Does anyone know what happened to the guitar player from Old Gods of Asgard, other two old bastards are there still, but when they begin the summoning, the image of all three in their youth plays out but there are only two guys on top in this time.
There are many parts of Alan Wake 2 that I liked, but it is far from perfect, and I find it shocking that it was being considered or given GOTY by anyone. First. Remedy claimed you didn't need to play the first game in order to get into the 2nd. Why then wasn't there a recap before the game started? Next, although I liked Sagas character and voice actor but by the time it was over, I couldn't wait for it to be done. Being in her mind place to go over things we already know didn't work. Forcing it to tie into the game world or you couldn't progress was not ideal. The combat system in the game was not built to take on multiple enemies, so what did Remedy do? Put the player in multiple situations that were only frustrating because the games combat wasn't built for it. I found myself asking the question multiple times. Is Alan Wake 2 even a video game? More often than not. It didn't feel that way. Forcing players to sit in Sagas' mind place being forced fed story bits they already knew was beyond boring and frustrating sometimes for 15-20 min at a time. Repeatedly hitting the A button over and over to move along to the next cue card. Does that make it a game?
@@duncancole1742 I mean the dialogue. People talking felt strange and unnatural in the first one. Now that energy is relegated to just a few characters, like wake and rose. Yes the townsfolk may be sort of strange but not in that way that hits you in the gut and makes your brain light up, you know? It has more tonally in common with control, I think
Haven’t beaten the game yet, but being a big fan of Lynch, I see a lot of references to not only Twin Peaks but also Lost Highway. It is kind of crazy how Alan Wake: American Nightmare predates season 3 of twin peaks, yet has a lot of the same ideas and plot points. Then Alan Wake 2 so far expands on it even further.

Good Video.. Melanie 😍
The Alan Wick
Does anyone know what happened to the guitar player from Old Gods of Asgard, other two old bastards are there still, but when they begin the summoning, the image of all three in their youth plays out but there are only two guys on top in this time.
I am so impressed with the very hard for doing alan wake 2 ❤
She is beautiful
Max payne 1,2, alan wake, quantum break, control, love all these games, but i would love to play quantum break 2, please remedy🥺.
That game was definitely underrated.
Illka+Matthew=Alan Wake=Zane+Darling
It is sooo scary geez. Lol
Freaking amazing game! 💯
Wow, saga smiling lol
Once in a lifetime game. Truly earth shattering
Please...this gonna be best game 2023 and best game horor 2023
Gotta say I miss the uncanny twin peaks vibe from the first game, but other than that AW2 may just be my new favorite horror game
I'd say this one is actually more like Twin Peaks, specifically the third season.
I love Saga
Game is bascially a Twin Peaks 1:1 rip off, but since few TP nerds are alive or being gamers, nobody is talking about it, still love it :)
