to blow my mind the amount of passion being put into this game. It literally leaves me speechless. Every time I’ve watched Sam or any of developers talk about this project you can see the amount of love they have for it. Im sorry to state this but, with Alan Wake 2, it is crystal clear that Sam Lake is the mastermind in interactive media surpassing Kojima. The songs, the scenes, the atmosphere. I'm so happy that a sequel to the original game that I loved and got bummed that sequels were cancelled, came back in such an incredible way. Im so happy Sam took pride in his work and the team did their absolute best. Not just a standard sequel, but a completely new ground setter. I sure hope Poets of the Fall got a track or 2 in the game. One of the most memorable parts in any video game I've ever played was Alan fighting off waves of taken on the Old Gods of Asgard Stage in the first game. Also when Jesse has to go through the Ashtray Maze was pretty epic. I've been waiting for this game for sooooo long... You guys know how to take games to an whole new level. Old Gods of Asgard is in the game. They are releasing a greatest hits album called "Rebirth - Greatest Hits" on December 8 this year. It will include four new songs from which three of them are from Alan Wake 2 (eight songs altogether)..

So how does Poe's "This Road" figure in to this? Since it's used differently from the 7 Chapter Songs, and it seems to be exclusive to Alan's chapters. I noticed it's not on the Chapter Songs album, but it's also not on any release yet. I really like it, and it's been stuck in my head since I first heard it. Looping forever...
I was inspired to come watch this video after hearing a few of the tracks on my first playthrough of the game. What a fantastic idea to do this collaboration, it really elevates the experience and finishing a chapter to hear one of the tracks is a real highlight. Well done everyone, I'm absolutely loving the game 🤩
My Alan Wake 2 experience was incredible; unparalleled. No film or book has ever hit me as hard as this game. By chance, I started playing this game just after I lost the love of my life and the greatest job I ever had because of my own monstrosity, my alcoholism. The analogy was so clear, but the pacing was so ingenious that even though I felt it early on, I didn’t explicitly comprehend it until close to the end. I had nothing to do with my life but drink myself into unconsciousness from the moment I woke, and in every vague moment of consciousness I had, I was playing this game. Captivated by something deep within it, calling me forward. Such a cosmic mystery, yet making absolutely perfect sense at the same time. Then, at the end: it’s You who has the realization, and it is ONLY YOU, who must make the sacrifice. Kill what you are, to become who you could be. I was completely floored. Stunned into absolute silence, barely understanding what I had just lived through. And then… “Heroes and Villains” by Poets of the Fall began to play. When I fully heard and understood the words, I couldn’t take it anymore. I collapsed onto my floor, sobbing and begging for forgiveness, because “Who will pay the price, the Lost or the Damned?” Which am I? Which was she? Does it matter? I made the mistake, and it was my sweet, innocent, eternally beautiful and loving woman who paid the price. 12 of the best years of her life, wasted. Because she believed in me, but I was weak. There is nothing, no way to redeem myself except to make the ultimate sacrifice. Lord in heaven, look down on me in mercy: grant me a bullet of light, because there is no other way to go on.
I love that Remedy has so many behind the scenes videos, and it wasnt just there for false hype; the game lives up to the words they say in the videos. That makes you realize they made all these videos to document something they knew they were proud of and the gane was going to be great.
One day, i hope, Remedy takes all these seasoned ingredients and creates a swan song for a silver haired Max. One last glorious, monolouging note of Payne.
I absolutely fucking love Sam Lake. What a sincere, talented and humble man he is. I always feel inspired after hearing him speak. Such brilliant music. I listen to all the songs regularly since hearing them in-game.
Remedy has always been insanely great at what they do, but with Alan Wane 2 they stepped outside the boundary’s of how good a game can be, everything about this game is absolutely phenomenal. Remedy has shot up to one of my favorite studios, and Sam Lake is easily my favorite writer / director along with Cory Barlog. You can tell he’s extremely passionate about the work he makes, and cares. I’m extremely excited for the upcoming DLC’s for Alan Wake (that Jesse/control snippet gave me literal goosebumps), and for Control 2.
How can you not love Sam? ❤🔥 Alan Wake 2 is a distressing mental labyrinth, distorted and sick, capable of imprisoning you in its darkest corners if you leave it free. But ART is your guide/salvation and never abandons you. The music, the acting, the photography, the writing and the direction lull you gently and lovingly for the entire duration of your dark Dante's wanderings. It helps you break through the blanket of darkness that separates you from a cathartic warmth, a light that pulsates with peace and holds out its hand to you at the end of the tunnel. Thank you SAM and thank you REMEDY for all the love and courage you put in every time to overcome your limits and give us a gaming experience that transcends "the game" itself. This for me is called MAGIC.🖤
I’m playing Alan Wake 2 and am loving all the songs. The Alan Wake games and Control have great music in them. Listening to them is definitely helping with my own song writing and producing. Really great stuff!
Can we just appreciate the creative genius that is Sam Lake. This man has been entertaining us with their games since 1996 with Death Rally. Later in 2001 with the amazing Max Payne franchise and from 2016 and on with Quantum Break, Control and Alan Wake!
Can we acknowledge that this game pulled off the impossible: all the chapter songs were bangers

The 9min full version is only on UA-cam it seems…
I'm loving the vibes
Incredible ost, absolutely amazing
The chapter ending credits music will be back? That's a good thing.
Can't believe I didn't see it coming, like it's so obvious
It's very rare that a game or any piece of media gets such a giant, giant leap for a sequel. Y'all really went all guns ablaze with Alan Wake 2.
And you guys did a great job! All the songs are 100% certified bangers!
And then…
“Heroes and Villains” by Poets of the Fall began to play. When I fully heard and understood the words, I couldn’t take it anymore. I collapsed onto my floor, sobbing and begging for forgiveness, because “Who will pay the price, the Lost or the Damned?”
Which am I?
BROOO this game was too good. Masterpiece.
The chapter songs are masterpieces. Follow you into the Dark is amazing. Night Springs is an absolute bop.
Beautifully made game and music. Loved every second I spent in these games.
Just bought Alan Wake Remastered, Control and Alan Wake 2 ready to experience the RCU because I'm feeling passion in these people
One day, i hope, Remedy takes all these seasoned ingredients and creates a swan song for a silver haired Max. One last glorious, monolouging note of Payne.
I would really like to hear more about that early iteration of dark twisted and cruel
This thing they've made can't be classified as a game but a work of art. Remedy never disappoints.
I absolutely fucking love Sam Lake. What a sincere, talented and humble man he is. I always feel inspired after hearing him speak. Such brilliant music. I listen to all the songs regularly since hearing them in-game.
Everyone who worked on this game, thank you❤
Hyped to play this! Thanks Remedy, Sam Lake and Team!
Alan Wake 2 is a distressing mental labyrinth, distorted and sick, capable of imprisoning you in its darkest corners if you leave it free.
The concept of chapter songs is soooo amazing!!
Finished the game today. I really enjoyed the chapter songs. Superhero is my favorite I think.
Thank you Sam for everything, for so many wonderful experiences. And thanks to all the artists who make it possible. Love for everyone.
