This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Absolutely amazing video, I was lucky to have lived in Mellieha for 3 years and have visited most of the places in your video. Thank you for the trip, it reminded me how awesome this lovely island of Malta is. Can't wait to visit again.
The hotel we stayed at in Xlendi was San Andrea if I remember correctly. Simple, but nice hotel, good views of the bay. And Qawra Palace Hotel in Salina for the rest of the trip, also good views and good breakfast.
We didn't have time to visit all sites and we're not going to mention a place we haven't visited ourselves. But it's on the list of places to visit if/when we go back to Malta. 🙂
We used Avis if I remember correctly. Looking at rental company reviews in Malta we felt like all of them were bad, and that Avis was the least worst. But we had absolutely no issues with them.
Hello - i like ur video I m planning to visit Malta for 6 nights (20-26 DEC) with my wife and 2 daughters(9and 8). And I have a couple on questions … 1-i have not got concrete plans yet..but tentatively , I m thinking of having a 2 night stay in GOZO and 4 nights somewhere near Valletta.. what do u think of this plan? 2-i have read a lot about the great bus service in Malta and I also heard that it is always late but I m unsure if that applies to the winter time? So honestly I m leaning towards renting a car especially Because I M going to spend some time in gozo?shall I do this or the bus is just fine? 3-what can I do on the Christmas day(25 DEC)?will everything be on shutdown? 4-i m flying back on 26DEC-(8am), if I don’t have a rental car , will I be able to reach the airport with uber/bus? 5- for cab-hailing apps,is uber the best one? 6-is there an available farm-stay property that we can stay in at malta where the kids can see/feed some animals like cows, horses , dog, cats or sheeps? Many Thanks,,
Hello! I'll try to answer the questions where I have experience with this: 1. I think that sounds like a good plan. There's quite a lot to see in Gozo too, we spent two nights there as well and definitively didn't get bored. And there's even more to see in Malta, so spending more time there sounds like good plan. 2. We travelled in winter time as well and didn't have issues taking the bus, but we only took it to Valetta. It might be that it's less reliable outside the cities. There are so many smaller places and rural roads that I'd definitively get a rental car. It also makes time management so much easier. For the other questions I don't really have any experience. I'd be surprised if there are no bus services to the airport, but as we had a rental car we didn't really check that option. Enjoy your trip, Malta is a beautiful place! 🙂
I'm seriously considering taking my soon to be Wife here for our Honeymoon. She's already been to Paris so, it's a decision between Malta and Rome. I have a feeling that Malta will be less expensive but that's not really the deciding factor.
There is currently a global rental car shortage making prices sky rocket, so you won't see prices like when this video was published. However, things are getting better, so prices should start to come down again soon.
I would take any opportunity to Return to Malta ,if i had the money a little Villa would be Perfect. I know my Beloved Husband 💓 isn't here to go with me anymore 💞 but i have enough lovely Memories to keep 🥰 me going.Like going Skinny-dipping in a beautiful little Hideaway that we found among the Rocks, Brilliant. I live in Malta and I can agree with everything but if you visit mdina no cars are allowed unless they live there and also visit mdina dungeons

Incredible that you are missing the most important site, the World Heritage Site and neolothical sites of Malta. The 5.000 year old burial sites.

Sir, do you remember where you rented the car from? I ve been searching for a car rental company, but didn't quite find a decent one.
